This hotel is a hidden gem. An older but well preserved hotel with the feeling of being home. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. We were on a house hunting trip. While Exeter will not be our next home city, the trip was a success in part because of this lovely hotel. The staff are well trained. Friendly and caring people who really care about you as their guest. The breakfast is way ahead of any other hotel we have been to in many years.

15 minute walk away from Exeter town centre so very quiet and easily accessible, spacious reception area, meal area and bar area, easy and quick to check in, staff are friendly, happy and helpful, the whole place is clean tidy and tidy, the room I had was also clean and tidy and spacious, WiFi is easily accessible in every part of the hotel, they have sky TV and the usual condiments like tea, coffee etc..... including decaf, breakfast options took me by surprise with so many different options, I loved this place and will definitely choose this place again if I visit Exeter again in the future.

We can't speak highly enough about our stay at Queens Court Hotel. It's a very short walk from Exeter Central train station and the town centre is less than a ten minutes walk from the hotel. We arrived much earlier than we could check in but Marek kindly arranged for us to leave our luggage and when the room was ready our things were placed in the room for us. From our arrival we were made to feel really welcome and you could feel there was something special about the hotel. When we did check in much later in the day it was really quick and easy before heading to our room on the third floor. We did go into the bar later in the day for a drink and found it with a great selection of drinks very reasonably priced. We both slept very well, in the spacious room with an en suite bathroom. The next morning we both had a full English breakfast which was really nice accompanied by hot coffee ice cold orange juice. On checking out we were again made to feel very welcome and the nice thing was nothing was ever too much to help. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

I had a brilliant stay at Queens Court. The staff were welcoming and had lots of information available about travel around Exeter. I was in a room on the top floor and found it clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and well kept. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was brilliant, the vegetarian full English was amazing, and the continental selection was lovely. If I am every in Exeter again, I will definitely be staying here again!

We stay here when dropping off or picking up our son from university. It is conveniently located towards the city centre without actually having to be right in the city itself. The city centre is within walking distance so no problems getting to somewhere to eat and we can also walk to the church my son attends on Sunday morning. Parking can be interesting but there is a pay parking opposite the hotel that isn't too expensive. The hotel sells street parking permits from midday to midday which may fit in with your stay but there is no guarantee of a space. The hotel itself is quiet and comfortable but a little tired. Nothing really to complain about. The double beds would be nicer to be king size or bigger. The bar is small but priced very well, not your normal hotel mark up. Breakfast is excellent with a good set of hot options. On a recent stay they let our son join us for breakfast as if a guest. And this brings me to a highlight of our stay which is the staff. OK, this was a repeat stay for us but we have never had an issue with any of the staff. Always polite and friendly. We will be returning a couple more times at least, our son is now approaching his last year as an undergraduate, we will have to see what happens after graduating.

We went to the stand off for a birthday meal. It was on a Sunday and we all had the Sunday roast lunch which was excellent. The food was served quickly and vegetables and gravy were all served on the side excellently presented. The selection of meat and alternative meals provided good selection.

GREGGS AT SIDWELL STREET. EXETER. Today at 1.20pm I, my wife and our special needs emotional support dog, went into order and eat. I Sat down as normal . Wife to order. SIGN IN DOOR ASSISTANCE DOGS OK as before ate. Counterstaff boy came over saying NO DOGS ALLOWED. I showed my certified support dog card as advised from the hospital And asked to see the manager. HE SAID I AM THE MANAGER. HE WAS COMPLETELY RUDE. MY wife went to the ordering dept for manager and was totally ignored and rude. The first contact supp.manager was hiding in the back room calling his manager. A TOTAL LIAR. We were shoed out of the premises. There behaviour was totally unacceptable and illegal.

Awful service. Walked in with 8 of my friends. Got refused service because we were a group of 20+ year olds. Said it was illegal for us to go in. Horrible staff, never going back back.
