Nice village / train station pub, good atmosphere, ample parking and friendly staff. I haven't tried the food here so I can't speak to quality.

1st visit for a couple of years. The decor has improved, nice atmosphere but was only there for a couple of hours. Will have to go again to confirm and that may take some time as there are other places to go

Have been popping in and out of this pub for many years, it's had more changes of management than a football club, but i think this time they have got it right!! Bitter London Pride was great!! Atmosphere was very pleasant and the pub has had a big Face lift. I will be going back very soon.

Very disappointed as this used to be a tremendous pub .... poor service and £4.80 for a pint of cider . Will not be returning. Regarding the above - pub has new owners now and it seems to be returning to how it was a few years ago. Early days but it looks promising.

New Manager is making progress with the refurbishment. Opening again soon...I am in the queue!

Good old friendly pub, great service

Nice friendly pub, its under new management, and they have built a smoked food restaurant at the back.

The pub has seemed to changed ownership or just had a massive overhaul. The decor in nice clean and bright with a country pub feel. A good selection of good tasting beers. There seems to be a lot of events going on inhe pub and now has sky an BT sports. Will be visiting more often.

Popped in while waiting for a train after a friends engagement party was pleasantly supprised very friendly local pub.

A really friendly place with good choice of drinks and really friendly staff and locals. Needs more support from the local community to assist in its resurgence.

My wife and I took on the lease of the Railway Tavern in Meopham, just under a month ago. A great pub very neglected and run down but with tons of potential so all I ask is before you look at its previous bad reviews, come and decide for yourself. My wife and I are trying to bring the pub back to its former glory but obviously need locals to be behind us so hope to see you for a pint soon

Very quiet. Don't know how they're managing, but friendly and I had a decent pint. 🍻

The lager was rubbish and almost the most expensive pint I had ever had. The Landlord said trade was very poor and I found out why to my cost. I won't be going back!
