Rainbow Kebab in Purbeck

This used to be great. Lovely pizzas and great chicken kebabs. We used to use them a lot as locals. I'm not sure whether it's changed hands or has a new manager, but now it is awful. Had a pizza a couple of months ago and wasn't great. Tonight, I just had a chicken kebab. It was basically stips of chicken (5) plonked onto a cold pitta. Literally about a teaspoon of lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber, and a quarter of a tomato. Chilli sauce, no coleslaw or sauces. Extra jalapeños were requested... I got 2 small ones. Sorry, we would like to support local but won't be bothering you again. What makes it worse is the fact prices have gone up!

After dropping a friend off down in town, (who incedently works at the dragon a few doors along). I thought that I would treat myself an my good lady to a bit of a treat. So I walked in and ordered a mixed kebab. After a expected wait, I gathered my order and headed home to enjoy. Once opened and dished out by my good lady, and looking forward to the ware, I sat down to devour the kebab. That is when the dissapointment hit! First of all the pita bread was so toasted and so crunchey, that it was impossable to fill! The said bread flew in many directions when attempting to bite into, & my enjoyment was minimal. There was a feeble amount of kebab meat, some wafer thin chicken and none of the advertised Kofti? The salad was pitiful and no chilli's? I will say that I do normally have my order delivered, and I can only asume that with my Geordie accent, the guy serving me, thought I was out of town? WRONG.

Ive already said that this place is bad but i keep going bk......Had food delivered last night was nice an hot on delivery within 20mins of eating we were all queing for the toilet to be sick 🤢 34£ down toilet never will I go back to rainbow again its the worst takeaway in swanage I'd keep away for your own health needs a suprise health check visit

Nice takeaway food. Not expensive. We had pizzas, kebabs, chips for the family and it was great. Perfect for when you can't be bothered to cook and also don't fancy spending a lot in a pub/restaurant either.

We bought our takeaway pizza from here twice. The pizza was very tasty both times. Staff on the phone and deliverers were polite and friendly. Slightly over the estimated delivery time on the second occasion and the ice cream was forgotten(!) The deliverer was very apologetic and went straight back to the shop to get it. It didn't really bother us and didn't spoil the meal. I feel they are still worthy of this four star view due to the pizza being so good (better than Pizza Hut pizzas in my view) and the friendly staff.

Very disappointed with the quality of food, burger and wraps are awful bread was soggy. Burger had so much ketchup in it the bread was squishy and wet burger had no flavour. Wrap had chewing chicken and old looking salad in it. sad to say the worst meal we have had all week whilst holidaying in this beautiful town of Swanage. Expensive awful food! Poor choice avoid, plenty of choice around go else where.

Me and my friend went here Friday Eve 17/3/23 Friendly service, great good. Will definitely return. Turkish Delight!
