The food here is absolutely disgusting we had onion soup, and it was a bowl of pepper. Our grandson had chicken nuggets and chips, and he would not eat the chicken I tasted one and it was rotten .

Food was delicious, portions were big. The decoration was very cute with the flowers everywhere.

Food was good. Let down by grubby decor (seats look very dirty)

Called in this evening for a pint. The barman’s (ginger guy with a beard) opening shot was ‘it’s last orders’. It was 445pm! He went on to say ‘I’ll serve you a drink but that’s it…’. No hello, no chat whatsoever. Disgraceful customer service. I hate to think what foreign visitors must think. I think he might need a refresher course at the Charm School.

I love this restaurant but on Friday it was so cold. I think they had the air conditioning blowing out cold air. It was so cold I had to eat my meal with my coat on. Staff lovely, food excellent 👌 👍

Nothing really to complain about, typical pub grub. The lasagne was really good though. We did have an issue with our drinks but this was quickly rectified.

Came to visit during a month off, ciara was absolutely fantastic and was able to recommend us spots to visit as she was from back home. Highly recommend for the food, drinks and the hospitality!! Highly recommend asking for Ciara to anyone who visits ! She’ll go above and beyond for everyone

I got the vegetable soup which was tasty water when I told told the waiter there was a lack of vegetables he replied do you think so and that was it my wife got the chicken stack which the pepper sauce was so overwhelming you couldn't taste anything else overall was not a good experience

Been before and had lovely experience with previous staff. Was in today and accused of not paying for food. Receipt pointed at us and a woman shouting “hey hey!” And glaring at us as we were waving good bye. We were confused as we had paid the staff member behind her a minute before. Continued to accuse us of not paying and once confusion was sorted did not apologies or even say goodbye just pulled receipt away and turned her back on us. Will not be back. Soo snobby when your staff can’t even crack a smile, miserable. Plus imagine charging 9 quid for frozen wings out of the Asian supermarket.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food great have never had a bad experience. Give it a go if your in Belfast well worth a try.

Called in on a Thursday afternoon about 4ish, wasn't too busy. Nice chilled bar. Oh my Lord.....the peppered chicken stack was just delicious. Couldn't finish it, portion was massive. The steak mum had was absolutely cooked to perfection. 100% recommend this wee gem in Queens Arcade. x

I always call here for my lunch when I'm in Belfast, food great quality and very reasonably priced, lovely atmosphere. Staff are so helpful, definitely worth a visit.

Over priced .Unimaginative Menu. Only one item.on the menu apart from a starter of onion rings was Chilli Noodles,which were actially NOT noodles but linguine with added slightly burnt peppers swimming in a heavy oil soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce ( yes all of them) So heavy and oily it took me until evening to.lose the taste .Too expensive..even if it was HALF the £14 price tag

Good service, good food and nice people

Have used this place before and got an excellent meal ,BUT, arrived at lunch time greeted shown to a table, served two drinks, myself and my wife, took our food order ,then ignored for nearly an hour,we watched as all around us were served. I quietly walked up to the bar,after the two waitresses finished their conversation, they were gobsmacked to find we were leaving, NOT SERVED, the only excuse was ,if you're in again see me !! I THINK I'LL JUST GO ELSEWHERE !!

We had a family day out in Belfast on Saturday, we ate at queens bar, the staff were very attentive and even with a 10-15 mins wait for a table we were offered a seat at the bar and the food was delicious I would highly recommend 😋😁

Yummy lasagne. Great service. Good company 😁. Stayed on after lunch for drinks with friends. Lovely atmosphere.

Went here for lunch. We always like to try somewhere different and this place is always packed. We were early today so got a table straight away. I had the special which was Seafood Chowder and my wife had the Lasagne. Both meals were superb. The lasagne was tasty and well presented and the Seafood Chowder was easily the best I've ever had. My wife had a soda water and lime and I had half a Guinness which was excellent too. Will definitely look for another empty table next time.

We walked and sat at the bar in an otherwise empty place and were completely ignored. Stuck up doesn’t come close to describing it. I am in fact the 14th Earl of Shaftesbury so the joke’s on them :)

Worst burger ever. Dry, dry, dry. Fish was dry. Frites where soaking in grease. Very bad experience.

The burger in a Belfast bap is great!

We've eaten here many times pre lock down and the steaks were always good quality but we called today and they were tough as boot leather, when i mentioned it i was told it was "probably just a bad batch." Gone downhill badly, wont be back.

Top darts. Just popped in briefly earlier this afternoon for a pint (which became two as the atmosphere was pleasant) and my crossword fix while waiting for the bus - really friendly staff at the bar and the waiting staff (as an observer at this point in the day) are great and so friendly for those who come to have a wee something to eat as well. They really did go the extra mile for customers that came in and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Well done everyone

Food is lovely quiet but busy wee bar and service is amazing.

I Can't comment on their food. My problem is how they treat customers. My son and myself arrived for abit of lunch and a couple of pints. Apon arriving I noticed a free table and waited to be shown, the waiter stated they had no tables free but if we waited someone was just finishing and we could have that. I asked if tables can be booked as there was one free. His replie "thats for 3 ppl and as there is only 2 of you you cant use it. But we where welcome to wait. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so told him no thanks we'll go elsewhere. Luckily we ended up in the Morning Star where we were made very welcome and a lovely lunch. Won't be rushing back to the Queens any day soon.

I ordered the Steak Sizzler and the Christmas Fayre, both of which tasted pretty good. They are typical British pub meals. Other restaurants require reservations in advance, so I had to choose a tavern to eat. The taste was better than expected.

I called in to queen's café for the first time since it reopened. I used to love coming here but I think everyone was having an off day when myself and two friends called. Had to get ourselves menus (another table waited another 10 minutes or so and came in just after us), took a while to order. Food came and I can only say it was the most tasteless club sandwich I've ever had. My two friends enjoyed their dishes but they tried mine and agreed. Mentioned it to the waitress but never got any feedback, we weren't offered desserts or tea/coffee so in the end we just paid the bill and left.

Haven't been for many years, glad to see it was still there. Only had a drink , place wasn't the warmest , it was a blindingly cold day.

Appreciate everywhere is busy at this time of year, so didn't mind waiting, placed order, table beside us they got their order wrong, then came our order, wrong also, beef instead of chicken, was not great, chips were like matchsticks unable to eat them, Christmas Dinner was also disgusting, had to ask for drinks order 3 times. Definitely not be rushing back!

Have passed this place many times but this was my first time eating there. Despite being very busy a table was available within 10 minutes. Good menu chioce including traditional Christmas Fayre. Highlight was haddock and chips. Pleasant staff and good value. Will be back.

Pub food in Belfast is very samey and while there is a decent selection here, £14 for pie and mash is an expensive enough lunch, albeit this is the going rate these days. Queens cafe bar was busy, staff were flat out but remained friendly and the food was decent if not spectacular. A nice little bar in a nice location.

Amazing food and staff, BUT portions too large ( I know, very unusual). A lot of waste of very good quality food.

Soup was very watery. Group if 4 one had 60% cabbage

Visited queens cafe bar at lunch time 13/10/22. My friend lorna & myself both ordered the catch of the day. The food arrived promptly & looked absolutely gorgeous. Alas when we started to eat it we realized that the plate was freezing cold. The meal was cold after a few minutes. Surely it is not too much to ask that hot food is served on a hot plate . Meal ruined by carelessness.

Another lovely lunch in The Queen's Bar. Such nice staff and such nice food too. Couldn't ask for more.

It was very cozy there: We toasted my husband's birthday 🥂 and might have "collapsed" there if we hadn't had a ticket from the "Hopp on Hopp off" bus and had to move on at some point. Highly recommended, it has flair!!!

We went here for a relaxed lunch. The staff were so helpful, they answered all questions and were so patient as we were so busy chatting that we hadn't looked at menu. Food was gorgeous, we had the burger, chowder, Cesar salad and club sandwich. Portions were huge and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back as soon as possible!

Have been going to queens bar for years was really disappointed by the service on Saturday 2nd July had to ask for menus 4tables in after us served before us don't really understand what was going on

We had a couple of pints of Guinness. The atmosphere was very good to have a conversation with friends.

We usually go here for lunch when we're in Belfast City centre. The food is great and the staff are friendly. The only thing is the toilets are upstairs which was difficult for one of our party however we are aware of that but still like to go.

Delicious food . Very large portions !. Staff are the highlight. The friendliest in Belfast City Centre and superb service. A really good spot for tourists and locals alike.

We visited this café bar on Saturday 14 for my husbands birthday .We had a party of 8 six adults and two children . Charlotte served us she was so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us . The food was excellent .Four of us ordered the sizzling steak , absolutely lovely and a good serving.The kids burger was big , fit for an adult. If you are visiting queens arcade do pop in you won’t be disappointed. We will call back in a few weeks time. Thanks to all the hard working staff . Sharon Black

Lovely place to stop in for lunch and a pint when in Belfast.

Sausage and champ fritters, make sure you are hungry before eating this as it's very filling, no other side's necessary.
