I was only in the area for an MOT and with the good old British weather chucking it down by the bucket load I took a tenna out and looked for a cafe to ride out an hour. Thankfully the first cafe I came across was closed, so I ended in Q Cafe. I was instantly struck by the high quality furniture and decor. Nothing fancy, but nice and there was an encouraging buzzing atmosphere. It seems to be a real community hub. For my tenna I got a full English and a lovely cup of coffee and I was really impressed with the breakfast when it arrived. The bacon and the sausage were top quality (don't let those few bits of rind fool you - the rashers were large and thick and very tasty!). Mushrooms were gorgeous. Fried slice and toast and both done so well. If the garage don't rip me off, I'll be here again next year. Absolute quality!

Thank you so much for the Christmas Dinner on Thursday that was free.. such a kind gesture that you made to the community! It really was the true Christmas spirit that is often forgotten about in these crazy times. The meal was delicious and the whole staff were fantastic! One of the Mums from my son's football club mentioned that she visited this really lovely, local cafe with her Mum recently. She said that she was surprised to learn that every Thursday for the month of December, the café's gift was to offer all customers (including children) a Christmas dinner/meal + a drink FOR FREE! I needed to experience this for myself. Four of us Mums decided to take our children to Q Cafe after collecting them from school today. The cafe was almost full, the atmosphere was warm filled with families and friends laughing and talking. We were all warmly welcomed and seated. When one of the servers explained the set-up and the options, my son didn't want the traditional Christmas dinner, but went for their alternative instead which was Bolognese with Penne pasta. I decided to have the traditional Christmas dinner with Turkey, Brussel sprouts, parsnips, pigs in blanket, potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce. The portions were generous and the food was good. I prefer my sprouts to be cooked so they are a bit softer, but that's just my personal preference. Overall, the food and service was really good and my son (who can be quite fussy about what he eats) ate most of his pasta meal and was stuffed! We also had a can of Fanta and Sprite each. The service was friendly and the food was served after about 20 minutes. ALL. FOR. FREE. The children also received a Christmas gift of Cadbury's chocolate selection - a lovely gesture. A massive round of applause for the Chef/Owner, his wife and their family for their generosity and kindness. This was my first visit to Q Cafe and it won't be the last! May your business continue to flourish and grow - your kindness puts those big, international, franchises to shame when they could be doing genuine, community-focused service like this. Amazing Q Cafe! I hope you do this again in December 2024!

Amazing service as I asked for a request that most restaurants wouldnt do but they went above and beyond, Tracie was so friendly and welcoming and made me feel like a regular, her service was perfect. The restaurant was clean and my food was so lovely. The decor of the restaurant was so beautiful and even had a Q on the wall. Overall I would 💯 come back to the Q cafe again it’s prices are reasonable and the service is so great.

I only wanted a snack so ordered just toast with marmalade but it was perfect. 2 well toasted slices. Butter. And bon maman marmalade. Little things make a difference

Food is top notch: good quality ingredients, always cooked to perfection. Also amazing value for money, especially the small breakfast, which will set you back just over £6, and would probably be considered a large breakfast almost anywhere else. Staff are always friendly and pleasant.

This was the first time that we had visited here and we both had the breakfast which was very nice and staff were very friendly and welcoming will be going again

Popped in here briefly for a quick lunch and found it very pleasant. Delightful gentleman served us, food was fine and we had no complaints. We’ll return.

Even though this place was super busy considering it was Mothering Sunday, we were found a table for two by the window in less than ten minutes. Service was super quick too, quick to take my order, even with my requests for adjustments. I wanted part if one breakfast alongside another but without certain items. No problem all set out in front of us with less than a fifteen minute wait, despite being packed to the rafters. Service with a smile and a genuine smile. The girls that work here are all so helpful. Food is good too. My husband had the full english and it arrived freshly cooked and totally non greasy with a choice of toast or bread and butter. I started with pancakes which turned up looking more like scones that the usual flat affair I expected. Well, I'm practising how to make them like this at home. The flavour was spot on only they were light and fluffy and gorgeous. I had them with a nice fresh fruit salad consisting of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, banana, pineapple and grapefruit. It also came with a little jug of maple syrup. The whole lot with two cups of tea and a coke cost less than £20. Considering I've paid more than this and for less food, this, for the area we live in, is excellent. Along with the great customer service and a layout that allows you to see the entire, super clean, kitchen area, it cannot be faulted. They even found colouring stuff for the child at the next table who, by the way, was sat in a high chair that the cafe had provided.

My American Breakfast was lovely and the latte was delicious. My husband had to send back his beans as they were lukewarm & he was given bread instead of toast, but they were replaced immediately.

I popped in for breakfast which and went for the full english breakfast. The food was good but tea was not included in the price (like many others) but was around the average price for a cooked breakfast. The cafe is bright clean and staff were friendly. Looking for

Normally go to the Shirley cafe as it's slightly closer, however I may have to switch. Everything from staff to food to milkshakes is excellent.

Really good experience. The Q Cafe is clean and the Full English Breakfast was an all-day option which I opted for. The food was cooked well and you can tell the ingredients used were high quality. Very reasonably priced which would explain its popularity. Staff attentive, polite and ensured the cafe stayed clean. Well worth a visit.

Rubbish breakfast. Everything precooked. Sausage wasn't heated up properly. 1 of the eggs wasn't yolky. No proper crusty bread. Not the best.

I have been at Q Bar this late morning for my normal Saturday morning breakfast, and I had to witness a couple who were spoken to in a very rude manner by one of the waitresses. This blond girl was speaking to this couple in a very rude manner, and I was embarrassed for the behavior, and it was not a nice sight. She was also rude to me a couple a months ago, but I thought it was just a bad day for her. Now I believe this is her behavior towards all costumers. I think it is a shame because the food and the service from other staff is really good. I truly believe she should not be working there because she has no manners.

g Eat here with friends the food was good. What spoilt it was one of the waitresses shouting down the restaurant as I was leaving you have not paid for your food sir. Obviously I had paid but she had not seen me pay the other lady. May I suggest this lady gets some training on how to speak to customers and check her facts before shouting out also all can hear in the restaurant. A real embarrassment with little apology. Such a shame.

Not worse place iv been food was luke warm service ok

Very nice cafe but I only got as well as chicken and avocado, I got 3 salad items whereas the board offered 7 so for me the salad was a bit boring and bland. Would go again and try something else as other customers food looked lovely

I'm giving it 5 star because straight away I was looked after even though I had no clue how it worked, if I should stand or go sit down, but was helped straight to a table. This is the difference between coming here once and thinking its OK and coming back because of the experience. And the Food was really good as well!!.

Absolutely lovely cafe. The food here is amazing and the staff are lovely. I would encourage anyone looking for a decent breakfast or lunch to try qcafe out. Has become our go to place now and have never been disappointed.

Currently ny favourite breakfast lunch lical eatery. Great portion sizes, fanatastic food and fabulous staff... the hot chocolate is one of the best ove had!

Walked in and asked if it was table service or could I order and pay then take a seat and was told to take a seat and they would be right over by 2 of the staff members who looked confused by my question. Well 30 minutes later still not even a look by the very staff who told me to sit down and they have walked past me 3 times and there are only 3 tables outside with one lady sat next to me . If you have all day and dont fancy eating then come on down , can't comment if the food, service or pricing because I didn't get that far . Ill take my money and spend it elsewhere

We decided to stop off at this place whilst travelling up to London. It was a great find. The service, presentation and food was good and reasonably priced. I recommend this café.

Like many of us, I've eaten in cafes and I was expecting the usual budget Richmond style sausages when I ordered my roll. So, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I tucked into a genuinely crusty roll with 2 delicious Cumberland sausages with a cup of ground coffee and a lotus biscuit, all for the bargain price of £4.20. I cannot recommend Q Cafe highly enough 👍👍👍

Do Not waste your time with this cafe it has changed hands and is now dreadful. waited an hour for my order which was wrong and not cooked. terrible considering there was only 5 other people in the cafe terrible place avoid

A little gem of a cafe. Lovely fresh food, friendly and polite staff. Price wise I'd say you pay a little more but it's certainly worth it as you get a good plateful of food! Thoroughly recommend.

There are currently 3 massive signs on your window (including one lit up neon sign) which says OPEN. So I pull the car over and park because you are "Open", yet you are CLOSED!! You wasted my time.

Would highly recommend this cafe, full English is fab, it’s my first time here and will definitely come again. Sausages are proper nice, chips fab, not greasy. You must must must try, plenty of seating for social distancing. Clean & very very friendly, best breakfast around and good price. Portions are big too so great value for money. Amazing service, quality food!!!

Friendly service and food cooked to order; comfortable seating and reasonable prices. But ... we had two different breakfasts, the big one and the American. The Big Breakfast came, as requested, without beans (other cafes don't listen ...) and there were too many chips (not a bad criticism). The bacon could have been drained better - a little greasy - and the sausage was disappointing GIVEN the comments in earlier reviews. The eggs - one was overdone, the other underdone; I don't believe they only have one ring for frying eggs in. The American - they'ms not pancakes like I's used to (at least not from Aunt Jemima's Kitchen c. 1966, where pancakes, bacon & maple syrup were the basis of many a dish - Aunt Jemima's were flat and 6"-8" across, not thick and 3"). Everything else was fine. Tea and Earl Grey were good (and cheap).
