As usual great food, tasty and delicious. They even helped amend a dish for my daughter who has a severe dairy allergy first time she has been able to try an Indian of her own! Would recommend to anyone, thanks guys for the wonderful meal

The best curries hands down!! The biryani is to die for and the achari chicken was just perfectly tangy and mouthwatering! The naans are also fantastic and fluffy. Definitely worth it again and again.

The korma wasn’t a regular korma. Very lumpy and thick with too much dedicated coconut. Pathia too hot also . Naan very dry, no butter on it, and big chunks of garlic

These guys are the best, they gave us free food in recognition of a gofundme page i set up to help a friend who lost everything in a fire and they wanted to pass on a gesture to us, thank-you tge food was fantastic.

Asked to not make it salty so yet again a wasted takeaway it was to salty to even eat , this has been the case since it changed hands hence I asked for it not to be salty but it was !

Hit and miss. Sometimes the food is great - if a little oily. Other times it feels like it’s just fine from a generic tomato dish with some additional things chucked in. Most recent one was so salty that it was almost inedible.

I could smell that the meat on the mixed grill was not fresh and of very poor quality, it was dry. I understand a grill doesn’t come with sauce I am talking about the texture of the meat.

Hot, fresh, packed with flavour and the lamb was so tender! We'll definitely be ordering again :)

Unfortunately Korma had curdled and had a cheesy taste. Dupiaza was alright. Rice was nicely cooked.

the food was late and cold but once heated up it was very nice just the chicken was dry due to having to heat it up in the microwave

We had a fantastic Indian in stevenage and ever since we moved here 3 years ago we have always yearned for the Indian we left behind, having not been able to find a decent enough replacement in Biggleswade… until now! We’ve tried many others and always been disappointed but we’ve had 2 from Raj Bengal now and credit where credit is due, they are amazing and we are so happy to have found a decent restaurant of our favourite take away! A*** service too!

Biggleswade United FC were treated to a superb curry night for our players. Delivered piping hot and delicious . Is also my first choice for a tasty Sunday night treat at home. Best in Biggleswade for quality and price.

To the delight of his culinary fans he has returned to fine cuisine, stepping out of retirement by taking over the reins at the Raj Bengal Takeaway. Our delivery boys made a visit to discover more… The Raj Bengal on Hitchin Street in Biggleswade delivered a culinary experience that left our taste buds in awe. The meal began with a delightful assortment of papadums and pickles/chutneys. The mango chutney added a sweet and tangy note, the mint yogurt sauce provided a refreshing contrast, the onion salad brought a crisp texture, and the sweet red onion chutney added a delightful sweetness. This starter set the stage for what turned out to be a gastronomic adventure. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Raj Bengal Special – succulent marinated chicken bathed in a velvety homemade spinach and cheese sauce. The marriage of flavours was impeccable, and each bite was a journey through a symphony of spices. The tenderness of the chicken was remarkable, showcasing the mastery of the kitchen. Equally impressive was the Chicken Shashlick, a delightful medley of marinated chicken brochette with tomatoes, onions, and capsicum, harmoniously infused with a blend of spices. Was told that the Raj bengal was the old owners of Clifton cuisine from a couple years back. And As an old customer of there’s from Clifton I had to try the new Raj Bengal, we definitely wasn’t disappointed!! food was piping hot and the flavours were on point…will definitely be back for more 😃

Nan and sides for poppadoms were on the small size - not sure if it’s becoming a norm 🤔 but good quality food

I absolutely love the Korma Sauce, have only ever tried it with Chicken but there is many options to put with the korma sauce also pleased the price & value doesn’t change much depending on different meat. Always arrives hot with lovely veg lovely fresh salads and dips.

Food was delivered not long after the restaurant opened. Fantastic dansak but, sadly all of the fried food was soggy and really unpleasant. I suspect the fryer oil wasn't hot enough and the order was rushed. I had to put the bhaji, pakora and chips in the air fryer for them to be edible.

The sauces were very good, as usual. I was disappointed by the poppadoms, they tasted of stale oil ( we didn’t have them) and the cheese naan tasted of gone cheddar as well.

They offer 10% discount for collection. On 2 separate occasions they told me the discount was applied, however, when I checked I realised that I did not get a discount. Due to them being economical with the truth I now order elsewhere.

Wow amazing value for money ,we got two starters a main a side and a rice all for under £20! We couldn’t even finish it all generous portions. It was delicious full of flavour excellent presentation and the meat was so tender and arrived piping hot! Think I’ve found my new favourite Indian takeaway in Biggleswade! Just lovely.

Ordered approx 5 passed 8, Saturday night, food estimated 8.45 to 9.15pm arrived about 20 - 25 passed 8. Food was boiling hot, predictable am I Chicken Korma was really soft chicken and beautifully sweet and lovely creamy velvet sauce, peswahi Naan Bread was exceptional and hot, love the red onion chutney and mint yoghurt dip with Poppadums. I definitely would and have ordered again.

Prdered the chicken tikka massala balti. No option given to choose rice or naan so i recieved neither, not even a call to ask. I work in an establishment that uses just eat and making calls to customers is simple. I called the restaurant and was told " well, our delivery driver is out so we cant help further now. Leave a comment online"

Ordered our food, a bottle of coke and a can. Food wasn’t nice at all. Couldn’t even deliver the drinks we ordered. When I called to ask where they were they said it would take 45 minutes then never bothered to show up! Very rude people with awful customer service and need better staff members. Their whole job is a takeaway service and they can’t even get that right.

The biryani was nice. The curry had sugar in it.Also ordered Sag paneer which was sweet and no paneer to be found in it.

A little disappointing, food lacked the usual taste that we normally experience when ordering from Raj

Fast and hot delivery but really disappointed to be honest.. unnecessarily hot (for a madras) to cover the lack of depth of flavour which was mainly curry powder and not much else. I’ve made better myself.

Early delivery, hot food and tasted great!

I am very pleased with the customer service at Raj. They delivered on time, early in fact Unfortunately I had an issue with my order and had to call the restaurant. The gentleman I spoke to and the delivery man were both great, understanding and very polite. They resolved my issue immediately. I can highly recommend this restaurant because of the customer service. When you have a business and something does not go to plan, good customer service can turn everything around and Raj Bengal demonstrated that. You can't go wrong with Raj Bengal, because they put things right. Thanks to the team @Raj!!
