The food was good, but the portion sizes were disappointing. The show was amazing, and I attended with my partner and a friend. We paid for a table for the night, but unexpectedly, after midnight, they asked us to leave the table. They also stopped serving some drinks and only offered the most expensive options.

This is very nice place and one of a kind to have fun and do something deferent we loved it we will go every year very very fun

Great atmosphere, attentive staff, nice food. Really good experience for the New Year’s party The show is great, a variety of acts and lots of interaction, fire dancers, aerial acts, singers, burlesque.

A very disappointing experience. The show isn't at all what it looks like online, venue is tired and grubby, service obismal. Don't trust the postive reviews they offer free shots in exchange good reviews. Its embarrassing. Don't waste your money.

Booked a swifties brunch which was advertised as non stop Taylor swift brunch with the host and acts paying homage to the pop princess. It was completely opposite to what was advertised, with only 2 Taylor swift songs played during the whole of the show and performances. Even the lip sync battle was with RuPaul drag race songs so no one knew the words. There was no mention of it being a Swifties brunch and when we asked the staff they said they didn’t have the right performers for it, and this was the second weekend running where the same has happened. Therefore, I feel there should have been some acknowledgement from management in advance for the change in circumstances, this is not what we paid for. I will certainly be writing a complaint. The drinks were vastly overpriced and the food wasn’t of a good quality either.

Be ready to be amazed! The venue is beautiful and plenty of space. The atmosphere is just right and the performers do a brilliant job

We had tickets for the 2 course Saturday tickets at £69 each. I had visited 14 years ago when the food and show were incredible so expected the same. Food- we had to preorder our meals so when the choices came through I was shocked to see 1 choice with a veggie option and no choice appetiser. appetiser consisted of tomatoes chopped up in a bowl with a lump of mozzarella and mustard dressing on top. Main was chicken orcauliflower kebab Whick was bland and cold. We would of left entirely if we weren't so hungry. Show- 5 performers, host was funny and entertaining, thought himself a great singer, he was good, bit like a butlins redcoat. The girls were good dancers but no 'show' no burlesque, I was expecting champagne glasses, fan dances etc. They basically had Ann summers out fits on that they took off to reveal they had glittery stickers on their nipples and danced round a chair. and then got off the stage. Think they needed some more training. The more talented dancer did more vintage performing but one was literally squirting cream on some guy out the audience. Then the fire/ clown guy set a dancers crotch on fire and laid on some 'glass' it was a bit awkward when he couldn't get the dove out of his pocket. Bill- we paid £279 for tickets. We had 8 cocktails, 4 beers- not much for being there 3 hours. and 2 extra appetisers as the 'meal' was so bad. Our bill on the night was £250. So all in all we paid over £500 for a mediocre night. All in all pretty dissapointing.

This place is sooo fun. I took my mum for the bottomless brunch/show and it was fantastic! The food was great, the unlimited drinks for the hour (although not very strong) were constantly being served and the queens were just incredible as was the host. Really fun, 100% recommend for anyone wanting to see a drag show :)

The acts and entertainment were absolutely amazing and we couldn’t fault the staff and how quick they top up the drinks as well as how organised they were with the face coverings during the “tier” lockdown. The only faults we found were that the food was ok- fairly average and the only unlimited cocktails you get were rum punch and luckily we enjoyed it. After the cocktails we had to pay for our own drinks which was fairly pricey. On the emails we were told to “dress to impress” which we did however everyone else seemed to be wearing trainers and jeans which it says not to wear so we were a bit taken back by that. However we had a brilliant night.

We watched Cheryl Hole's show! It was a brilliant show, the staff made our evening very pleasant by a smooth and attentive service! Definitely recommend it!

I had such a great time at Proud, friendly staff, and great drinks. The entertainment that night was Cheryl Hole and the venue was a great way for her to perform, we had a good view!

The security outside is totally over the top and aggressive!When you eventually get in queued for an hour!we get seated then had to wait for the drinks bottomless that was a total joke wasn't even full hour and it was bizarre fruit punch which didn't seem to have alcohol in.the show came on was very amateur they had problem with sound and didn't really get an atmosphere going seen better out in Soho over the years! astronomical price of or a bottle of wine .won't be recommending

Got to the event bang on time and had no trouble getting in. Got taken straight to our table right next to stage. Worth paying the extra for the views. It was pricey night but was well worth it and our waiter (alvaro estrada) looked after us and did a brilliant job. Would highly recommended

I bought tickets to this for my friends birthday, however after reading the reviews on here started to feel very nervous- I even emailed the company in advance to clarify some points! However no nerves were necessary. The show was really great, the drinks were topped up regularly, and the function room was really nice!!! It did take a while to queue outside, if they're not going to open the doors till 12 I think putting 11 on the ticket is a little unnecessary. Also I wouldn't go expecting to get too tipsy- the cocktails were quite weak and drinks were £50+ for most- they give you a drinks menu however it's worth asking for things off menu as they do serve beer and wine which is a little cheaper (£37 was the cheapest bottle of wine!). Also they lost the last star as the food could definitely be improved - the mushrooms were okay but portion was pitiful, and the pancakes weren't great. My friend and I both agreed that they could have saved themselves a lot of hassle and have equal enjoyment by just kitting the table out in-advance with a continental sharing plate with some pastries/rolls etc. However, overall would definitely recommend, really enjoyed it and would go again!

Great night and performances. The bottomless drinks were abit disappointing. Next time will give the brunch a miss and just get our own drinks. But overall amazing night. Loads of fun and exciting xxxx

Las bebidas son ridículamente caras y los menús en las mesas intentan venderle los paquetes de bebidas más caros solo a usted. . . . el servicio de mesa era terrible, tenía que indicar constantemente a un camarero que intentara pedir una bebida, pero el cargo por servicio era obligatorio. Durante la hora feliz solo pude pedir una bebida ya que era imposible llamar la atención de un camarero. La camarera olvidó varios pedidos de bebidas después de esperar más de 40 minutos. . . . Nos sirvieron bebidas en vasos de plástico sucios y manchados de pintalabios. . . la comida era mediocre, el brownie de postre salió congelado. . . . los gorilas eran muy agresivos parados sobre la gente y gritándoles. Había un charco de vómito en la esquina donde estaban los baños, no estoy seguro de cuánto tiempo estuvo allí antes de que el personal lo limpiara. . . . . muy preocupante el tiempo de respuesta de limpieza considerando que estamos en una pandemia. El lugar tiene una decoración agradable y buen entretenimiento, pero al final todo fue estilo y sin sustancia.

Estaba tan feliz de haber asistido a este evento y definitivamente regresaré, el personal fue muy amable, ¡el espectáculo fue una risa! Lo único con lo que no estábamos contentos como grupo fue con las bebidas sin fondo, estaban realmente dilatadas, así que bebieron el doble de la cantidad para sentirme un poco borrachas y tuve que comprar bebidas adicionales en la parte superior, pero aparte de eso, fue una gran noche.

Habíamos reservado para asistir a Proud Caberet el sábado 10 de octubre para un brunch de dos platos con cócteles sin fondo durante una hora.A pesar de estar en el lugar temprano (11 am cuando no abre hasta las 11:30 am) ya había una gran cola.¡La cola era muy lenta y no nos sentamos en nuestra mesa reservada dentro del lugar hasta las 12:30! Era ridículo que se tardara tanto en llevar a la gente al edificio y sentarse, especialmente porque todos ya tenían una mesa específica reservada. He estado en conciertos y estadios de fútbol con 75000 personas y nunca me tomó tanto tiempo entrar. Nunca debería haber tomado tanto tiempo.Los “cócteles sin fondo durante una hora” estuvieron lejos de ser sin fondo y duraron solo 35 minutos. También era un cóctel a base de vodka de la casa muy débil.Cuando nos sentamos a las 12.30, nuestro primer trago fue en 1235, vertido en nuestro vaso por el anfitrión que vino alrededor de cada mesa. Todas las mesas a mi alrededor también estaban sentadas a las 12.30.A la 1 . 10 pm nuestro anfitrión de la mesa nos informó que a ella solo le quedaba una jarra del cóctel de la casa y que tendría que compartirla en varias mesas para que nuestras tazas estuvieran llenas una cuarta parte. Había asumido que estaba ganando más, pero cuando le pregunté dónde estaba nuestro próximo lote de bebidas, nos dijeron que habían parado los cócteles sin fondo, ya que solo era por una hora.Le explicamos que solo estábamos sentados a las 12.30 y solo habíamos tomado 2 bebidas, una que estaba llena en una cuarta parte. Como mucho llevábamos 35 minutos bebiendo, pero como los anfitriones tenían que recorrer todas las mesas apenas conseguimos beber. El problema principal fue que pagamos por una hora de cócteles sin fondo y solo tuvimos 35 minutos.Al menos 4 grupos separados a mi alrededor también se quejaron con los anfitriones sobre esto y pedimos ver a un gerente. El gerente nos dijo que los cócteles sin fondo habían comenzado a servirse a las 12.10 y solo duraban una hora. Esto fue ridículo ya que estuvimos en la cola fuera del lugar durante otros 20 minutos a pesar de estar 30 minutos antes en primer lugar.Luego me dieron otra copa del cóctel de la casa "en la casa" como resultado de mi queja. Les dije que simplemente no era aceptable ya que tenía la intención de aprovechar al máximo las bebidas sin fondo durante una hora y no las conseguí. Fácilmente podría haber tomado 4 o 5 tragos más en los 25 minutos que quedaron.Entonces comenzaron las actuaciones. El anfitrión principal era bueno, pero luego comenzaron a surgir problemas con el sistema de sonido. Tomamos nuestro primer plato de tortitas y nos fuimos.

Pagué más de 240 para 5 personas. Nuestra mesa estaba tan lejos (razones de Covid tan aceptables) pero apenas podíamos ver. Hicimos cola durante más de una hora incluso con boletos. Una vez dentro, no nos sirvieron nuestras "bebidas sin fondo" hasta que pasaron 40 minutos, que era básicamente una jarra de jugo de naranja con un poco de Prosecco en el interior que se repartía vaso por vaso, no había opciones alternativas. Cuando la señora vino a darnos nuestro primer trago 40 minutos después de la hora sin fondo, se disculpó, sin embargo, no se extendió, por lo que obtuvimos 20 minutos más o menos. En cambio, compramos una botella de vino (Pinot Grigio) que costó 45 extra. Entrar fue más dramático que el aeropuerto, se sintieron completamente violados, pidieron todos nuestros detalles y luego escanearon nuestra identificación con un teléfono, cuando pregunté para qué era eso, ¡me ignoró y no pudo responder! ¡Pegatinas en cámaras y más!¡Al "ponche de ron" le faltaba el ron! ¡El postre que tenía 12 sin el boleto era muy malo y gofres / panqueques fríos!Además, el "ambiente" no se recuperó hasta las 10 pm cuando nos íbamos.¡Lo único que estaba bien era que la mujer que nos atendía era agradable!

REALLY....My husband has just informed me that we have just had our places cancelled for Saturday night FOR THE 2ND TIME, we have paid for train tickets (over £100 and hotel over £200 to come and see the show) we had booked it for our anniversary back in March and it was cancelled understandably, but after assurance that it had been revamped and reconfigured to meet the social guidelines we rebooked for my birthday, spent a bit extra on hotels etc as knowing that it would not be easy to socialise as we would like and the show would be our main entertainment, now we have nothing bar a lot of spent cash FOR NOTHING Apparently the reason we have been cancelled is due to numbers being no more than 6? WE ARE 2? The have said we could have compensation of a cocktail in the future??? A VERY POOR SHOW, CLEARLY OVERBOOKED AND AS WE ARE ONLY 2 THEY MAKE THE MOST OF BIGGER GROUPS BOOKINGS.

From when we arrived after scanning our tickets we then couldn’t be found on the table layout. Paid for a food ticket and received NO FOOD. Weren’t allowed to take pictures or record. Was told to delete a picture of myself and my friend by the huge intimidating security woman. Owner is also rude, unapproachable and unapologetic. Walks around like her sh*t don’t stink. First and last for me

The fact that no ones allowed at the bar and only two people was serving the whole club was ridiculous waited an hour for someone to even approach us and got tiered waiting for the drinks to be delivered to us so ended up leaving before they even arrived would not go there again

I attended the Peepshow event on Saturday evening with a group of friends. Despite being in lockdown, and the tables being socially distanced and capacity seemingly restricted, there was a very good crowd and great energy in the room. This was helped by some very good DJs, their names escape me but I will be certain to do my utmost to make another peepshow event in future. The food was great, the staff was polite and the venue was fantastic.

Regresé de España para el fin de semana para ver a la familia. Mis hijas habían organizado un día completo de entretenimiento que incluía Proud Cabaret. Qué tiempo fantástico todos tuvimos, muy entretenido y el anfitrión Misty fue fabuloso. No es la mejor comida y las bebidas eran muy caras, pero el entretenimiento lo compensó. Una experiencia que no debe perderse, pero no use su teléfono durante la presentación; de lo contrario, Misty confiscará su teléfono como lo descubrió un desafortunado cliente. !

The compare Misty is fantastic the entertainment is great very funny if your looking for a gourmet food your going to be disappointed but the Rum punch is plenty so go have a good drink and enjoy the show

So I went, Paid and got told that no one was serving our table. I spent a fortune on it. After hours, I got serve 4 boney wings and 2 watered down drinks and told that is it... not getting anything more... got told no waitress was assigned on table so we had to cramp our 3 tables worth of people onto 2, I really wish I was exaggerating, I am not. Complained 5 times and didn’t get anything but an apology and a promise that eventually we’d get fed. Never did, just got told that they had finished Serving and the bar was ope, bought one bottle of becks for £5.50 and then they couldn’t get the microphones to work so couldn’t hear the show.Without question the worst experience in London. Never ever had a bad experience at any London events cause they are so well executed, this not only fell short... I wouldn’t go again if someone offered me it for free... I wouldMy even consider going again if I was paid.I didn’t take a photo of the food we were served as at the time I expected that more would come.. we didn’t get served any more so couldn’t take a photo for you... however I did take a photo of our big “slice of cake” That they handed out in bags.. pitiful. Haha

Staff is rude and unfriendly - I’ll never visit that place again, also drinks are very expensive and not worth it

Truly awful customer service. I booked and reserved a table for 2 (£60) on a Saturday night in January and was sent via email the booking details. We arrived at the venue listed on the email (Proud City Cabaret) to find it completely closed, no one around. Tried to call the number on the email but only got a voicemail. This ruined our night out. I've since sent multiple emails to this organisation to get a refund and there's been no answe

While the comedians were great, this was sold as a bottomless experience and it was definitely not that.The drinks stopped being served to us within about 40 minutes and was a watered down rum punch. We wanted to buy more drinks but the cheapest prosecco at the bar was £45 and the cheapest wine was £35 (and it wasn't great wine)The food was also supposedly bottomless - we were a table of 5 people and had 1 plate of 4 tiny chicken wings and some chips each. When we asked about more food we were given the response "well if there's any left" - as if it wasn't bottomless at all...Would have stayed for the comedians but ended up leaving early because we were hungry - went home, made our own rum punch and chicken and had a great night, but this event was a waste of money all in all.

While the comedy element was good, this was in no way bottomless. Our table was neglected for the final 20 or so minutes and the drinks are watered down. We were going to opt to stay for the comedy element but the bar is overpriced with the cheapest wine at £35 and the cheapest prosecco at £45. We also only got one tiny portion of chicken each and when we asked for more they said “if there’s any left”. Would not pay for this again, didn’t get money’s worth at all.

This was booked as a birthday present by a friend to myself which we were promised bottomless Prosecco and a three course meal. Original date we had booked was changed due to illness however I would assume it would be the same standard as originally booked despite the fact that I was also not updated on the changes. The options was reduced to 2 course which was not as bad as the options advertised were better than the previous booking, however on the day it was very subpar very dry pancakes with two pieces of also dry bacon. My friend was presented with a stuffed mushroom and packet salad with no dressing also very dry. day it was very mediocre very dry pancakes wi of bacon and my salad with no dressing also very. Bottomless was also not as advertised as it was just one hour of watery rum punch which was not constantly topped up as they were three waitresses serving the whole party which is more than 100 people so you would only get a maximum of 2 cups. As we were initially wanting Prosecco my friend and I ended up spending £90 on two bottles of overpriced Prosecco. The acts were funny however it was quite rushed where it was advertised it would finish at 16:30 it ended at 15:00 latest with an hour and a half of making the most of it whilst the waitresses were tidying up the space. I definitely would not recommend one of the worst brunches I have been to.

First off, i have to say that the entertainment at Proud was great. Nobody can dispute the talent and the variety of the talent on show. The venue itself is good too, plenty of seats and good vantage points for the stage.But the service was awful. Whilst the staff are pleasant, they are so disorganised and nobody knows what is happening. I appreciate it was New Years Eve but food arrived over an hour late, and two of us were finishing our main dishes when the other two were brought their starters. The food was tasty, but it was spoilt by the hours it took to get it sorted and servedAdded to that, the drinks were expensive for what they were and waiting staff had to be chased to get them as we couldn't order at the bar. I wouldn't rush back but might go for the entertainment

I had the pleasure of booking a Christmas night out for myself and 11 work colleagues I just wish that I never came across this place!!!!!.....

The staff were amazing. The show was alright but made up of a compere and 3 dancers, 2 repeated to twice performing and no trapeze as per video! Food was slow. Very slow! An hour between courses is ridiculous. Then we were told our orders could not be honoured! Ran out of turkey even though we pre booked! Drinks took forever then they added nearly £100 service charge to our bill for 6 of us! On top of that we were invited to the after show party but our tables were moved and a chair taken away from our friend who was on crutches!

Very poor service and the show isn’t that great.It took an hour to get our main course from starter.

The food is terrible. When I didn’t eat my food because it was horrendous, waitress came over and asked if I’m done, I told her yes and she can take it. She just looked at me and rudely asked am I okay and am I sure that I am done. The show was okay. It was a group of people, we had a party there, and paid quite a bit of money upfront. We just ordered few bottles of prosecco as extra. At the end of the show we asked for a bill and were planning to stay longer, dance and have bit more drinks. Our bill came with mandatory £150 service charge. In total we paid more than a £1000 for one night and they were expecting us to pay even more. Rip off. The service was not great and we tried to explain that to a manager, but she told us that she cannot do anything about it. Eventually after wasting 30 minutes explaining, she decided to give up and leave the service charge off. Completely ruined evening, left straight away after paying our bill. Will never go back there and I would recommend to avoid this place.

Went to Proud City Cabaret on Saturday evening - nice place, food good. Was disappointed with the cabaret - I was expecting more than just nipple tassels! The only variation was a half dressed fire eater - a drag act or a male act would have provided a bit more variation than just girls getting their kit off! Music at the end was great party music and the party was in full swing until good awful DJs turned up, stuck on their god awful (rave music) which pretty much cleared the dance floor and in fact the entire venue. I think this was actually the intention given it was then being set up for a full nightclub - so very canny on move on their part. Was expecting much more and for the price would not recommend

This is my third time visiting Proud (one in Camden and the other City) and can’t believe how shocking the food service was for their Christmas event.

Comedy show was excellent. Live love Laugh all comedy acts were very funny host shabba smashed and slim was on a different level

I've been to the various Proud cabaret's quite regularly over the years, and this was the only time I've been disappointed. The food was not good quality at all, and despite it being less than half full, they forgot our deserts and I had to go and ask for them to be brought out. Service was poor too.

The place itself is well decorated, the wines weren't very good and having everything served oil plastic was a shame. The event we went to wasn't that good (trying out a new show) and not that full - but with a really good show, and a full venue, it could be quite fun! I did notice great decor in the foyer and bathrooms etc.

Such a fun brunch at Proud cabaret City. We went to the Drag show which was thoroughly enjoyable.

Had a delicious three course meal with fantastic varied and talented performers to watch at the same time! Really loved the mime dancer and the chocolate tart!

Booked as a birthday treat but when we arrived the venue looked so shabby it reminded me of a 1980s strip club. No real welcome by anyone who appreciated they worked in the hospitality business. Warm, flat, sweet Prosecco wasn’t worth more than two sips. We sat down for 5 mins, took in our surroundings and despite having paid for a meal, we left and went across the road for dinner. Felt like a man with a brown suit with a combover was going to come on stage at anytime. Show/food may have been good but wasn’t worth the risk of staying.

Opulent surroundings, delicious food, awesome service and the cabaret was really varied with hugely talented and high caliber performers.

Got to the club just before “last entry” at 12:30am. Proceed to enter the club, tell me why it was empty??? I was there for a birthday event, birthday girl booked a table for wait for it.....£500? there was at least 15 people in there until 2am, everybody started walking out... nobody on the dance floor, what’s Really the meaning of that? What a shambolic night! I paid £10 for absolutely nothing! DJ was good though ‍♀️ but NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO A PROUD CITY EVENT. I have learnt my lesson.

We dined at Proud City a couple of weeks ago, front of house were extremely welcoming and entertaining. However our dining experience was a shambles.

My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful evening chaperoned by the delightful Rachel. We had thought it might be a bit tacky - but it was anything but! The evening was genuine laugh out loud funny, wonderfully LGBT inclusive, the drinks were lovely (if a bit expensive), and the food had no right to be that good at this kind of venue. Seriously - I’d have enjoyed it at a good restaurant.

The entertainment was really good, funny and seductive but the food was horrible also came out very cold.

Good entertainment but the food was absolutely shocking. We ordered from the set menu and the majority of the table ordered burgers. The burgers were so burnt that they were black throughout and completely inedible. For the price we paid for the brunch, this was not acceptable.

Came as part of a work social every single person in our very diverse group had the best time! We will be back

The atmosphere is very nice and the entertainment is good.

We went there with friends to celebrate my husband's birthday. Dinner was nice, our waiter Mario was super attentive the show was fabolous all in all we had a blast! Will return next time, when we would be in town.

This was my first ever cabaret show and I couldn’t of asked for more, the staff were brilliant and responded immediately to any ask, the show was amazing and made ever better by host (joe black) and a huge thank you to (Vivienna) and (Rachel) our waitresses for looking after us, very polite and welcoming, already looking forward to coming again and would definitely recommend it!!!

I had a wonderful time here, Joe Black rocks! Viviana was the perfect hostess, very attentive. If you come to Proud Cabaret City I guarantee you'll be looked after! I highly recommend you dip in!

Simply put THE place to go for fun. Service OMG amazing. Talented staff and performers who dont miss a beat but send it through your spine. Will be returning again. Andrea was the standout who made the evening extra memorable. Living our best life!!!

Supposed to visit this on Saturday but due to an emergency we didn’t make it, tried relentlessly to contact someone to no avail, called on the Monday and explained we had an unavoidable family emergency and we didn’t make the show and asked if there was anyway we could carry the £80 over to see the show on another day, I was basically told straight no and that I would be charged another £50 for not showing up, I explained the situation again and asked them to show a little compassion as someone’s in life hinge happen, they waived the £50 fee but told me they were not willing to offer a refund or allow us to book the show for another time, again I explained the situation, then explained I tried to get in touch with them and searched for alternative phone numbers as the one I had was only open office hours, I was very coldly told well you should have emailed, again I explained we had a family emergency and we could do nothing, as in an emergency it’s all panic but they didn’t care and just told me I lost my £80, terrible buisness move if they are a successful buisness and left a poor taste in my mouth, I would have loved to have seen the show as this was for my partners birthday, we were really looking forward to it, would not book again as I wouldn’t line their pockets with even more of my money, they could have showed a little compassion and discretion and allowed us to at least book for another time, bad taste left in my mouth

As a proud hipster, when I heard about Proud Cabaret I knew I had to go and try out the place with my fellow homies. The food was exquisite and our waitress Jolie was really cheerful and made our experience even better. Would definitely recommend!
