Radhuni Indian Restaurant in Newtownabbey

Had friends over from England at the weekend and decided to give this place a try. It is amazing the curries were so fresh and the flavours were amazing. The Garlic,Chili and Coriander nan is a must. Top grub at a decent price. Will be back

Ordered food off just eat (I know it's a 3rd party) never had an issue before. Only reason I ordered off them is because the place only takes cash when ordering directly. Anyway I placed an order after the way home from work. As I was not home they tried to deliver. As I was not home and it was late at night (11pm) the delivery person did not leave it at the door like every other company I have ordered from before. The delivery person did try to call me but because I was on the way home from work I had no signal where I was and only got the missed calls later on. When I called him back I asked him why he did not leave at the door like every other company as it was pre paid to my address. His response was that because somebody else said before that he delivered and didn't receive the order. Is that not why you take photos after you deliver? Either he thought that because he tried to call me or he is new that the food was his because he tried to call and I didn't answer. Regards I had pre paid for this at my address. Now just eat are making this hard for me to get my money back and now I have to try and order from somewhere else at 1130pm and pay more money for something I prepaid for. When I called the place they said they were closing and there is nothing they can do until tomorrow. From now on I will order off different Indian food places in the area and there is plenty ie mama masala, Indian ocean etc

Food is always top notch from here, everything is made fresh and they don't shy away from using the best ingredients and it shows. The guys take pride in the food they send out. The chicken Pathia is out of this world and u would highly recommend if you like something sweet but spicy. A++++++ gents and keep up the good work.

The plain nan bread is soo good, and garlic and house sauce it so tasty. Chicken pakora in a kebab is not what you expect, it's doesn't have great flavour and it's square bits of chicken with no batter. I would try other dishes.

Food came an hour and 40 minutes after it was ordered and I was only ordering a kebab. It was cold and unenjoyable. Never again.

Just an ok mixed kebab looked a lot better than it tasted Def had better but also had worse not expensive at £7.50

Absolutely delicious! So flavoursome and just the right amount of spice! Recommend the Monkfish Supreme and the Chicken Tikka Masala 😊

Ordered a meal deal for two, good value for money. 2 starters, garlic mushrooms and tandoori mixed starter, very tasty, real nice, thoroughly enjoyed them both. 2 main, both chicken kormas with pilau rice. Rice was great, chicken was great, unfortunately were it went wrong is the korma sauce. I suspect that the particular batch of sauce made that night was made incorrectly (im not a chef this is just a guess). The korma sauce had no flavour of coconut nor was it sweet. It was incredibly salty, so much so that I suspect that maybe there was a mix up between sugar and salt (and im not even joking when I say that) We couldnt eat it. We ended up fishing the chicken out of the sauce and salvaging what we could. Again, I hope it was a simple mistake. But it was a let down to say the least.

Very tasty Indian dishes and good service

Despite living over 3 miles from here it's my go to takeaway for date night on the sofa. I usually click and collect to avoid waiting for delivery. Monkfish starter and Lamb Satkori are really delicious

I've eaten food from Radhuni several times. It really is delicious and the staff are professional and friendly. Since lockdown I've had it delivered. It's always hot and on time.

Ordered for collection but was met by very rude customer service. Won’t be back. The young boy on the counter was very polite but the older gentlemen was very rude and dismissive over a simple question.

I never tried indian dishes until tonight. I ordered Saag Aloo it was so nice full of vegetables with a slight kick and the sauce was lovely. I will definitely be ordering it again

Food here is fantastic!!!!!! Best currys in Newtownabbey by a long mile!!!!! Never once had a bad meal, always perfect, sadly tho sometimes the service is not so great, but worth it for the food at the end of the day. Wish the prices were slightly better as last price hike has stopped us getting as many orders as its simply too dear for a family take-away regularly

Usually had good food from here but had delivery tonight and potatoes in dish were raw. Called back and didn't really help much offered dish of potatoes next time not good enough very disappointed and wont use again

Only order if you are not hungry! My order was promised in 30 minutes - 1.hour and 35 minutes later it hadn't arrived, Restaurant said it was busy, I totally get that but tell me the delivery time when I order!. My meal for one wad £19 for a main course and chips.- will not order again..

Probably one of the worst Indian takeaway meals I've had, the currys were bland with little meat and watery sauce. Overpriced. Tried once and wouldn't go back.

Literally sitting here , watching a member of staff telling people to go to Indian Ocean, cursing and slaming money into the till and cursing at other members of staff as she is asked to do things, so unprofessional its a disgrace.

The Radhuni has, for a long time now, been my go to place for Indian food in the area, for both takeaway and sit-in. I do consider myself to have a decent knowledge of Indian food, having been to several proper Balti houses in Birmingham over the years, so I was delighted to have found a place so close to home that generally delivers to my expectations. Last night however, I ordered for myslef and my wife, being very specific about what we both wanted. When the meals arrived, I must state that there wwas nothing wrong with the quality of the food but when we both tasted our mains, my wife's dish was a sweet tasting curry( not what we had ordered ) and despite asking for my Balti dish to be made "Vindaloo hit" ( the girl on the phone even read back my order as extra hot) there was little or no heat in my dish, to my disappointment. My problem lies with the fact that when I called to ask if we had been sent the wrong order, the phone call from the manager that was promised never came. We had no choice other than to go ahead and eat our meal. Like I say, I cannot fault the quality of the food but to pay almost £30 for 2 mains with Pilau Rice and a couple of Poppodoms with dips, at the very least I would have expected some explanation from the place as to how my dishes were incorrect. I have seen a few other reviews stating similar issues, so I know I'm certainly not alone here. With this in mind, I may have to consider using somewhere else, as I didn't appreciate being left hanging like that. I fully understand that it's a busy environment but having worked in sales all of my life, ensuring customer satisfaction has got to be the key to the long term success of any business. Overall good quality food but the wrong order and no follow up explanation from the business.

Radhuni is great for both takeaway and to sit in. The restaurant is small but the menu has a lot of variety and is great value for money. Restaurant is also BYO with no corkage!

All Takeaways I’ve had are excellent can’t comment on the restaurant side of things but the radhuni special kebab is to die for.

Odered food through "Just eat"..Tandoori chicken main..extra keema nan...the keema certainly wasnt tandoori mince..more like kebab meat that looked someone had been sick in it...The tandoori chicvken was half cooked...which Ihad to finish off in the oven...and the delivery driver left me £2 short...blaming the last customer on doing him...Is that my fault. Avoid Like the Plague...will also be complaining to Just Eat as well

Sat in and had meal last week & it was gorgeous!! Inner chicken salan but went back this week for takeaway and paid the same as what pay to sit in and the meal was nothing like what I had the week before !! The chicken was not inner chicken and no bullet Chili’s !! Hardly any chicken at all and the tubs where only half full !! Very disappointed will not be getting takeaway again from here

The food here is great however when sitting in for food the place is freezing!! Me and friends had to eat with our coats on which isn't great on a night out! The waiter could be friendlier and some music wouldn't go amiss.

Great food, would return again. Staff were courteous and attentive. Meal took slightly longer to arrive than you would expect (though was a Friday night). We were sat near the door which was being opened closed a lot so it was cold. Price was very reasonable!

Having previously gave this place top marks I'm afraid now it's terrible, stood listening to the delivery man telling the staff that he couldn't take food for a delivery that had been sitting out for over an hour. Avoid

Tarka dahl was foul. Some stone hard lentils. Pilau rice was warery and nan was stale. I never review food but it was bad.

First time getting from here. Food was very nice however as other people seem to find the quanties are poor, not particularly warm. We also ordered and paid for pesharmi naan but we got given plain naan. Was still nice but seems to be a reoccurring theme with this place. Wouldn't order from.here again because of that.

All good except the quantity.. it’s the usual takeaway plastic boxes we get from all restaurants - the ones from Radhuni we got was half filled. for the price we paid it should be fully filled that’s we thought.

Food was cold when it arrived. Ordered a prawn starter. Only had 2 prawn. Definitely not value for money. Both containers for the main course were only half full and more sauce than meat. The pilau rice, although tasting nice was all clumped and soggy. Not the best meal ive had.

arrived super fast and the chicken and prawn was melt in your mouth tasty as per usual! never fails to disappoint!

Fairly average indian...vegetable pakora starters ok, vegetable saag main dish very oily. Reasonable prices but quality not as good as competitors.

Me and my boyfriend order a takeaway from here almost every Saturday night and the food is always delicious. However more often than not over the last few weeks there have been continuous mistakes made with our order. On a few occasions they have forgotten parts of our order meaning we have had to drive back (we don't live close by) or else go without (after we've paid for it). The latest incident occurred this weekend when my boyfriend arrived to collect our order and they had forgotten our side of chips so he had to wait for them to be cooked. Then on returning home we realised they had given us someone else's order. When he called them, the member of staff asked him "what he wanted him to do?" and "could he come in and speak to him about it as they were quite busy". As I say, the food here is really tasty but mistakes like this and customer service like that are really letting them down. Especially with the money you are paying for a takeaway. If I was basing the review on the food alone I would have given 5 stars but these slip ups have dropped it down to a 3.

Chicken pakora soggy. Very little sauce. Ordered drink which did not come with order. Called and was advised it would be an hour. Two and a half hours later and still no drink.

I do tend to try other places, always seem to come back here. the best chicken tikka Bhuna about!

Have sat in radhuni and enjoyed food tonight had takeaway.food and was not disappointed. Food arrived much quicker than quoted and order was correct and food was delicious. I recommend this Indian restaurant over any others in the area for price and quality of food

Nunca tuve ningún problema con mi pedido y siempre ha sido delicioso, tiene la mejor salsa de ajo literalmente que he probado, así que hazte un favor y si te gusta la salsa de ajo. Servicio rápido y barato con una cocina semi-abierta en la cual puedes ver el chef prepara su comida.

Pedir comida de Radhuni en comer solo, Mi comida estaba bien me dieron el Pollo Korma, arroz y pan naan. Sin embargo, dieron a mi novio la parrillada mixta, pan Naan y chips; mientras él estaba comiendo su pan naan él poco en algo difícil, así que tuvo que salir de su comida y spit había una piedra mezcladas con su pan! Que pude haber roto su diente! Yo se que sonaba en la mañana ya están cerrados ahora y estaré lejos de este lugar.

Food was not the best curry I have eaten. It was delivered very quick but the delivery driver was obviously in a hurry. He knocked the door and the time it took me to travel about 20 feet he had knocked it again. He was quiet rude saying "there is your food" sorry but I don't say that to my customers.

Food arrived half an hour before scheduled delivery time. Scheduled a time for a reason!! At least half the chips were hard and naam bread was extremely soggy. Not on usual form tonight.

If I could give it 0 I would. Food was terrible and when restaurant contacted wanted nothing to do with it. Many other better restaurants in this area for this type of food. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Food took far to long to arrive. Cold on arrival, not happy. Put sauce on order when I did not ask for it small portions of food for price. Unfortunately Can not read simple instructions would not order again. Seems everyone has the same issues. Waste of £14

Decidimos comer aquí una noche de la oportunidad y mi amigo y yo disfrutamos mucho nos convertimos. Mucho mejor que los restaurantes indios más conocidos en Glengormley. El servicio es amable aunque un poco lento, pero es de esperar ya que es solo un pequeño y único camarero que trabaja. Recomiendo el pan kebab para empezar! pata Y el jalfrezi es fuera de este mundo
