Raees in South Ribble

This place gone down to the hill, used to be one if the best place now one of the worse one around. Will never gonna go back, foods running out no topping up, asked few times totally ignored, paid for the drink again no topping up after finishes, pakkura was oili.

Great for all the family. Kids loved it, especially the Jelly and Ice-Cream. Friendly staff. Plenty of food to choose from and tasty.

I take Mrs and my daughter and we have enjoyed food , very testy i try small amount of food defrent disease and I recommend this restaurant very friendly staff and help your self service

At first glance a lovely establishment however when visiting for the first time it did show that it was a matter of style over substance. Unfortunately we attended raees and was met with unfriendly staff who were dictating where we went and how long we could stay for. We would understand in most instances but delivery is important. We felt unwelcome. We called prior to our arrival and they were happy for our walk in it seemed so we didn’t understand why. For a large table we would expect better care. The structure of the service felt intimidating in a way where staff overlook from the sidelines watching you eat. Quite off-putting. The food was relatively nice however I can’t say I ate much as there was not much choice. The drinks choices poor and budget along with the desserts. We couldn’t leave quick enough. Unfortunately not worth the money. Service needs a lot of work. All you can eat buffets that don’t feel scrimped on would be better. Try Azuma in Preston.

Went with my dad recently. We both enjoyed it. Easy to find, place was clean and nice selection of food to choose from.

Ordered and paid online, arrived 10pm, advertised as open until 11pm, no lights on, doors locked, no answer upon knocking, tried the phone number on Google.... its the phone number for Lancashire police, found another number that's no longer in service. Total CON

Clean the plates, knives, forks, glasses - the whole restaurant; it's an actual insult to call it a restaurant. Flies and mosquitoes everywhere. No tissues. No refund. Cold food. Utter filth and disgusting - other people left after they saw also.

We have been to several buffets and in my opinion ranks last. Limited choice. Labels need to be in English as couldn't tell what meat/fish is in each. Salad bar was ok.... Tomatoes looked like ones you find what have been whoops and lettuce had brown bits in. Chips was limp. Curry was ok but limited choice. Soft drinks are all like smart price. Pudding choices are jelly or custard and jelly. There is ice-cream behind counter which they give you 1 scoop, but it's nice ice-cream. They do a mega sweet donut syrup thing as well. Toilets...OMG. disgusting. Someone had exploded big time all over one toilet. Next toilet had wet through bog roll you can't even use. 3rd was out of order. Mens had no loo roll and was filthy No one used masks entering or whilst waking around. 2/10 score from me.

Went to celebrate my neice birthday food was brilliant staff was very helpful can’t fault anything thy made it more special for her by getting a chocolate cake and singing birthday song thank u Raees for making it so special for the little one

A friend suggested that we try this venue so we travelled from Southport and we certainly weren’t disappointed - The owner introduced himself ( moh I think ) and he so nice and friendly and so we’re all his staff, nothing was to much for them , the food was amazing , it was a buffet style and everything was fresh and full , lots off choice , lovely starter , mains and desserts , we’ll definitely be returning

The food was really nice. Briani and lamb curry was tremendous. Mohsin was very helpful too. Will definitely visit again soon. Thanks to the chefs working on 20/5/21. Thank you for helping with the birthday party.

Since the death of my partner I decided not to cook a meal on a Sunday and I've tried many local restauarant takeaways and trying to keep it local I thought Raees at Higher Walton would be ok as it seemed to offer a good choice... how wrong I was the soup I had was awful and the Crispy Chilli Chicken defied all logic of being crispy, it was terrible. At 77 I have to be careful what I eat and with my recent loss very sad too. How can this restaurant exist, doesn't deserve to. Will I use it again.... not bloody likely
