Great cafe, unreal food and portions

Not premium quality meat, salad and fries as priced. No complimentary sauces with meals (bought three meals). Overall would rate as average.

the food wouldve been great for its price but there was glass/plastic shards in my food??

I would like to start with the chips they were not fit for a dog and as for the rubber that you call lamb wrap we put it straight in the bin where it belonged and the gift bag containing a roll you can keep

I received the wrong order, therefore my food is late and probably not coming.

First time ordering, the burgers and doner were really nice but the Oreo milkshake unfortunately left a mess and leaked all over the bag. Some of the food was affected and the milkshake itself was lukewarm so it wasn’t enjoyable. It may be better to package cold drinks separately from the hot food in future to hopefully avoid this issue for customers.

It’s not what I ordered no drink and chips, which I did ordered and load of salad stuff and that was it less

The previous owners were much better, at least they knew how to make coffee.

Amazing food lovely service. I had the Indian breakfast. Absolutely delicious. Small Curry was on the spicy side but that’s how I like it. My boyfriend had the kebab wrap. Came with lots of chips. Also delicious.

Rude customer service. Sandwiches with barely any fillings/toppings. Previous owners were spot on. Understood their customers, Bangladeshis arrived and start cutting corners.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT: What a lovely cafe. The owner and the staff are helpful and very friendly. Had a chat with the manager… humble, and friendly, he told me they’ve revamped, New decor, new menu but more coming soon. Took some pics so not to confuse the old management to new one. Do visit and support local cafes…

Fantastic little cafe. Lovely atmosphere! The food was pretty quick and delicious. Edit: have visited twice more since I left this review and have had two more fantastic experiences. The food is consistently good and the staff are absolutely lovely. This cafe is great for a quick lunch between meetings, for breakfasts on the way to early lectures, and even for late breakfasts with a cracking hangover. I highly recommend trying out their smoothies! Incredibly refreshing and sweet.

Very delightful cappuccino and lunch. Service was 10/10, the owners were so friendly and welcoming. My friends enjoyed their burgers. I will definitely be coming back when in the area.

Always lovely to go in there. The friendly couple have ran this place for as long as i can remember 2 decades atleast. They are always smiling and helpful and have a good old chat. I love their chilli chicken bap sandwich. Clean and Good prices too

Coffee good , food ok, thought limited vegetarian options. A customer had to return his food, which is not a good advert.

Love the staff here . Normally only get a few things from the menu suck as baked potatoe with tuna and salad or a fry up . Set 1 all the way . Food is cooked well and the staff are amazing .

Great little traditional east end cafe. Good coffee and friendly service. About 90% of the custom is local who return on a daily basis. You won't get fusion anything but it is cooked on the spot and if you are lucky you will hit a day when they have done some traditional Turkish food but generally good fry ups. Good eggs at a very reasonable price.
