Prince of Wales in City of London, Westminster

Lovely traditional pub in Covent Garden. Reasonably priced. I didn't eat but the food looked good. There were also some special burgers on that were a nice twist on the norm. Friendly staff.

Great location near Covent Garden. Greene King so sensible prices for decent o frills pub grub vs. posturing hideously expensive restaurants and cafés in the area.

It's a sunny day, and we’re here for lunch. I’m so glad I decided to come— the food was amazing! I ordered fish and chips, and fries for my toddler. The best part was Amaan, who is fantastic at handling guests. I was amazed at how he managed my toddler’s tantrums, and my little one even became friends with him! Amaan is not only a great person but also an excellent server. He was very helpful with the food menu. Last but not least, the toffee pudding was a highlight— Amaan insisted we try it, and I absolutely loved it.

Had a couple of pints in here. Good, friendly staff, and excellent choice of real ales. There is plenty of seating, and I will definitely be back.

I attended the event on Friday for the Covent Garden Cabaret.... And Boy was Paquita De La Torres Showstopping!!! Venue should invest in having her back more often because wow! love love love!!!!!

Just arrived in Covent Garden, stopped for a glass of wine in the Prince of Wales and was greeted by Amaan. So polite, helpful and had a good wit about him. He made our first stop very enjoyable, will definitely be back.

Arrived with a big group and they staff v quickly moved tables around to accommodate us. Amaan was especially good - knew to communicate with us through writing as we were deaf

Haven't tried the food here so can't comment on that but although there are a good selection of drinks, they are very expensive. Even for the location, when the price starts with an 8 for a pint, it's a no from me.

Fairly classic pub without really any depth or identity of its own... cuisine quite approximate (too cooked for my fish and chips) and portion a bit limited considering the prices... meal taken on a Saturday evening early in the evening and already several options which were no longer available... in short not really a recommendation.
