Excellent service and great food

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time last night, and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I've had with a pizza place. The garlic bread with mozzarella and balsamic onions arrived without mozzarella or onions—just a dry, burnt crust with a massive hole in the middle. It was like chewing on sandpaper. Both pizzas were stone cold and missing toppings, making them completely inedible. The entire order ended up in the bin. To top it off, the delivery was late. If you're looking for disappointment, poor quality food, and frustration, this is the place for you. It feels like they don't even read the orders or care about what they serve. How they're still in business is beyond me. We certainly won’t be ordering again.

Ordered a delivery via Just Eat. Waited for three hours. Order didn’t arrive, never started or cooked. Tried to call the restaurant, no answer. £33 spent and no food. Seeking compensation via Just East. Awful.

Order never arrived. Prezzo did not answer the phone. Utter disgrace.

Waited an hour for our food and when it got here 2 items were missing and had been replaced with soggy cold chips ?

Absolutely shocking. Do not order from this place. Get the order wrong after being late. And do not bother picking up the phone when trying to rectify it. Avoid completely!

Had the fish. V good. Service good and very easy to deal with Tesco coupons. Lunch for 4 around £130.

This is our easy go to place. With a teenage coeliac and a fussy 10 year and we know that they will both find something to eat. We also like that you can take your own birthday cake in, which is great when you need something gluten free.

Didn't book but no trouble getting a table for dinner on a Sunday. Plenty of options for food and the servers were excellent; the perfect blend of professional and friendly. Recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially as you can always find a discount code online too!

We had a fabulous anniversary meal with the family at Prezzo and it didn’t disappoint. The lady Manager at Letchworth is so lovely and runs the restaurant brilliantly - it is a credit to you. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Thank you to the Manager for a little treat! It was much appreciated! Love this place!

Quality of food and portion size does not match what you get in the restaurant. There is almost no sauce on the pasta and it was barely luke warm. Tastes reheated and not freshly cooked like in the restaurant.

Ordered the plain tomato based vegan marinara pizzas (which is my usual) and received two margaritas with cheese which I can not eat, I do not eat dairy.

Nice food. However the prices have gone up to an extent that they are pricing themselves out of reach. £17 for a Pizza is a bit extreme. £19.50 for a chicken burger is off the scale. Paula our waitress was lovely but it is very expensive for what is on offer. Enjoyed the food but at these prices, not sure we'll go back.

I am writing this review a little bit late, just got caught up in life. However, me and my partner had a horrible experience with Prezzo in Stevenage and decided to try the Prezzo in Letchworth. If you’re thinking of going to a Prezzo, come to this one. I have never seen a server so happy to work there, I didn’t catch his name but he was young man. He was very friendly, and the food was so much better than in Stevenage. To the Letchworth Prezzo team, shoutout to you guys! 😁👍

food was freezing cold, they ignored my request for no cheese as an allergy so my partner had no meal, half the chips were missing. DIABOLICAL doesn't cut it. never ordering from here again.

Went here recently and was disappointed with the service. Food was OK though a couple of our party were not overly impressed with their mains or pudding. We were unaware that the place shut at 9.30 and were made to feel very uncomfortable from 9 o'clock, ignored my friend who wanted a coffee and proceeded to bring us the bill! Have never eaten here before and I don't think I will be going back. Given 2 stars as apart from the place it was nice to be with my work friends for a special occasion.

Nice meal good service nice atmosphere well worth a visit

Went to this restaurant twice recently and felt it’s worthy of a review as both occasions were an absolute joy. Paolo was amazing in looking after us with her fantastic warm welcome and outstanding service. Her recommendations for food and drink were spot on. I hadn’t been to Prezzo’s for a long while but I will be returning very soon. Great news menus that change regularly which is a refreshing change for a large group of restaurants. Well done Prezzo’s Letchworth, you are all a credit to the chain.

Nice restaurant food😁 was great

Tried calling restaurant over 20 times but they did not answer. I needed to make sure my burger didn’t come with cheese as I am allergic. Burger arrived covered in melted cheese so I couldn’t eat it. So all I could eat was the cold chips

Food was cold. Delivery time said 8 mins. Then went up to 10 mins. Then longer as other orders were clearly delivered first. By the time it got to us, all the food was cold!

Shame. Food was really good. However no offer for dessert and wasn’t told last order for drinks. Staff couldn’t get care less.

Garlic bread was completely Edible Didn’t like paper rockhard more like a poppadom than a garlic bread and it was tiny the size of a teacup plate To be honest, they should be ashamed of their self charging £7.95 And delivering that The food just gets smaller and smaller portions and the Prices seem to go up and up

We were at the Letchworth branch of Prezzo. We were served by a couple of staff members when Paula came on shift. She was a ray of sunshine. I highly recommend the bottomless brunch. We came here before and Aga was amazing. We had a lovely afternoon.

Too expensive and small portions. Waitresses very good and tried so hard but menu has been changed and the old favourites now gone. Food we had was ok, but portions far too small, been going Prezzos for years, but sorry to say with massive price increases and small portion size wont be back 😞

Sadly when the food arrived the pizza was cold. Disappointing.

Driver delivered to the wrong address and couldn’t work his device. Had to stand in next door,s driveway in the pouring rain inputting my date of birth on his phone as the bag was splitting as it got wet.

Very expensive for what you get. I ordered chicken rigatoni al forno but the pasta seemed to have been boiled and quite possibly never saw the inside of an oven. No cheese or creamy sauce, just watery pasta with some herbs, a couple of slices of pepper and tomatoes. Completely different experience to what you get for the same price in the restaurant. I’d go there to eat still, but will never order for delivery again.

This review is for delivery, not eating in the restaurant. The restaurant experience is good and we love it, but the food received via delivery was nowhere near the standard you get when eating in. My not inexpensive (£15.95) chicken rigatoni al forno is a favourite when eating there, but the version I received at home was appalling. Costing the same price I would expect the same standard of food, but the meal was watery, seemed to have zero cheese or creamy sauce, had a couple of slices of pepper and tomato. Very, very disappointed. Didn’t seem like it had even been in an oven. We’ll still go and eat at the restaurant, but will never order a delivery again.

Came for a meal after being at the cinema, I had garlic bread with balsamic onions and mozzarella, very poor value for money with little mozzarella and balsamic onion relish , making it very dry around all the edges, my burger was nice but had barely any fries, so much to my wife's embarrassment I asked for a few more fries which the waitress said yes sure and brought a fresh bowl of fries to which was later added to our bill at the cost of £4.50 which I had removed for the mere pitiful amount initially on my plate, overall poor value for the money and I won't return.

Toilet smell was disgusting. Waiter sat us right near the stairs leading to the smelly toilets. Gaining attention to be served was very poor

Service was poor. Staff talking amongst themselves. The way up.to the toilets stank disgusting. Our table was right by the walk up to.the toilets . Will never visit again.

What a disaster not offered meal deal or lunch menu after being seated.Ordered foccacia which we thought was similar to a toasted sandwich. It came and the bread was cold and the filling was even colder.we questioned whether it should have been hot and were told no it came cold. We told them we would like it heated it then came back with hot bread but not a hot filling by which time our other friend had finished her ravioli so we had to eat alone.No other explanation. When paying the bill we were not asked if everything was satisfactory. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant. First time Prezzo Bottomless Brunch! Excellent selection of cocktails for those who do not like Prosecco. We were looked after and drinks were topped up when finished! Over all very happy and would definitely do the bottomless brunch again/ recommend!! 🥂

Order was picked up at 13:00 from the restaurant but was only marked as picked up in the app at 13:40. Pizza arrived cold at 13:45

I went to Prezzo Letchworth recently and was very disappointed at the level of service. I had booked a table for 7pm for 3 people. When we arrived it was extremely busy and there was people in front of us and quite a lot queueing behind us also. The person taking our name and booking reference was very unprofessional and looked on the computer and said your table isn't ready as they've overstayed .. as happened with the previous people !!! She also said the computer system allows for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was shocked - that is definitely not enough time to be seated - order some drinks - look at the menu and choose your meal and then order, without then choosing a dessert if you want one. I really think they need to consider changing their system. You need at least 2 hours in my opinion. People go to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and have a chat with family or friends. Not be rushed out of the restaurant. Having said that the food was good but sadly I cannot say the same about the service. When it came to paying - I paid the bill and normally when you pay by card they give you the machine to make a decision if you wish to leave a tip or not ..unfortunately the waitress was standing right on my shoulder watching what I was doing and I was not happy at all - completely inappropriate - in my opinion. We will be going somewhere different next time.

food was typically OK from prezzo, just a bizarre place to eat got sat down with music from the restaurant playing and then had house/rave music coming from where the pizza stove is and 2 cooks just standing there staring as we eat ? 🤔

Really is hit and miss at Prezzo in Letchworth, service and food quality seems to be dependant on who is managing the restaurant and who the chef is on the day of visiting :-/

Was sent wrong pizza, a vegan one instead of one with normal cheese. Think the restaurant got mixed up as there were also other vegan pizzas ilas part of the same order. Unfortunately didn't like the taste so it was wasted. Rest of the order was fine and as ordered.

Celiac friendly with great service!! Not only do they offer GF options for most of the menu (& pizza bases that taste & are crispy like sourdough ones), they also commit to no cross-contamination (unlike so many). Plus, Paula's service is both friendly and professional; she flitted easily between customers chatting, smiling and checking in as needed but not obtrusively. If you want good food in a friendly and atmospheric sitting, this is your place.

Delivery time was initially 45mins. Time kept being adjusted to later and later. Food eventually turned up almost 2 hours after ordering. Food was cold, dry and tough, like it had been sat under a heat lamp for over an hour. Very expensive for a very disappointing meal.

We collected on time but the pizzas were cold. The mozzarella bites were still lovely and warm though. Quality is excellent but cold food is not good

We order around once a week and prezzo is always our favourite. Tonight the chicken Caesar salad wasn’t good. I think the chicken is very low quality and was inedible as very gristly. I was concerned it wasn’t cooked properly at first but think it was just very poor quality meat. Such a shame

Went here for my birthday Friday 10th November 2023 and loved every minute of it! The food was great, drinks were lovely and the waitresses were all fantastic especially Paula who was super friendly and made my night so special by arranging a candle to go into my pudding and singing happy birthday to me. Would happily go back 😊

Two Freezing cold, stale pizzas. Like it’s been left out. Literally had better quality pizza eating leftovers in the morning after. Absolutely gutted.

Took ages for Just Eat to even assign a driver, who got to the restaurant quickly but sat there for ages. Food was delivered cold, really expensive for the portion size, the garlic breads and cheese pizza all lost their cheese because the foil lined paper bags they were in had all been squished. Wouldn’t order online again, may be better to dine in, the flavour was good, just expensive especially when delivered cold.

Friendly staff and food was pretty good (although could have been warmer), but adult portions very small, and children’s meals the size and appearance of something you’d give a pet rabbit. Very expensive for what we got - can’t justify a return visit, which is a shame as we’ve been coming here for years.

Been coming here for years and whilst some might say it's just another chain high street restaurant, the food here is always excellent. Today we attended and as ever it was lovely. The wonderful Paula looked after us. Always smiling, happy and tending to our every need immeadiately. She, and the other staff were also entertaining several birthday parties with cake and song. She was a delight. Thank you Paula.

Paula is so attentive and described the new menu items with passion. She even remembered my parents in law and their last order. The service and food are consistently good.

The food came and it was absolutely tiny. I had a salad and it came in a tiny box. Paid about £14 for it. Was ridiculous. Will never order from here again.

I was unable to cancel my order. I tried to contact the restaurant and just eat without success. I was unable to change the collection with delivery. Not able to collect.

I ordered at 5:45, it gave delivery time of by 6:30, food turned up at 7:35. I tried calling the restaurant numerous times over a 45 minute period and no one picked up. When the food did arrive it was cold.

The meals we ordered were absolutely delicious. We had a Spinach Creste Di Gallo with Pesto, Peas, and Burrata, a beef in chianti sauce with mushroom mash and a chicken in a marsala sauce and a side of fries, plus 2 portions of seasonal vegetables. There was a problem with my side vegetable dish, but it was quickly rectified. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating. Nothing seemed too much trouble. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Delivery driver wasn’t very good. He called me, and said he was outside. I told him to go around the front of the building to press the buzzer for me to let him in. He then didn’t respond on the phone, but hung up. My boyfriend went down to see where he was and he was just sat on his moped in the car park. My boyfriend asked if he couldn’t find front and he didn’t respond, so my boyfriend collected the food and came back

Food was cold and was honestly thrown together. No care put into it. Too much onion and just massive pieces for other toppings. Garlic bread was the size of a pitta and difficult to bite through let alone chew and swallow. Again cold.

Far to expensive.. I'm guessing most people go here with their clubcard vouchers? It makes you feel like your getting a good deal. Over £16 for a lasagne which although tasted nice enough nothing else came with it and it was a pretty thin slab. I purchased a side of garlic bread to go with it which was another £5 plus. Service was good and food tasted nice but expensive for not alot. We paid up and went into the little sainsbury for some ice cream.

Helping getting smaller . Everting felt less

Bad experience sadly. Ordered lasagne after a couple of mouthfuls of the edge didn’t think it was very warm so cut into the middle and it was stone cold. Called waitress over who took it away and bought a second one, I cut into middle and it was exactly the same freezing cold. By this point I did not want another replacement. Waitress was very friendly and removed my food and drink from the bill. But I won’t be back to this Prezzo again!

Food was good, but paid £18 for a tiny chicken burger & even smaller portion of fries

We went last night for my son’s 6th birthday meal with family. The food was great but the staff were amazing and they made my sons birthday! They were so accommodating and let him “help” them and then to top it off he wanted a mixture of 2 puddings and they did exactly what he wanted and even sang happy birthday to him ! - thank you for making it such a lovely evening!

Expensive and the food was average in comparison to cost only card payment excepted and staff not very helpful over all won't dine again there 😔

Prezzo never fails to disappoint, gave them 3 chance and each time the food has been below par or had an issue. Never again.

The order was wrong - we asked for tre gusti but got pepperoni. But it was very fast.

The food this evening was very poor. The fries were clearly reheated and not fresh. The pizza was almost cold and the pasta quite dry. It felt as if the restaurant had just opened and only had leftover food from yesterday to reheat for delivery purposes. This is the last time I order takeaway from Prezzo.

Maitride was very grumpy and not at all welcoming, usually nice lady who is lovely He was also v put out that we had a jug of water, Instead if our usual round of wine and beer! Pizza order was made wrong and had to go back Shame as my son over from USA, so not the best experience!

The food was cold, pizza was delivered upside down and 25 minutes late

First time in Prezzo's, it was a gift from a freind a 3 course set meal with a glass of wine. We don't like wine so this was changed for a soft drink with no problems. Food was very good, service was very good. We will definitely go again.

Food is becoming really disappointing for prezzo, barely any topping on pizza. Husband had to ask for more topping as was sparse on last visit but decided to give it one more visit . We were sat on really bad positioned table by stairs, till and loads of pizza boxes when lots of tables available in the restaurant. Toilets could do with cleaning always stink and today was no exception . Won’t be coming back used to love prezzo. Sad because the food used to be good which would excuse the moody service and increased prices. Never write reviews but feel it’s needed

Nice food, we had a Tastecard and if we hadn't , I'd say it's too pricey for what you get, which is, after all heated up pre prepared food The waitress was very pleasant.

Love this prezzo. Excellent location, right next to the car park (pay and display, but free on Sunday) . We were put in a lovely booth, loads of space. Service was excellent, quick, friendly and polite. Food was delivered quick and fresh, and empty plates all round. Make sure to book, but highly recommend paying a visit.
