Wow, what an absolute gem to come to town! The food is absolutely delicious & authentic, like a homemade feast - & portions are incredibly generous. My boyfriend was literally salivating & sighing over his slow roasted lamb special, & my butter chicken was the tastiest I’ve ever had - so flavourful & tender. (We couldn’t finish everything & wish we could’ve taken a doggy bag but were going to the cinema after) The owner & chef are so friendly, & helpful with suggestions. Lovely family vibe in there too, super comfy seats & quality crockery. Won’t be spending our money anywhere else next time we fancy a curry! Thanks Punjabi Grill, see you soon! (We’ll skip lunch first next time.) :-) x

Went here as a last-minute change of plan meal with 8 friends, one of which was in an electric wheelchair. Staff was very accommodating and assisted with our needs to ensure that we were all in comfort. Ambience is nice with soft music in the background but not too loud, so we were all able to hear and have a conversation altogether. The food is very nice, it is served fresh and hot with plenty of choice including vegetarian options. Highly recommend this place.

More a casual place, not your evening out type of Restaurant, decent Menu lots of specialties on offer, opted for the Lamb Byriani, Pani Puri, lamb kebab roll, and wings, all well presented, was not a fan of the pani puri but my error as I thought it was Dahi Puri which is far better, didn’t think the puri’s were too fresh either, the Meethi Lassi was superb and was a perfect drink for the food, service was good, reasonable pricing, well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic lunch here; food was great - flavoursome, good level of spicing, fresh ingredients. My chicken karahi was chicken on the bone (wing, drumstick and more) with fresh ginger and cardamon lifting the sauce. Tasty and plentiful. Service was friendly too. I wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you Punjab Grill!

Fantastic curries. We are big curry eaters and had lamb curry and butter chicken. It was amongst some of the best we have ever had. Going to have something from the grill next visit as it looked and smelled amazing. Staff friendly, quick service and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious authentic Desi food is now available in Southend. Thank you Punjab Grill Team! A lovely restaurant which is bright and comfortable with lovely surroundings - perfect for all occasions. A wide menu range which was so tasty and flavoursome. Very reasonably priced too. The staff are friendly and welcoming and know the menu well - a wonderful service. Perfectly located beside car parks, bus and train stations and beside the cinema too. I can’t wait to come back to try out more of the menu. And I will definitely be having the Karak Chai again - finally available in Southend!

I was presently surprised by how welcoming they were. Received a first class service with explanations for all of my questions about the different dishes. They were very much aware off food intolerance's. We ordered the mixed grill and Pani puri which was absolutely finger licking. Even my daughter who never had Indian food, ate every little morsel left on the serving dishes. Top class restaurant with top class service. Will definitely go again.

This place is amazing, the food is to die for. I am Punjabi Indian and I would say this is probably the best place on the Southend and surrounding area for Indian food. This is how it's supposed to taste like. We had lamb kebab wow amazing spicy. Chicken chatt absolutely gorgeous. Chai tea mmm so tasty.

Went once with friends here and had a nice time, went again and had an awful time, we were the only ones in the restaurant and they still messed our order up twice, and didn't really seem to care even when I brought it up. Wouldn't go again because of this, shame as has potential. Worst thing by far was the fact that both rice dishes we ordered on the second visit, were a bit wet and soggy.... Not cooked properly.

It’s Average at best! the meals are over priced and come in small portions, they aren’t a lot of Nigerian takeaway restaurants so maybe the locals thinks it’s nice but growing up in south london with so many Nigerian restaurants options to choose from i believe these lots food ain’t even close- they are not even competing at all, the flavours, sizes and portion sizes are 10x better so i dont mean to be negative but thats my honest truth having tried these lots food. I give it 5/10 and that’s me being humble
