Humble Thali Feltham in Hounslow

Amazing food, the meat is fall off the bone tender and perfectly spiced. Portion sizes are great, very good value for money. Also the service is quick and they are incredibly hospitable!

Came here for my birthday and got a really good service. Food took about 25-30 mins to arrive. When you come, come hungry! The portion sizes are very generous - I had to get some packed to take home.

Super kind Staff and pleasant atmosphere. Food was delicious but portions were too small. It doesn’t match the price.!! Got Chapati 🫓 mixed with Rice underneath.! Salad tasted Off.! I mean like seriously .!! Not preferable Again.!

I love the food and the service at this restaurant. The thali is really good value and I like the fact that they give you salad with dinner. It's a nice addition. The amount of food in the Thali is really decent and I love that it's a bit more weighted towards street food, rather than your normal British type curry. The staff are so nice and very helpful. I would highly recommend the Humble Thali. I am so happy it is just around the corner from me.

Superb food!! Everything was fresh and made from scratch whether it was the Thalis or desserts. The flavours were rich and truly South Indian. Please do expand and open more branches especially in West Midlands as we rarely get places which offer tasty and fresh food! Thank you, once again!

Good chicken biryani nothing amazing but looked presentable on the plate with egg but some of the elements was bland , almost a concept where the masala was out together in the end. Shame but the owner does seem open to feedback and the place seems to be doing well based in reviews so will try other dishes

Great food, very nice service, great prices. It was a mid-week evening visit and it was very quiet in the restaurant. I hope these guys have busy nights as they deserve to have lots of customers with the quality of their food. Highly recommend and I will definitely go back!

I have been to Humble Thali - Feltham , many times, and also o today ordered few times . whenever i dined in, food was always good. today i order the Veg. Thali and i was shocked as well as surprised on Taste, it was so bad- Yellow daal was like boiled one with out any taste- bland and the mix veg was even i could not finished. also ordered Aloo tikki which delivered without sliced onion as advertised and without the tamarind chutney , this time the experience was not as expected , picture posted !!

Great mixed starters for lunch. Chilli cauli was my favourite. Fry fish very unique. Dips homemade apart from mango I think. Really nice waitress.

The food at this place is without doubt the best in the area. Tushara was very welcoming, eager to help and took good care of us (family of 3 with a toddler). We had Mango lassi, aloo tiki, Kerala fish curry thali, chicken biryani, butter chicken, gulab jamun and gajar halwa. The menu could help with some kid friendly options, but we could feel that the chef has prepared the food with great love and care. The place is very hygienic including a spotless washroom. We will return for sure. 👍 (Make sure you have the Gajar Halwa!)

We went here to get food during an overnight layover at Heathrow. Probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Nice atmosphere with outdoor dining, with very nice and friendly staff. Zsuzsi was super accommodating and helpful making sure none of the dishes contained anything I'm allergic to. We had the Dhaba Chicken and the Chicken Cafreal and both were excellent!!

I ordered the butter chicken thali and railway mutton thali from here as takeaway. It was my first time trying the restaurant after hearing many good reviews. Both thalis came with the chosen curry, lentil soup/curry, chilli pickle, boondi raita, cold chickpeas with onion, 2 chapatis and white rice. For approximately £10, there was definitely a lot of food per thali. However, I wasn't a massive fan of the taste of the food. In my opinion, the butter chicken was a bit too sweet and lacked the actual curry flavour. I would also argue that the amount of chicken in the sauce was very small. The railway mutton was better in this aspect. The rice and chapati were of a standard level, as well as the rest of the items. Unfortunately, nothing wowed me. I do think for the price, it is of good value if in the mood for Indian cuisine. But, I did not end up eating most of the extra sides - I ate primarily the curry, chapatis and some rice. Overall, I think the food was pretty average. It wasn't terrible but it didn't amaze me as expected from all the reviews. If you are used to eating authentic Indian cuisine at home, I don't think this is something you would enjoy but each to their own. Service was very good though. My online order arrived in under 30mins and was very hot. The delivery bag also had a nice note and the delivery name written nicely on it.

Based on the reviews, we tried this indian restaurant without even checking the Menu. And the reviews didn't disappoint us!! The food was amazing, especially the aubergine curry and the dal, along with the solkadhi. The concept of thali, just like you would get in India, was the highlight for us. Home-made feeling, tasty and delicious!! Would definitely recommend!

Great place to enjoy some 'humble' Thalis and it's gravy's from across India. Their Railway mutton is awesome along with their tiny hara hara kebabs!

Really excellent restaurant, and a great find. Opened during COVID and going strong. Good service and delicious food. I had the S.S.C curry which is Sweet potato, spinach and chickpea curry which was delectable, with a delicate daal, rice & chapatis. With a starter of paneer spring rolls. Everything comes as generous portion too. The beer garden out back is charming and would look great in the evening with fairy lights, followed by a few cold ones! I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu..

Simply superb... We had vegetarian menu ordered and the Thali was superb... The chapatis served with Thali were as close as you get homemade ... @AbhijitBorkar ... well done buddy .. proud of your achievement and happy we could come all the way from Solihull to have such a delicious Thali BTW the vegetarian starters were brilliant as well!!!!

Never had a chance to dine in at this place during my stay in Feltham but we did take away food from here quite a lot of times. Being old-school as they are, my parents always craved 'the taste of home' during the visit and Humble Thali did more than meet our expectations. The Paneer Handi Thaali and Veg Spring Rolls were our go-to items. Every time I arrived to take the food I was greeted with a smile. The staff and the owners are super friendly and helpful. Will be on the lookout for the rest of the menu on my next visit.

Genuinely the reviews have got to be fake , I have just had delivery from this place and poor does not even come close . Delivered looking like microwave meal. The food was cold probably sat in in a bain Marie since they opened and switched off for last hour . I had the Thali but not only was it cold , it was such poor quality never in my life have I have raw chapattis, this is a First for me . Its got to be the worst indian takeaway I've ever had in the country and I have a least 2 per week working away.

What an amazing find. We stay close by to this beautiful restrau but never really got a chance to go. Food is delicious, just go for any Thali in main course. We had mango lassi, which was very also flavourful. They have alcoholic drinks on the menu as well. Apart from the food, staff is super polite and friendly. Ambience is so wonderful. I can say its the best restrau you will find in the area.

This place is just great ! We stopped in for a thali on our way to the cinema in Feltham & had a wonderful lunch. The food was delicious and incredibly good value for money. But, what lifted this restaurant to the next was the incredible love and dedication from the amazing people there. The presentation, the little elephants painted on the drinks tray, the smiles, the conversation - everything just shouted with the happiness of people doing what they loved doing. I left with total joy in my belly, I would recommend it to anyone who really loves food and the people who create it 🙂

This place is a joke, the ‘chef’ is using tomato ketchup to make ‘traditional’ curry dishes. Don’t spend your money here !!!!

The restaurant is incredibly small, with only one room and a kitchen hidden behind a room divider. The restaurant only had four tables that required active table service, but the staff was so slow and failed to make it an enjoyable experience; a restaurant is built on both food and the willingness and happiness of the staff; if a restaurant fails to make their staff happy enough to provide exceptional service, that's an area of concern within their work culture. The main course and the appetisers arrived at the same time, defeating the purpose of ordering appetisers. The food was average, but you can definitely taste the pre mixed marinade you can buy at supermarkets. Anyone that isn’t familiar with authentic Indian cuisine would be okay with the meal. The options for the thali could have been more customisable with only one dish being a choice and the rest is whatever the restaurant has left over from the night before, indicating the poor quality veg. I know this due to the worker saying “we was busy last night so we don’t have certain dishes.” Anyways when ordering dessert the waiter specifically said we can do fried ice cream but when asking specific dietary requirements like what oil they use her exact words “ I don’t know it doesn’t matter” she couldn’t even ask the chef, despite this we still opted for it just for her to say the kitchen is closed we can’t do it. Outlining a key issue with communication between staff. Then when we asked if we could have normal ice cream, in which she said no as it’s not on the menu, because the chef will not like it and continued to argue with us until it forced us to just pay the hefty bill (over £100) and leave feeling uncomfortable. I’ve been to many restaurants and the places that care for their customers will go above and beyond and alter their menu within reason to please their customers because they actually enjoy their jobs.

We loved the food we had 2 chicken thalis namely malvani, dhaba then we had a mutton and fish Thali namely ghati and Kerala. The chicken and the mutton dishes were super and we also loved the biryani. A massive hit were the starters you get with the Thali. The fish was a bit on the sweet side not what we expected. The chicken lollipop was very nice along with the paneer spring rolls. Food 4.8/5 Ambience 4/5 Staff 5/5 (excellent service)

Fantastic experience here this evening. We travelled via a short bus journey (285) from a Heathrow hotel for dinner here, and it was well worth it! Totally recommend the Railway Lamb Thali and Mango Lassi. Very reasonably priced and the service was superb. We travel from Heathrow quite often and will definitely return here soon.

Yummilicious food, service great. And main thing is you get authentic Maharashtrian food. So good to know that their is a restaurant in London where you can get fresh Chapati, Solkadi (drink) & Bahkri (rice pancake). Highly recommended 👌

Humble Thali, a nice addition to Feltham and it looked like a good place to serve Asian customers who long for the nice, flavourful food. Unfortunately the food was not up to the standard and hence my 3 star review. The décor is nice, clean and simple. The food served was warm, fresh, but the taste of the vegetarian and fish thali only cater to customers who have a less spicy palate. We were given grated carrots as salad and a small serving of rice and 2 normal chapatis. We also requested for a garlic naan, which was again a normal ready made naan with little or no garlic on it. Overall the place does not warrant a 4-5 star rating. Thanks.

Wonderful surprise on the way home. Decided to stop, as the traffic was bad on the motorway, and we were hungry. The food was delicious, value for money unbelievable for the portion size, and service impeccable.

I am not sure how this place have got all these good reviews, I am not generally a fussy eater And appreciative of small business and efforts but we went to have dinner there last night. Extremely poor service Had to ask things multiple times Dal was like I would get it in the hospital food, no salt, no tadka, no taste. Hara bhara kabab was not cooked properly and was raw inside but crisp on the top so I believe it was fried on high flame and not cooked properly. Paneer had no taste what so ever. Burnt flat onions in them. Only one thing which I can say we ate was masala papad. Roti was not cooked properly. So very disappointing and even after saying that this is our time no one bothered to ask about experience, food or anything else. Would never be Back and will not recommend it to anyone else.

Staff where absolutly lovely, so welcoming and helpful. Food was authentic and delicious as was the smell from half way down the road. Can't reccomend highly enough. Try the gajar ka halwa desert, you wont be dissapointed

We were really starving for a good Indian meal on our last day in London. I sure am glad that we stopped in this tasty family owned restaurant. We had delicious spicy chicken, butter chicken, and eggplant curries. All delicious. We also had the popodums with Indian salsa. Good and spicy! We also had a couple of desserts that were just as delicious as the rest! Our server was very attentive and you could tell the pride that went into the place! We wish the best to this great newer restaurant in the coming years and hope to visit again!

The food was delicious, this wasn't my first Thali but it was up there with the best of them. We really enjoyed the starters as well. They were understaffed when we went but the people working were very helpful and welcoming. We'll be back soon.

I'd heard great things from my family about this restaurant, from the food to the service everything sounded top notch. What we received however was nothing short of amazing. Within 5 minutes of being there the owner, his wife and everyone else working had already greeted us with open arms, the smells surrounding us were sublime and the chapatti blankets on each chair for customers made us feel like we were home. Not only did they specially cater for my SO with a severe nut allergy (they adapted recipes that would usually have nuts in so that she could still love and enjoy them as any other) but they would also stop by for a chat to make sure everything was okay for us. I have never received such a quality standard of service from any restaurant before but I know for sure that I will definitely go back for more and you'd be a fool not to give them a chance.

An amazing place that we passed one night on the way to somewhere else. The food was amazing and virtually cooked in front of you. The staff couldn't do enough to help and were so humble. The only let down is that the venue wasn't designed to withstand sub-zero temperatures. As such their fan heater would blow tremendously hot...and moments later that breeze would turn into an ice blizzard as the filaments needed to cool. That being said, we'll definitely return. Their food too notch 👌🏾😋

This is a wonderful restaurant. The gal that served us (forgot your name, kiddo) couldn't have been more helpful, informative, and just sweet. We come from Santa Maria BBQ country in the US, and their underlying flavors are reminiscent of that smokiness....but then festooned with unbelievably complex and gorgeous Indian flavors that we had never before had. The gulab jamun is the best I have ever eaten and proper, I think. It's a hipster Indian restaurant without hipsters, which, now that I have cogitated upon it, is a dream come true.

Having food here is one of the best places you can ask for in Fetham .. fron the Chef to the staff hats off to you guys for every effort you put into customer satisfaction. Highly recommend this place for anyone hungry and looking for some good with family or friends.

We complemented the carrot salad the the chef came out to talk to us about it and it’s ingredients. They have a huge outdoor space but unfortunately for us it was cold so we had to eat inside but it was just as comfortable. This was the best food we had on our trip which included London and Italy. I wish we lived close by because I know we’d be here all the time. Everything we had soo was delicious.
