Lovely pub with home cooked food and large portions. Very welcoming owner and staff!

Paid £10 each for a breakfast, 3 of us eating, nobody in the cafe, now I know why! Breakfast was awful, potato rosti drenched in oil, bacon not trimmed & dry, a whole tomato not even cut only cooked on one side, as was the sausage, toast just plonked on top. NOTE TO SELF, if it’s quiet there’s a reason why!!

No flavour ,fries over cooked ,people getting served before us. Flys and bugs crawling up window

Lovely little place to stay. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was quaint and quirky. Fantastic atmosphere in the pub/restaurant. And the food, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Best 3 course meal and breakfast we’ve had in a long time. 100% will be back again whenever we are next in that part of the country.
