Used to love coming here , we have come with the grandchildren for their lessons for 4 years . From last week we have a young female staff member , now know she is the team leader , who was constantly eating and never washed her hands before serving customers with food . Then we had a male ( mature) who was picking his nose handling the ice creams then putting cakes out and taking bread out of packets . Never washed his hands ! Sorry but now refusing to purchase any food or drink as hygiene rating certainly doesn’t reflect the cleanliness or any food hygiene certificate these two staff members have . There is only one young man who seems to take hygiene and keeping the place clean and tidy seriously .

The food is very bad and cheap. Pizzas are full of cheese and oil, sandwiches are very bad and the place looks absolutely horrible and dirty. Staff is not friendly at all and the customer service is poor.

The inside of the cafe was closed, and limited seating outside, the tables were disgraceful, and although a staff member was sitting inside no attempt was made to clean the tables which in this situation is important. When we requested our table to be cleaned it was, but the other tables left dirty, low standards.

We stopped by the cafe on a busy day this Summer while in Queens Park. There was a pretty big queue as it was busy but staff got through it quickly and were helpful and friendly. We had pizza followed by ice-creams and it was all lovely. We really enjoyed it and it came out quickly also. The Bakewell tart ice-cream is a MUST, it’s amazing. Lovely little sand pit and play area outside for the kids too.

I hate that I’m submitting this but I’m hopeful the management will take note. I was very disappointed with this bistro that boasts to serve authentic Italian pizza. First of all, the state of the place is terrible, dirty dishes left everywhere with no signs of staff willing to clear up, second, the staff are rude, obnoxious and oblivious to how to operate a bar, I don’t get why if there is a large que you’d have 2 members of staff serving one customer at a time? Third, the wait for food is shocking, 40 minutes for pizza? It shouldn’t take that long at all, and even if there was issues in the kitchen, it would of been nice to be told and apologies be given, fourth, and this is not forgivable, raw dough......even after waiting 40 minutes for pizza, when it arrived the dough was raw, I’ve been cooking pizza dough for years, I know a good crust/sauce, but when it arrived on my table (with no apologies for the wait) it looked shocking, I ordered a meat feast for myself and a margarita for my 5 year old, the margarita was oily, I don’t understand how but it was, I’m not sure if the chef is shockingly bad or if the management just buy cheap crap ingredients but cheap (clearly from frozen) sausages that you’d expect from a cheap ass burger van shouldn’t be found on a (authentic as advertised) pizza, the raw crust was just terrible, the sauce wasn’t anything other than tinned tomato with whatever cheap ass dried herb they could find, I took both pizzas back for a refund, the staff/manager just said that their pizza dough is always soft!!!!!!!!!what the hell, it’s raw, not soft. Needless to say I got my refund as well as the worst experience of my life. The owners need to hang their heads in shame, either turn the place into a refreshments and ice cream hall (which I’ve eaten their ice creams for years and loved) or close their doors till they train their staff/chefs properly. They need to invest heavily in this place, if they do, this could be an amazing venue for food and family, yes serve amazing quality pizza, yes serve amazing burgers and sandwiches (which I must add.....the family opposite me had to complain about there cheese and onion sandwiches, how the hell you mess that up is beyond me) yes invest in staff training, introduce a nice uniform, take them to a great pizza place to show them how service should be, I doubt the management eat here at all. This place has the potential to be something great. At the end of the day, the park attracts tourists and locals alike, it’s just embarrassing that is what people get to experience, we all know we can do better, Get it sorted. Until then, I’ll take my own sandwiches.

Booked a meal for 7:15 pm tonight. Got there. Shut. No contact from them but their Facebook page says that it is closed for a refurbishment. Didn't look like that. No sign of a refurbishment at all. Gone bust hopefully. Always been a problem at Nonnas. W☆☆☆kers.

I'm not sure why it is like a fine dine restaurant. I wish there were negative reviews to give. Firstly, a restaurant like this the service is appalling. You need to keep calling the waiter. Which is not a big issue. But when your restaurant is only 30% full, how does it take 15 minutes to bring drinks and 50 minutes to bring your food. It looked like all staff were very lethargic. The worst part was the menu. When your dish says 'Gnocchi Al Pesto' and the description says it's made with Pesto sauce, you would expect to have a Pesto taste in your dish. But the dish came with tangy tomato sauce, which tasted nothing close to Pesto. When mentioning to the manager, she was adamant that the menu mentions Tomato, so Pesto sauce is mixed with tomato. It doesn't make up to your taste, but they never had complaints. I explained that your dish name and description mention Pesto and Pesto sauce. So, as any normal customer, i ordered a dish thinking to be tasting like Pesto. But she was adamant that they couldn't really do anything regarding it and won't replace the meal and would charge me. Worthless argument and not ready to serve customers. She was pretending as if i had never had a dish containing Pesto or didn't know what it was. She didn't even try to compensate or offer anything to make it. Worst service and experience ever. In the end, I had to take the dish home in a container. Please look at the pictures below what you had given and what exactly the dish should be like. Other food was average and overpriced.
