Bought samosa’s and pakoras, both stale. Could they have been leftover from Diwali stock? I hope the quality control is improved as the shop is nice to have in Cranford

We came back of holiday, stayed in a nearby hotel due to early morning flight arrival and decided to spend the weekend in London. We had been to Priya's on 2 previous visits, the last time post co-vid we were a bit disappointed NOT with the food, but it had changed inside and there were no tables to eat in. We went in the morning bought some snacks for breakfast which were delicious, but we were even more delighted to see, the inside had changed again and there were now some tables to sit at, so we ate in. We then went back in the evening and had our evening meal, which was excellent. This is not a fine dining restaurant, but a shop that serves the local community with excellent Indian cuisine, with a few tables provided so you can eat in. The food was much better than our budget hotel's and certainly worth the 2-3 minute walk.

Worth our 20mins drive. Food excellent. Lamb masaloh had a kick and butter chicken had a silky creamy sauce. Both curries had tender meat. Mrs liked chilli panner roll, panner samosa had crispy pastry with generous filling and nas were fresh and soft. The owner/chef took time in making our curries. 100% recommended and can’t wait to try other items on menu.

I have not been to Priyas for quite some time mainly because I retired from British Airways and live 50 miles away. On Saturday 14th August 21 I was in the area so before my drive home I went to buy some Indian food from Priyas. As always to food is of excellent quality, full of flavours and cooked to perfection. I bought a selection of foods and now eaten I only have full praise for the chef and the team. This might not be the cheapest takeaway in the area, but I will always pay for top quality food that has been the best and of constant good quality for all the years I have used Priyas. Yes I am full of praise for the Priyas team, mainly because they always delivery the best, and are not a bit hit and miss like some other restaurants I have tried near to where I live in West Berkshire. Keep up the excellent work, and the next time I am in the area I will be in again for more food....

The samosas were spot on, as was the black pepper chicken. The desserts were sublime. Bravo guys - such fond memories. Thank you - keep going!

Been coming here on and off for 15 years, regularly buying samosas in bulk for large family parties and events, and have even been known to drive down from where we now live in Cheshire just for these. Was so excited to get a takeaway when you reopened, but when I saw "new" next to veggie samosas, I didn't expect them to be bad. Unfortunately they were awful, please PLEASE go back to your original recipe which we have enjoyed for so many years. These "new" ones are bland, greasy, and may as well be frozen supermarket ones, the new pastry is so bad. I don't understand why something good would be changed in the first place, particularly as the meat & chilli veg are still the same (lovely). I really hope you take advice of your customers and change back, as this is the only bad thing I can say, everything else is and always has been brilliant. Thank you.

Well, what can I say?Went here based on the glowing reviews on trip advisor, normally TA has never let me down. Sadly, today it did. I can only guess the majority of reviews are from foreign visitors staying at local hotels before or after coming in/out of Heathrow and have never had a decent Indian/Asian/Pakistani/Bengal (whatever derivative) meal here at a decent Uk curry house. Ordered their (famous) chicken samosas which were really bland, lamb sheek kebabs...ok’ish. Chicken madras, bland and NO heat. Chicken Korai, tastelessPilau rice, fine. Sag paneer, like green mud but paneer ok but ruined by mud. Bombay aloo, spicier than the madras. Peshwari nan, no filling to speak of no sultanas or coconut fillings and 1-2 pieces of almond. Tarka dall, runny and tasteless. £48 worth of pretty dull food. Not worth the money at all and disappointed to leave a low rating. Much nicer to be positive but just not possible this time. Service was quick. Having eaten local a few times at Moniz, Harlington tandoori, Gärd and others, not afraid to trust the TA ratings. This time really disappointed. Sorry guys.

I had arranged to meet a work colleague travelling from the USA here aa it was nearby the hotel he was staying at on Bath Road. The service in this no-frills eatery was A1 - the owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I had last come here several years earlier when I worked in the locality. I am happy to report the same owners remain with the same warm hospitality. Now the food itself was as authentic as anything you could expect from a high-end restaurant in Mumbai minus the heavy bill at the end!! We enjoyed lamb sheekh kebabs for starters followed by a chicken curry and lamb meatball curry with chapatis for the main course. We could not get enough so continued with a chicken biryani and another round of meatballs. Let me tell you, the lamb meatballs in the addictive sauce is the star of the show here!!Even now my colleague who is back in California is still raving about this restaurant and the meatballs!! The service is outstanding and the food matches too - who needs to spend wads of cash on fancy decor when you have a wallet friendly place like this in London? They even charged my mobile phone for me while I was eating!!!The find of the decade and I do not give praise lightly - if you are staying near Heathrow then make sure you visit this place.

Actually we were quite pleased with Priyas Tandoori. We walked into what was advertised as takeaway restaurant. There were three tables and a deli case more than half filled with desserts and sweets. The menu, however was about 4 pages with a variety of dinner options. The service was good and food very tasty. Having read the previous reviews I was looking forward to having a nice curry following a long day. Was staying in the Travelodge nearby so as we went past we clocked the number and gave them a call to place our orders. Bit strange when they told us they don't do mushroom rice, in 20 years of eating lots of curry from lots of places i haven't seen this. No problem, bit of pilau would suffice. Order consisted of poppadoms, onion salad, mint yogurt, chicken tikka masala, chicken madras and pilau rice. Collect it and take it back. Notice the poppadoms don't look right. They dish out the spicy version without any warning. Kids can't even eat them too spicy. I love spicy but spicy pops are in my opinion grot. Ok, let's crack on with the main. Open my rice, looks like I've ordered from a Chinese. Normal rice and pea?! And when I say pea I think there was more pea than rice! Random. Bizarre. Is this the normal in the east??!! Spent 10 mins picking out the peas of everyone's meal so now cold rice. My madras not so bad in flavour but chewy chicken. Mrs said her tikka masala tasted like a supermarket microwave meal. Kids wouldn't eat theirs. Gutted is an understatement. And to add insult to injury I'm not full after having a curry for probably the first time in my life. Would not go back.

It is mostly a takeaway place (And by the traffic of customers going in and out while we were there, I would say a very popular one as well....).Seating is minimal and very simple. The service is provided by the same lady who serves the takeaway customers behind the counter (Which is worth seeing in itself, with an abundance of traditional Indian delicacies). The menu is incredibly large for such a tiny place. We took lamb, chicken and vegetable samosas for starters, followed by lamb curry, Paneer Bhuna, fried rice and naan bread. We were staying in the nearby Travelodge and I found this great restaurant while looking for a takeaway. The food was delicious and very economical but what made it more was that they asked if we were staying in a hotel and then gave me plates, cutlery and some trays so that we could mix and eat the food back in our room. I really do recommend trying Priya's. We had a great welcome at the local Travelodge as well so this will probably be a regular haunt for us on our future visits to London and the South East.

If like me you like to grab a snack at lunchtime with a bit of zing. Try a chicken tikka kebab roll from Priya's. They are cheap and very tasty and in a great warm fresh nan . The owner and his staff are most friendly and although parking is quite limited, well worth a visit. There is a great choice of samosa's my favourite being the chilli veg and a choice of tandoori chicken, fish and fresh sheikh bebabs also indian sweets. You can sit down and have a curry lunchbox. great !!!!

Our favourite little place for collecting our samosas of various flavours. If they do not have what you want they will make it.They serve various curries, tandoori chicken pieces all the Indian sweets. The staff are welcoming and the prices very reasonable.I wish they would open a branch in Exeter area.

Really super little gem of Indian cuisine! Very reasonable prices and delicious food. Most people working at Heathrow and the area pick up samosas to bring in to the office for their birthdays or for their retirement do. I have ordered samosas, pakoras and chicken tikka for many parties and always goes down a treat! Their chutney is really great. I wouldn't call this a restaurant although there are a few tables. No delivery service. Pity!

Turns out the restaurant is niw only open for private events. But we were able to eat food from the same kitchen in the small takeaway store next door. They have about 4 tables, so you can eat there. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

I failed to be adventurous even though the menu was shouting at me to be so...that said I started well with the Chilli Pakora which was ace. The Lamb Saag with Pilau rice was tasty but mild, I like hot, my bad. The kids had popadum and pickles, Chicken Korma and Chicken Masala which was woofed down with Pilau rice and Peshawari Naans. Portions are generous and delicious. Had one desert to try between use - Gukab Jaman - loverly. This is great food, good price, good service, family business, no white table cloths, only 4 tables. A constant takeaway trade. Going to try again and be more adventurous and will take the wife.

I always use Priyas when staying at Bath Road, the staff know us and are friendly. It is the best take away ever for Samosas, and whichever flavour you want they will make them fresh for you.An excellent selection of Indian sweets, and also curries. There are tables and chairs should you want to sit down and eat.I only wish they did postal orders, as it's a 400 mile round trip to visit.

Been coming here for years. The staff are really friendly.Great value very generous portions. Vegetable rice is lovely and lots of it. Pakora is amazing as is the sauce they serve with. Shahi paneer is something else. Top tip if you want take away order in advance This place is always busy and understandably so.

We have used Priyas 3 times so far. first time we just ordered poppadoms and chutneys. Of which we could tell they where made fresh. On the second visit we went for a bit more. I had chicken tikka masala, and keema naan. And we had another curry, rice and garlic naan. The price was very reasonable and the portions very generous. We again ordered again last night we went for the larger chicken tikka, rice and keema naan. We loved the sauce yet again hense we ordered the larger again. We did ask for poppadoms. But didn't seem to get them.We enjoyed again even the lack of above. After trying alot of local takeaways this one is our favourite. And very reasonable priced. Please try you will not be left upset.

I got there 30 minutes before closing for a really late dinner. The owners were really nice and accommodating. They got the food fairly quickly and made sure everything was going good for me. I am from California and there are plenty of Indian restaurants all over the place. This is, by far, the best Indian food I have ever had.

This must be the worst Indian “food” I have ever eaten. I ordered samosa’s to start and, after about 20 mins, 3, what I can only describe as “Iceland’ samosa’s appeared, one cold in the middle, with
