Absolutely shameful that you would allow customers to make reservations (with a full confirmation!) for a restaurant that is closed!!

This was such a disappointment. We had such a great time at the bar that we decided to grab a table and eat. The starter of prawn was pure stodge - the opposite of the light, easy flavours we had expected - while the duck salad was so greasy (literally fried duck chunks on iceberg lettuce - it was like being in the 1970's!) it made me feel queasy. The only edible starter was the tuna tartar with avocado. The main courses faired a little better. The fish was not over or undercooked , but the vegetables were more like limp garnish than food. There was still a LOT oil and grease on the food which just made it hard to stomach. This oily residue was something I thought most London restaurants had figured out was unpalatable at some point in the 1980's. The wine list was incredible and the waiters well versed and helpful. The puddings were delicious. Recommend the amazing array they bring out for the petit-four. Cocktails are great and the staff all super lovely and helpful. Just feel like their chef let's the whole thing down. Now I get that the proclivity for bolivian marching powder in this part of London means that I suspect most folks eating here may not actually eat. But still very disappointed that such a lovely space, such wonderful staff and such a great array of art on the wall (Picasso, Dali, Chagall) - would be let down in such a brutal and unexpected way. Maybe I just went on a bad night. I do hope so.

I feel bad writing this review because the staff was super awesome. But the food was so salty. We ordered the lobster pasta and it was so salty I drank 4 glasses of water to finish it. My side was literally too salty to eat... The manager apologised and offered us the pistachio ice creams (which is £40) for free so as far as the service is concerned, it was great. This was my third time at Quattro Passi. My first experience was at their flagship restaurant in Nerano Italy. That was a tremendous experience that would be hard to duplicate. Last year I visited the London location and had a great experience again. My family and I see visiting London again this year and we're looking forward to another great dining experience. Unfortunately, the food and service were very disappointing. Our reservations were for 7 o'clock which is on the early side, but we were literally the only people there. Another couple came a bit later, but for the most part the place was empty. We were enjoying our appetizers when a large rodent ran out of the kitchen and into the dining room. I have a rodent phobia, so it was difficult for me to enjoy he rest of the experience. Although it was obvious that the wait staff had seen the critter and my obvious distress, nothing was done to allay my concerns or fears. They didn't even comp us a glass of wine. I've never had such an experience in any restaurant, let alone a high end place. I'm just not sure I could ever go back. I did stay through the remainder of dinner. The pasta was over done and not up to the usual standard. The pistachio ice cream however was extraordinary. It is a must if you choose to dine there.

Myself and around 20+ colleagues booked our Christmas party here this year. The food was sub standard, particularly the main courses. I ate here as a guest of a friend - it's near his office - and it proved to be a great choice. The staff were polite and highly (overly?) efficient, the food much more filling than I had expected for a high end restaurant. Surroundings are very comfortable and it was easy to have a private conversation. As the food - we had a started and main - was so filling, I just asked for 'a couple of chocolates' to come with a coffee however I rec'd the most magnificent selection of perhaps 16 petit fours which were unique, dainty, tasty and delightful. This restaurant works for business, friends and family but possibly not for a young and wild' crowd as it is restrained - but in a very civilised way....

This is a very good quality Italian restaurant - but it's not exceptional in any way and they do charge a premium. The service is very friendly and the sommelier is a great guy, and in general they make you feel welcome. However, with this restaurant being in the middle of Mayfair, I think you can find similar quality restaurants at lower prices (or alternatively spend the same money and have dinner at one of the Michelin-starred restaurants around the corner in Berkeley Square). Bottom line - an excellent restaurant, but really nothing special.

I work nearby and have been here a few times for lunch and also after work for drinks since it opened. Restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the staff are welcoming and friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble. The first time I went was with a friend for lunch and the food was exquisite, fresh and very tasty, couldn't fault it at all. Have also been for a business lunch with a large group and everyone loved it. The food was lovely, including some of the best buffalo mozzarella I've had, and plentiful and the wine list is great. I last visited a few weeks ago with my parents, we popped in for a couple of drinks before they headed off to the theatre. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine and the waiter brought us over a plate of nibbles, including some divine arancini. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Excellent place for a business lunch. Well priced, good food, quiet atmosphere and discreet service. Cuttlefish and veal on the set menu were both excellent

We often pick Quattro Passi as a quiet lunch spot. Decent food, nice people and little traffic so quiet. Today it was humming with people and noise. For some reason the food was better than normal. Also, in the past they never seemed to have the wine we would select from the wine list and that was not the case today. It may have been re-invigorated but something has changed. A wonderful tray of desert samplers was brought out to go with our espresso.

They tried to rip us off by double charging the water and bread baskets but otherwise good.

Unfortunately we were the only guests in Quattro Passi for quite a while, which did affect the ambiance. Service friendly and helpful, food really tasty. Very enjoyable experience.

The service was good and food excellent but for some bizarre reason, perhaps because we booked through OpenTable, we were sat at the front of the restaurant for lunch - where other guests were having a coffee or drink rather than being invited in to the main restaurant. It was bewildering.

Really love this place. What a cool bar and restaurant. I have been many times and particularly love their truffled pasta.

Generally very good cooking, though not quite as good as it might be. Pleasant if anything over-attentive service-becoming a feature of London eating. Glamorous interior, and prices to match,

We were greeted the moment we walked in, coats were taken away and we were sat at the bar until we requested to go to our table. Probably one of the best service we have received, very attentive but not intrusive at all. We were really glad with the recommendations made on the menu and the food was delicious. The restaurant itself looks the part and was perfect for our business meal. Would certainly recommend and will be visiting again.

Located in Mayfair. The service was perfect and we appreciated that the waiter warned us of the high cost of the fish we chose. We ate it anyway and it was delicious. We spent 100 pounds per person.

It was only that morning that I read a few unflattering reviews about Quattro Passi and so I arrived not sure what to expect. There was no need to worry - a superlative lunch with wines that just arrived and matched. Octopus to start was quite possibly the best I have encountered and the fish main was again a triumph. Great surroundings and attentive staff. Traditional but contemporary at the same time and looking forward to returning

It’s been 10 years since I first visited Conchiglia and not once have I been disappointed. Best pizza in London in my opinion. The pizza crust is true to name and super delicious. It’s not just the base! Specials of the day are always amazing. Today we had bruschetta with meatballs and fried polenta with porcini mushrooms as antipasti and then their Sorento pizza with an amazing Burrata cheese and wild rockets topping. It’s a family run restaurant and nothing about this restaurant is fake and just for show, while ambience is immersive and especially lighting is particularly inviting. Marine pasta also highly recommended. As dessert I highly recommend their affogato, tiramisu and one of the best espressos in London. Sorry, I am not uploading an image of the pizza. Couldn’t wait!

Toasted sandwiches was ok but staff very load and sounds like an argument on the go. Very unpleasant

The food is quite ok, the tomato sauce is clearly not homemade and neither is the pasta. But the worst part is that they serve bread as a starter, without warning anywhere they charge €10 per person, including a 5 year old child. It does not offer a children's menu, they sell smaller portions, with prices almost identical to those for adults. I don't recommend it under any circumstances.

Bolton’s: A Trip Back in Time, and the Veal Ragu’s Not Half Bad Either Bolton’s is one of those little gems that proves just how far London will go to stay exactly the same. You know that bit in Goodnight Sweetheart where Gary Sparrow ducks down an alleyway and suddenly, it’s 1940? Well, at Bolton’s, you shuffle down a flight of stairs off Cullum Street and it might as well be 1979. Maybe even ’69, though who’s counting? The walls are blank, save for the odd, indifferent frame, and there’s a stiffness to the white tablecloths that feels like it’s been preserved by the ghost of Italian restauranteurs past. But here’s the thing—it’s glorious. Because what Bolton’s does, it does very well. There’s no nonsense here: no drizzles, no foams, no plates resembling the mind of a mad artist. Just honest, robust Italian food served by waiters who glide about with the kind of seamless charm that makes you feel like a long-lost cousin of the family. Now, to the meal. I started with a plump bundle of asparagus, artfully draped in something rich and buttery, and it was everything you’d want. Then came the veal ragu over pasta, a dish with so much gusto it could’ve walked straight out of Nonna’s kitchen in Naples. It’s simple, bold, and nearly as satisfying as a first love—or maybe a third, by which point you’ve learned to appreciate reliability over flash. Is it groundbreaking? Absolutely not. But that’s what makes it perfect. Bolton’s has no interest in change, and for that, it deserves a proper cheer.
