Really nice stage and professional cooks. The fish is super nice. You have to wait a few mins but it's worth it and the chips are chunky and not oily which makes the food you get pleasant. I would recommend a visit

Fish was mushy on the inside, flavourless. Really low quality, one of the worst fish I've had in a while. Onions rings were ok. Delivery was expeditious.

Chips tasted like they weren't freshly fried and had been hanging about for ages

It's a bit too oily, but the chips are good. The fish seems a bit thinly sliced. Review six months later The fish was much larger in size and decent so four star. It's still oily, but that's fish and chips—good value and quality for the area.

Lovely fish and chips but, like all takeaways now just too expensive and the fish has definitely gotten smaller.

I usually go to Barracuda in Harrow, but after hearing so many recommendations I decided to give Quay a try. Overall my expectations were met but I don't think it was quite up to the standards set by Barracuda, even though arguably Quays chips were better. Their chips were absolutely fantastic, it must be said. The haddock in batter though was where it paled in comparison. The fish was definitely fresh and batter was crisp but it was also quite greasy and that's ultimately a deal breaker for me. I will give them another go in the future but it's not going to become my new regular chippie unless they get this right. Edited... been back a few time since my first review. Barracuda has been closed due to fire but this place has stepped up and the last two times I've visited have been outstanding.

I love the chips they were really nice. I love the sausage and butter. That was really nice. Only criticism. The pineapple Writer should not be cool in the oil. The fish was cooked in apart from that 10 out of 10.

Cod was lovely chips too, but sometimes the batter on the fish gets soggy and by the time it gets to you it’s not so crispy.. have ordered a few times before, and it’s different every time, but tonight’s was the best so far‼️‼️

Cod cooked to perfection. Ordered the large cod and chips, scampi and chicken nuggets. Everything was delicious. Drove 20 mins down from my home after hearing the great reviews and it did not disappoint. Will be back again!

The best fish and chips outside of London! Without fail if anyone mentions Fish and Chips this is where we always go. If you get the chance then opt to eat in as there’s nothing better than having the food straight from fryer to plate. Make sure to try their homemade tartare sauce and mushy peas; perfect to go with an already amazing meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful

Clean shop, staff always welcoming and friendly. Best to phone and order ahead of time as they cook to order - food always wonderful. Fresh, tasty and cooked how you like, e.g. skinless fish, chips extra crispy (or not so, if you wish) - you just need to ask and they're only too happy to help. Priced very reasonably, plenty of options. Most importantly, they always use clean oil! Great all round, no negative comments at all. Small eat-in area for those who want to dine in.

Never have I ever.... HAD BETTER COD AND CHIPS. Fresh chips hand cutted, hand battered cod the best quality fish! We came here from Central London and will return! Wish they had opened one restaurant there too!

First time and definitely won't be my last!! Really great food! Chips were freshly done and portions were huge. I love my chips soggy, a gee strange looks and laughs but he just made it happen! One of the only places that do onion vinegar!! Mohummed was absolute jokes too! A good chippie is hard to find but we have this gem now!

Nice place for fish and chips. Additionally, you can have starters, handmade wraps, sausage, and calamari as well. It is on the main street, therefore you may have a chance to find a parking place. You can have takeaways. I will definitely try again. Prizes are normal. Enjoy.

The best fish and chips i’ve ever had. Came here after doing a horse riding activity nearby with the little one and it was just perfect. Fresh meaty cod inside a perfect batter. Battered sausage and scampi was also delicious! Staff were so friendly too. Will definitely be coming back again.

I have now ordered for the last few weeks, and have been very impressed with the service; prompt delivery and very hot food which was tasty, no excessive grease which I abhor. 100% on all counts I shall continue to place orders every week. One suggestion would be a Loyalty reward scheme.

This is my local chippy, when I call to collect they even know it's me as I've been a regular customer for years. They put a lot of chips in the portion, which are lovely chips. Their scampi is very nice too!

Hidden gem, and has been for years. The food is as good as anywhere although the ambiance is cafe. It's not cheap, but very reasonable for the quality and the staff look after all their customers as if they're important to them. Locals will know if certain other "eat in" establishments that are also good, but crowded. Quay matches on quality, better on price and more relaxed. But it's smaller - not for large groups.
