The food was amazing and the customer service was excellent.

What can I say, absolutely amazing, Staff are extremely friendly & attentive. Atmosphere was good, had a fantastic meal. We had the Aberdeen Angus steak, bloomin onion (never seen anything like it), hummus. Didn’t have dessert as so full. We were celebrating our anniversary & at the end of our meal they brought us out chocolate fudge cake to share, such a lovely touch. They don’t serve alcohol, but this didn’t bother us as it wasn’t needed as the food was sooooo nice. Thankyou to Ronnie & all the staff for a wonderful meal & a lovely surprise of cake to help our celebration .

Beautiful food - especially the steak and kebabs! The staff is always very friendly and looks after us. It’s great for special occasions and treats as well as just dropping by for a casual evening meal out.

It’s not often that we venture out for a meal with our little one, as he is on the spectrum. However, with it being the Easter weekend and him being in such a good mood, we thought, "Let’s give it a go." I had previously visited Railway Grill with my brothers and remembered the food and service being excellent, so we decided to head there again. We arrived just after they opened on Easter Sunday and were greeted warmly with a pleasant smile. I informed the staff about my son's SEN needs, and they immediately reassured us with a kind "That is not a problem," which instantly put us at ease. We started with some nachos and hummus, followed by a Lamb Biryani, Ribeye Steak Dinner, Lamb Chops Dinner, and, with it being Sunday, I couldn't resist the Roast Rib Eye Dinner. I requested for my son's meal to come out alongside the starters, which they accommodated without hesitation. The starters arrived promptly, quickly followed by the Biryani. Everything was beautifully prepared and you could really tell it was freshly made. The bread was warm, soft, and absolutely delicious. The main courses took a little longer – likely because we were the first table and they were preparing the roast cuts for the day – but it was no issue at all. The Ribeye Steak was cooked to perfection, exactly medium as requested. The Lamb Chops were beautifully done, and the Roast Rib Eye Dinner was incredibly tasty. All the dishes were clearly prepared fresh and to a very high standard. Would I go again? Absolutely! The service was exceptional – nothing was too much trouble for them. My son made a bit of a mess with his rice, which I mentioned to the management, but they were more than happy for us to leave it as it was, showing such kindness and understanding. Thank you, Railway Grill – it was truly worth venturing out from Rossendale for such a wonderful experience!

Good place but extremely quiet for a Friday night. Food decent but too many cheeky hidden charges. Dined here when it opened was a lot better then. Steak was okish nothing wow.

Went for the first time today. Had the rib eye roast. Absolutely amazing. Good portion, lovely, fresh vegetables, succulent steak that was cooked to perfection. Really good price and non intrusive service. We’ll definitely go again 👍

A very clean, well laid out restaurant. Fabulous food. Steak cooked to perfection. Great selection of starters and plenty of choice for vegetarians throughout the menu. Delightful deserts and cocktails to choose from. Ronnie looked after us very well, with courtesy and good humour. I would recommend the Railway Grill.

This was our second family trip to Railway Grill and we had a great time. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. The staff were very patient with us, especially as we had three toddlers with us. Highly recommend this place!

Food was over an hour and 20 minutes late. Just eat app stated they had delivered my food ‘enjoy your food’ but I never received it.No answer from the restaurant. 20 minutes later i received a notification to tell me my order was out for delivery.

Quality is good but it’s the second time you have sent a mixed kebab without lamb on, and given me just chicken and Donna. Once, I accept can happen but twice is losing a customer.

Pretty standard, nothing to wow ! The seating area is nice . The waiter was pleasant. But I had to hurry him a couple of times . Meal ordered fattouse salad and asked for pomegranate to be added. He's not confirmed he heard me properly and added parmesan 🤦🏻‍♀️ Colleagues steak over done . They did make her another one , the only thing was we ate our meals separately at different times. But all in all was nice . 6/10, I'm not sure i would return

Haven’t had a good steak in a long time, normally have to travel from Oldham to Manchester or London but definitely a really great place for steak, seasoning was on point, could eat the mash and veg on its own 👌

Had a lovely meal and evening tonight with my work colleagues/friends there was 15 of us in total so as you can imagine way too many dishes were chosen to review each one individually, the sharing platters were popular as was the curries and burgers and let's not forget the blooming onion which was delicious, everyone enjoyed themselves and the food was amazing, the price very reasonable, the restaurant itself is lovely and creates a nice atmosphere and the staff very polite and accomadating and really friendly especially Ronnie who made sure that service went smoothly and his interaction with guest was second to none so to speak, I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant to everyone, thank you to the staff for the lovely food and amazing service xx

The service and atmosphere was 10/10 but the food lacked in taste which let the place down. Also upon arriving we were told the menu on Google was for takeaway and they had a seperate dining in menu. . The chicken steak didn't have much flavour and only came with 1 side and salad so if you wanted roast veg or mash for example that would be extra but is normally included in most food establishments. All in all it'd be an amazing place if the food had more flavour and love poured into it.

Wow absolutely beautiful we don't leave reviews but this is needed we had a take away ordered off just eat and me and my husband loved we googled you and seen we can sit in so thats what we will be doing next time absolutely beautiful food

First time ordering and wow absolutely beautiful I can't wait try the rest of the menu. we had pizza chips and dip (dip was so nice garlic & spicy) then we also had chicken biryani with the yogert dip and wow again I wish I could buy it in bulk to keep in the fridge me and my husband don't leave reviews but this needed one. we'll done guys and will be ordering again.

Good food, good service and ambiance. Tasty kebab, vegetables were grilled to perfection. Super tasty. Nice Egyptian dessert to wrap up with. We'll be back again to try more on the menu. Bloomin' Onion, Bloomin' marvellous but recommend to share. Thanks to Ronnie for excellent service.

Sorry to leave this review as service was good and waiters were very friendly. Sadly food lacks that oomph. id say its standard fare which is available in most takeaways. based on the social media pics and reviews online the food quality in terms of taste and execution didnt match. i hope the owners take this feedback as a means to improve what could otherwise have been an amazing experience. sadly i will not be visiting again.
