What ever chef you have atm KEEP HIM HE DESERVES A PAY RISE!! Always been a hot and miss in the past but the last 2 take always have been so fresh and hot and so so so tasty. Before the chicken never tasted fresh like it was heated up in the microwave. Last few times have been perfect.

It was really horrible food today. We could taste sugar in everything. It has put me off forever, no issue with delivery time. They wasted my evening with the food

Very disappointed. This is my go to curry house and I wont order again. I had a stamp card so that’s how regular a customer I am. It was a large order (over £200) and I was originally called by the restaurant to say it would be about 40minutes late due to the large order, which I accepted due to this. The food came and ALL the food tasted like plastic, like when you use kettle water for the 1st time. Such a shame and very disappointed. Most went in the bin - really gutted.

I collect a takeaway away from here regularly and always enjoy the food here. Good range of dishes on the menu, very reasonable price and just lately I think think the food has improved even more. Would recommend this restaurant quite highly

Food was cold and nothing to shout about rice was old, cold and hard and I got only 5 small peace’s of lamb with no flavor or spice. The popadom was stale and naan was hard.

2nd Time ive eaten from Raj Mahal and loved the food again. Excellent!

Butter chicken very sweet and chick piece is very small It’s like cooking for several days and then reheating it and not good quality , lamb not tender , The food is not delicious.

we've always ordered from here but the last 2 orders have been quite disappointing. Currys are very oily and thin. sheek kebab was like it was left over from yesterday, chicken chaat was so salty couldn't eat it. some poppadoms were stale! not sure if new owners or chef but not as good as it used to be.

Never ordered from them before but the selection & quality of the food delivered was fantastic. My wife and I were very impressed with the taste, both chicken and lamb dish clearly cooked by chiefs who knew how to cook well.

We order from here a lot and usually love it however it wasn’t great this time. Both curries were quite thin and oily and were disappointing. Hoping it’s just a one off and not the new way it’s going to be from now on.

Delicious food and great portions

Only downside is that the drinks were warm as they were placed in the bag with the hot food. Would be great if they were cold. Other than that, everything was great.

I always order from here and the food is sensational. Only thing from last night was the butter chicken was swimming in so much oil it could have competed in the 100 metres at the olympics. But otherwise everything else was great.

food was absolutely rubbish. A chef who does not know how to cook. A restaurant who as no customer service at all. lamb Rogan Josh tough lamb with no sauce at all. No spice and probably the worst curry I've had. . Bombay Aloo no spice or seasoning. My chapti was wet and my Purees too due to the steam by placing bread In a plastic bag. When I called to resolve the issue. I was told do what ever you want and wrote what ever you want. So I'm doing exactly that. Just Eat I want my refund back

Struggled to find an Indian takeaway that we all enjoyed but we have with Raj Mahal! All the food was tasty and as it should be. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the roti which was cold and rubbery and not edible. Will definitely order from here again

Definitely not the best cook, everything was far to greasy and the madras chicken was dry and hard as a rock

Food can be inconsistent - zalijala is a favourite but sometimes it's a little dry and sometimes saucy but when it's good it's really good!

So my food arrived 35 mins after it left the shop which is only 4mins away. I rang the store twice and each time they assured me it had left. On arrival, the two chappatis in a paper bag were cold as was the mixed platter starters.

Ordered a Lamb Biryani, It was absolutely tasteless. They mixed the lamb curry with rice and rice was like porridge . Never Again

Food took an hour and a half to come and it was cold. Really disappointed.

I would like to say food is good however its now an hour and a half late and still no food. The restaurant have been telling me its on its way for an hour which is interesting as its only a ten minute drive.

Not a good curry but it was cheaper than everywhere else. Butter chicken was really salty and not alot of flavour, plus sauce was split. Puddles of oil on the surface which I havnt seen that anount on a curry for a long time. Onion bhaji was alright but again, really oily. Naan was okay and chicken tika starter was again, really salty and not that flavoursome. I will not be going back as I think there are far better Indian takeaways out there but will deffo be paying more elsewhere.

Just changed from an Indian due to the quality going down the pan. And can’t complain at all about any of the dishes I ordered all well cooked and full of flavour delivery was spot on will be using from now on 👌

Food was a bit cold when it arrived. Curry dish was very very small. Couple of spoons full. Very disappointed in that as I can't really afford to get take aways. And had been saving for this. I bit oily as well. Taste wasn't too bad

asked for lamb tikka in a dish and got normal lamb, very dissatisfied

Sent wrong sides, ordered a vegetable curry not just potatoes. Extra item vegetable korma which was not nice at all, too sweet and very little veg mostly just sauce. The lamb rogan was extremely bland. Naan was good

Really disappointed with the food. Lamb Tikka starter was horrible. Tough texture, felt like biting into wood and tasteless. Onion bhaji's were dry and also tasteless. Onto the curry. Chicken Bhuna, dry and hardly any sauce at all. It didn't taste like a bhuna I've had before. Once again, tasteless and really disappointing. The only good part was the rice and the Naan.

The food was not good especially biryanis they had no flavours . But thanks for complimentary curry .

I used to order regularly every Sunday evening from here until recently. They promised me a free replacement order next time to replace an order that was ruined due to the driver. It never transpired and the last order was cold and sub-standard. Just goes to show you what contempt they have for a regular customer of approx 5yrs. Bye Bye.

Never had a bad meal, they make sure that what they send out is top notch.

Food is good. The best thing is that they can make changes in the Food according to your preference. Good Indian food with good options. The only concern is the portion size and I think they add some food colour in the Food. Which stick on your fingers while eating and will stay there even after you wash it.

The delivery was 25 minutes late, which was inexcusable considering I had ordered about 2 hours in advance. When the food arrived it was disappointing. The dishes were swimming in oil, and the chicken in both meat dishes was really tough. The Tarka Dal was good.

There was plenty of food and it was delivered spot on time. The Madras and Tandoori were great, but the Korma was very sweet - fabulous flavour, just very sweet. We'll definitely order from you again, though maybe something different.

Ordered food 6.30..still not arrived at 8pm..one hour is an acceptable waiting time..maybe hour and half on a busy night..no notifications..appalling! Wont be using them again so..finally when it arrived..naans were like cold leather..food was bland..possibly worst curry i ever had

Very authentic Indian taste and superb quality.

As a weirdo who likes Indian food but not spicy food, this is my new favourite Indian restaurant. I ordered bhaji, butter chicken and korma, and all were delicious. My only criticism was that the butter chicken was a bit split with a lot of oil on top, but after pouring out it was still very tasty. Would Recommend!
