Raffos Fish & Chips in Belfast

No delivery driver on a Saturday get on Deliveroo or something

Was all very nice but only got 1 tub off curry and I paid and ordered 2. Great tasting food.

First time we've ordered from Raffos, will definitely order again food was delicious! Southern fried chicken burgers where massive and the chicken gravy chips were great!!

Best Chippy about , had from it 3 times this week now and love everything from the chips to the southern fried chicken , deffo without doubt the best chippy in a long time

40 mins standing in a empty shop ,for a burger and a steak baguette, when I finally got it, the baguette was raw.

The fish did not appear to be fresh and was a funny colour

Ordered online they took my money, got no order and 3 days later I'm still waiting on refund as fone is constantly engaged tried texting but got ignored!

Lots of bad reviews on here - most of which relate to home delivery orders. As someone who frequently calls into the shop itself, I will simply put it out there that the chips are great, the burgers are very good and the fish are amazing. It is also cheaper than pretty much everywhere else. My only gripe is that it is always busy and, more often than not, I am usually watching the staff putting home delivery orders together while a crowd of us who are actually in the shop have to wait. So if you're someone that orders from home and you aren't pleased, then great. Please order from somewhere else and maybe I will my food a little bit quicker.

Battered sauage was soggy, chips were the worst I have had from a chippy they looked they had literally been dipped in the fryer and took straight back out. Ordered a sweet curry dip and got gravy.

Never leave reviews but this place is disgusting. Waited the guts of 2 hours on a delivery and we live a 5 minute walk away. Said they had no drivers but were happy to take the order in the first place? Was ready to eat anything after 2 hours but big lumps in the curry and chips were freezing. Absolute waste of time and money and staff were very rude given the circumstances. Wasn’t able to tell them everything I was returning on the phone as I felt rushed and spoken down to as they were quick to jump to their own defence so they came down with £6 for a chip and curry (faster than the initial delivery.) Wont be ordering again.

The culinary offerings were of an unacceptably low standard. The curry exhibited an unusual and unpleasant flavor profile, while the battered sausages disintegrated upon attempted extraction from their packaging.

Came really fast and the food was really hot and very tasty. Delivery was also super nice, it’s always my go-to chippy when I don’t fancy cooking.

the fish and chips were pure rubber I don't even know how you can manage that taste like it had been sitting in the shop being keep warm for a long time it's ridiculous that anyone can charge money for food like that

I made an order on 18th Feb (via their app), didn’t receive the food but still charged. Tried calling since then with no answer.

Bought a pastie supper £6.50 Bloody terrible it wouldn't feed 2 people how can you call it a supper ?? Wouldn't recommend buying chips or anything else definitely won't be back ....

Usually the fish white and beautiful but tonight it was awful it was like 2 flat fish put together then battered and it had a big hard spin in it the Peppered sauce was like water and the pasty was way over cooked. So disappointing

Now when I say extra salt and vinegar that is what I mean wow outstanding big massive fish and I mean big could have fed a family of five with 2 fish . Amazing acc gonna order another right now

Didn’t receive my drink in which I paid for. Also felt like my chicken pieces were dry as sh** feel like had been sitting out for hours

I ordered sliced chicken and chips with onions and gravy. Very little of it left, which is saying something considering the size of the portion. Also arrived about 30 minutes early, very much appreciated.

Of the two times I have ordered fish at this place, twice they had no fish. Once they had fish bites. But no fish. Second time they had neither fish nor fish bites. It’s just a fishy chippy-type place that never seems to have fish. What type of place has fish bites but no fish? How many of us talk about how we’d love a fish bites supper? Ack. It’s just not right. I give up. Five days after my order was cancelled, I've had to get on to the order app to see where my £15 refund is.

Would usually get out of here once or twice a week. Had food delivered on Friday night. Paid at the door (normally pay by card when ordering) Food was lovely as usual. An hour or so later I got a phone call from the driver saying I never paid for my food (even though I have cctv of him putting the money in his pocket) continued to slabber down the phone to me and ask "is that how your going to carry on", repeatedly told him I handed him the money. He hung up and then a girl from the shop rang again accusing me of not paying for my food and questioned why I was checking my cctv if I had paid. Obviously didn't believe I had paid so was gathering video evidence. The owner or manager then came on and apologised as it had all been a mistake. Still absolutely disgusted how I was treated. Definitely won't be ordering again. Disgusted.

Food was greasy and cold. Chicken was rubbery and oozing with grease. Won't be ordering again. Waste of money. Threw it out.

Wait over two hours for two curry chips and it was stone cold I live 5 minutes away Im really sick at the moment trying to ring the shop have the phone turned off won't be getting again. If I had the energy to go up to the shop I'd be in jail

Absolutely disgusting, buger arrived late, cold and soggy. Burgers were not boxed and left to get cold in paper. Lettuce was put on with a salt shaker and looked off.

Food was cold. Really disappointed as their food is great

Waiting over an hour for delivery and the chips are hard and cold as if they have been frozen. Your supposed to flip the pasty so it dosent stick to the paper.

First time Iv tried here in about 6 months as they normally forget stuff off my order when I order in the shop. The order Came on time (an hour after order) the meal was stone cold, forgot to send fish with my order, but sent it up after I contacted them. Total waste of money, will never order from here again.

One of the fish had way to much batter and one if the taco chips had a fly in it.

Great burger. Making a small suggestion of offering a small chip on your menu as your chip portion are too big for me personally. Many thanks for the great food

Chips were horrible, obviously cooked with fish as they just tasted like fish, went straight in the bin.

In this instance just eat quoted an hour and 45 mins wait for a chip. I was due to be somewhere in 45 mins. So I called up and the gentleman advised that he’d get it packed up and sent out right away! (Mind you it’s 20 mins walk from my house so I was being lazy). Well done guys! Always brilliant!

Probably the best chicken burger I've ever had. The only issue is that I ordered taco sauce but it came with what I think was mayo or garlic mayo.. either way it was nice just that one thing.

Average. Food was ok, ordered a large hotdog among other food, got home and the "hotdog" was 2 sausages cut in half and stuffed into a burger bap!! At least be upfront with your customers, if you don't have something or have run out, tell me so I have an option to order something different! Really disappointed, as I hadn't eaten much all day and was looking forward to a chippy. Advice :- double check your order before you leave the shop

Chippys aren' worth the money now

Good food as always, delivery guy deserves a raise.

Could do with some descriptions on the menu items. I didn't know what the Mexican chips were going to be. I thought it was maybe going to be a something more like a spice bag rather than chips with a slab of tasteless cheese on chips in a soup of sweet chilli sauce. Wouldn't get that again. Chips and burger were good though. Chicken bites were a good portion but maybe too much batter for me.

Never again, chicken Goujons had a very weird taste (binned). Gravy was freezing and VERY LUMPY (binned) & the chips were very greasy & just about cooked. Food was inedible this time.

Taco chip tasted abit odd, cheese and meat were lumpy. Only brought 1 drink. Grease was also pouring out into wrapper.

Everything great except didn't get large hotdog but got sausage bap not the same as I wanted or ordered maybe get it next time I order fingers crossed lol

We paid £4.00 for a kids sausage meal which was tiny and included the smallest single sausage I've ever seen... No beans or drink. Total rip off.
