Prezzo - Letchworth in North Hertfordshire

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here with Mum & sis after shopping in Letchworth. The food is always superb and the service is second to none (Agnieska goes above & beyond to help, recommending dishes and drinks, and highlighting any special menus or deals, she is a real credit to the company and a genuinely lovely person). We always enjoy our time here and leave feeling very satisfied!

We celebrated my Mom’s birthday today and the service was outstanding and very welcoming and on the top of that, food was delicious. Thank you so much team Letchworth. We’ll be back soon :)

Great Food, Great Service, Good atmosphere but decor due for a refresh?

Very friendly and helpful staff as we had 2 disabled people to seat and they found a suitable place where they felt comfortable Food was quick in being served and was wonderful

We always feel very welcome and looked after by all the staff but especially the female manager, and Jordan behind the bar. Food delicious. No complaints here. It’s one of our favourites in Letchworth and great after a Broadway Cinema visit.

Aga was wonderfully helpful and attentive.

I booked a table a 8pm, at 9.15pm I asked for a dessert menu and was told the kitchen was closed. I would have expected to be warned that the kitchen was closing so we could have ordered desserts in time. The meal was to celebrate my 40th birthday so it was a disappointing end. My friend offered our feedback to the waiter when she was paying and he just grunted at her. They were desperate to get rid of the remaining tables as quickly as possible and the waitress had changed into her casual clothes while we were still finishing our bottle of wine. Such a shame as we were regular customers and had always had a nice experience previously.

I had a voucher that I wasn’t allowed to use, even tho the T&Cs did not state that it couldn’t be used…. Every time I’ve been to this restaurant and I have a voucher, I’ve been given an excuse as to why I can’t use one. At Xmas I was told they’re not taking vouchers even though the Voucher details were met. And again in this visit - met all the voucher details and was told I couldn’t use it. I’m not sure I’ll visit the establishment again

It's always nice when we visit Prezzo. Lovely food, and ambience. I was a bit confused when I was told I am unable to use my Gourmet Society card. It's the main reason we go, can someone explain as it has put me off somewhat

I ordered a ham and mushroom pizza as it was on offer through Just Eat. I've never had food from here so thought i would give it a go. I'm unlikely to order from prezzo again. The pizza base was so thin that if they actually put any tomato base on it, it would create a soggy bottom, so rather than make the dough slightly thicker they barely put any sauce on. It also arrived cold and so the cheese has set hard again and the whole lot came off the pizza with the 1st bite. The mushrooms however, were the star of the show for me and the only part of the pizza I actually enjoyed. I would have been really annoyed had I paid £16 for it. I think I'll stick to

Second time coming to prezzo and I can happily say it’s now one of my favourite places to eat. Great dishes, great presentation, attentive, helpful and kind staff and reasonable speed. Would definitely recommend

Went to dine with my friend as soon as we walker in a female member of staff had a very rude attitude. We asked to be seated outside as it was a beautiful day she didn't seem happy she had to come and clean a table. When my friend asked a question she was so rude we left without ordering went across the road to turquoise kitchen instead and had a amazing meal. We really love prezzo but unfortunately the experience at this branch means we will not be returning.

Absolutely dreadful, booked for 6pm for Mother’s Day, arrived, front office house staff saying they have been so busy “but only with bookings” clearly not the case as the place was rammed. Said no tables free but could make up a table near the bar which was filthy, we said we’d prefer not to sit there as we had young kids. Lady rolled her eyes and left us sitting at the bar to wait for a clean table somewhere else then proceeded to give the next clean table to the proper who arrived after us? When we questioned her it was because “we didn’t want the makeshift table they would try and put near the bar” rude and unapologetic. Never had bad service before from a Prezzo however this has truly ruined the experience and Mother’s Day meal out.

We had an excellent family meal on Saturday. The food and staff were very good.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Prezzo! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and generous portions. A special shoutout to our waitress, Shannen, who truly made our evening even better. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her service was outstanding, and she made us feel so valued as customers. Overall, it was a fantastic visit, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Waited around 20 minutes just for the starter and then another 50 minutes for our mains to come. A table next to us had gotten their mains and desserts in the time we waited for our mains to come. And that was before having to go to the kitchen to ask how long our food will be.

Ordered because of the short delivery time but kept getting delayed. And food was lukewarm by the time it turned up. Disappointing.

Been here lots of times and never any issues. Manageress and staff amazing despite being really busy and short staffed. Food really nice but would like more gluten free options. Cannot recommend enough

Really declining - been coming for years but it’s not good now. Filthy entrance - disinterested staff and food took less than 3 mins to arrive - great if you want speed. Not so good if you want fresh. Fish tasted very off so left it. No checking to see if food ok. Really zero interest. Ideal for a 15 min food break before cinema if the taste/quality not important.

Staff are very good, polite but friendly, and always well informed. The food was excellent and went down well. Letchworth restaurant is commendable and a great place to go after visiting the cinema.

We used to go to prezzo a lot but stopped as went down hill a bit, tonight revived our enjoyment for prezzo again really tasty food pizza was great staff helpful. Kids liked their pizza and the large classic pizza was huge...cant fault them

The Letchworth Prezzo has improved greatly in the last year-the dishes are tasty and the staff are all very friendly and helpful- we now go on a regular basis with our 6 year grandson -it is his favorite restaurant in Letchworth Garden City!

Went to celebrate my 14 year old granddaughter’s birthday. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Restaurant was clean as were the toilets. We will be back.

Always Eat here every Christmas Eve and various times during the years.Lovely food they change their menu regularly. The staff are friendly and attentive.We always have a lovely time here.We will be returning again in the near future.

Dreadful experience! The manager (didn’t catch her name) was a blonde lady with an accent and she was extremely rude! The food was awful and even though we still had 15 minutes of the bottomless brunch, after waiting 10-15 minutes each time for a refill, she refused to give us another drink as we had already paid?! This would make no difference as it’s a bottomless brunch with a set price! Really disappointed!

We went for a bottomless brunch but it was taking up to 15-20 minutes to get another drink, which as a bottomless brunch, this isn’t on! Then we paid 15 minutes before our 2 hours were up, as we wanted to just enjoy one last drink and then leave. The manager said we could not have another drink because we had already paid! No one said this to us at the time! She then continued to raise her voice and argue with us and we just gave up in the end. We will definitely not be going back here! The pizzas were also dry and burnt which didn’t help the situation. Very disappointing!

Restaurant was clean and tidy, if a little dark! The service from the staff, but particularly Paula, was exceptional! Food was very tasty, though would have preferred more vegetarian and vegan options. Note - I've been to this restaurant a few times now, several months apart, and it is ALWAYS bloody cold. Not a little chilly, properly cold.

Visited the Letchworth Prezzo for a celebration and received shocking service from one member of staff in particular. Submitted a complaint directly to Prezzo and 2 weeks on haven't had any response from them. Shocking service!!

Excellent service and great food

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time last night, and I can honestly say it was the worst experience I've had with a pizza place. The garlic bread with mozzarella and balsamic onions arrived without mozzarella or onions—just a dry, burnt crust with a massive hole in the middle. It was like chewing on sandpaper. Both pizzas were stone cold and missing toppings, making them completely inedible. The entire order ended up in the bin. To top it off, the delivery was late. If you're looking for disappointment, poor quality food, and frustration, this is the place for you. It feels like they don't even read the orders or care about what they serve. How they're still in business is beyond me. We certainly won’t be ordering again.

courier was sat waiting at the restaurant for a while which pushed my delivery back to 30 minutes later. When it eventually arrived the food was stone cold. The pizza had rocket on it, including under the other toppings so couldn't be heated up.

Ordered a delivery via Just Eat. Waited for three hours. Order didn’t arrive, never started or cooked. Tried to call the restaurant, no answer. £33 spent and no food. Seeking compensation via Just East. Awful.

Order never arrived. Prezzo did not answer the phone. Utter disgrace.

Absolutely shocking. Do not order from this place. Get the order wrong after being late. And do not bother picking up the phone when trying to rectify it. Avoid completely!

Had the fish. V good. Service good and very easy to deal with Tesco coupons. Lunch for 4 around £130.

This is our easy go to place. With a teenage coeliac and a fussy 10 year and we know that they will both find something to eat. We also like that you can take your own birthday cake in, which is great when you need something gluten free.

Didn't book but no trouble getting a table for dinner on a Sunday. Plenty of options for food and the servers were excellent; the perfect blend of professional and friendly. Recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially as you can always find a discount code online too!

We had a fabulous anniversary meal with the family at Prezzo and it didn’t disappoint. The lady Manager at Letchworth is so lovely and runs the restaurant brilliantly - it is a credit to you. Quality of food and portion size does not match what you get in the restaurant. There is almost no sauce on the pasta and it was barely luke warm. Tastes reheated and not freshly cooked like in the restaurant.

Ordered the plain tomato based vegan marinara pizzas (which is my usual) and received two margaritas with cheese which I can not eat, I do not eat dairy.

Nice food. However the prices have gone up to an extent that they are pricing themselves out of reach. £17 for a Pizza is a bit extreme. £19.50 for a chicken burger is off the scale. Paula our waitress was lovely but it is very expensive for what is on offer. Enjoyed the food but at these prices, not sure we'll go back.

I am writing this review a little bit late, just got caught up in life. However, me and my partner had a horrible experience with Prezzo in Stevenage and decided to try the Prezzo in Letchworth. If you’re thinking of going to a Prezzo, come to this one. I have never seen a server so happy to work there, I didn’t catch his name but he was young man. He was very friendly, and the food was so much better than in Stevenage. To the Letchworth Prezzo team, shoutout to you guys! 😁👍

food was freezing cold, they ignored my request for no cheese as an allergy so my partner had no meal, half the chips were missing. DIABOLICAL doesn't cut it. never ordering from here again.

Went here recently and was disappointed with the service. Food was OK though a couple of our party were not overly impressed with their mains or pudding. We were unaware that the place shut at 9.30 and were made to feel very uncomfortable from 9 o'clock, ignored my friend who wanted a coffee and proceeded to bring us the bill! Have never eaten here before and I don't think I will be going back. Given 2 stars as apart from the place it was nice to be with my work friends for a special occasion.

Went to this restaurant twice recently and felt it’s worthy of a review as both occasions were an absolute joy. Paolo was amazing in looking after us with her fantastic warm welcome and outstanding service. Her recommendations for food and drink were spot on. I hadn’t been to Prezzo’s for a long while but I will be returning very soon. Great news menus that change regularly which is a refreshing change for a large group of restaurants. Well done Prezzo’s Letchworth, you are all a credit to the chain.

Tried calling restaurant over 20 times but they did not answer. I needed to make sure my burger didn’t come with cheese as I am allergic. Burger arrived covered in melted cheese so I couldn’t eat it. So all I could eat was the cold chips

Food was cold. Delivery time said 8 mins. Then went up to 10 mins. Then longer as other orders were clearly delivered first. By the time it got to us, all the food was cold!

Garlic bread was completely Edible Didn’t like paper rockhard more like a poppadom than a garlic bread and it was tiny the size of a teacup plate To be honest, they should be ashamed of their self charging £7.95 And delivering that The food just gets smaller and smaller portions and the Prices seem to go up and up

Shame. Food was really good. However no offer for dessert and wasn’t told last order for drinks. Staff couldn’t get care less.

We were at the Letchworth branch of Prezzo. We were served by a couple of staff members when Paula came on shift. She was a ray of sunshine. I highly recommend the bottomless brunch. We came here before and Aga was amazing. We had a lovely afternoon.

Too expensive and small portions. Waitresses very good and tried so hard but menu has been changed and the old favourites now gone. Food we had was ok, but portions far too small, been going Prezzos for years, but sorry to say with massive price increases and small portion size wont be back 😞

Sadly when the food arrived the pizza was cold. Disappointing.

Driver delivered to the wrong address and couldn’t work his device. Had to stand in next door,s driveway in the pouring rain inputting my date of birth on his phone as the bag was splitting as it got wet.

Very expensive for what you get. I ordered chicken rigatoni al forno but the pasta seemed to have been boiled and quite possibly never saw the inside of an oven. No cheese or creamy sauce, just watery pasta with some herbs, a couple of slices of pepper and tomatoes. Completely different experience to what you get for the same price in the restaurant. I’d go there to eat still, but will never order for delivery again.

This review is for delivery, not eating in the restaurant. The restaurant experience is good and we love it, but the food received via delivery was nowhere near the standard you get when eating in. My not inexpensive (£15.95) chicken rigatoni al forno is a favourite when eating there, but the version I received at home was appalling. Costing the same price I would expect the same standard of food, but the meal was watery, seemed to have zero cheese or creamy sauce, had a couple of slices of pepper and tomato. Very, very disappointed. Didn’t seem like it had even been in an oven. We’ll still go and eat at the restaurant, but will never order a delivery again.

Came for a meal after being at the cinema, I had garlic bread with balsamic onions and mozzarella, very poor value for money with little mozzarella and balsamic onion relish , making it very dry around all the edges, my burger was nice but had barely any fries, so much to my wife's embarrassment I asked for a few more fries which the waitress said yes sure and brought a fresh bowl of fries to which was later added to our bill at the cost of £4.50 which I had removed for the mere pitiful amount initially on my plate, overall poor value for the money and I won't return.

Toilet smell was disgusting. Waiter sat us right near the stairs leading to the smelly toilets. Gaining attention to be served was very poor

Service was poor. Staff talking amongst themselves. The way up.to the toilets stank disgusting. Our table was right by the walk up to.the toilets . Will never visit again.

What a disaster not offered meal deal or lunch menu after being seated.Ordered foccacia which we thought was similar to a toasted sandwich. It came and the bread was cold and the filling was even colder.we questioned whether it should have been hot and were told no it came cold. We told them we would like it heated it then came back with hot bread but not a hot filling by which time our other friend had finished her ravioli so we had to eat alone.No other explanation. When paying the bill we were not asked if everything was satisfactory. I certainly would not recommend this restaurant. I welcome your comments and perhaps a loyalty contribution to a decent meal Diane

First time Prezzo Bottomless Brunch! Excellent selection of cocktails for those who do not like Prosecco. We were looked after and drinks were topped up when finished! Over all very happy and would definitely do the bottomless brunch again/ recommend!! 🥂

Order was picked up at 13:00 from the restaurant but was only marked as picked up in the app at 13:40. Pizza arrived cold at 13:45

I went to Prezzo Letchworth recently and was very disappointed at the level of service. I had booked a table for 7pm for 3 people. When we arrived it was extremely busy and there was people in front of us and quite a lot queueing behind us also. The person taking our name and booking reference was very unprofessional and looked on the computer and said your table isn't ready as they've overstayed .. as happened with the previous people !!! She also said the computer system allows for 1 hour and 15 minutes. I was shocked - that is definitely not enough time to be seated - order some drinks - look at the menu and choose your meal and then order, without then choosing a dessert if you want one. I really think they need to consider changing their system. You need at least 2 hours in my opinion. People go to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and have a chat with family or friends. Not be rushed out of the restaurant. Having said that the food was good but sadly I cannot say the same about the service. When it came to paying - I paid the bill and normally when you pay by card they give you the machine to make a decision if you wish to leave a tip or not ..unfortunately the waitress was standing right on my shoulder watching what I was doing and I was not happy at all - completely inappropriate - in my opinion. We will be going somewhere different next time.

food was typically OK from prezzo, just a bizarre place to eat got sat down with music from the restaurant playing and then had house/rave music coming from where the pizza stove is and 2 cooks just standing there staring as we eat ? 🤔

Really is hit and miss at Prezzo in Letchworth, service and food quality seems to be dependant on who is managing the restaurant and who the chef is on the day of visiting :-/

Was sent wrong pizza, a vegan one instead of one with normal cheese. Think the restaurant got mixed up as there were also other vegan pizzas ilas part of the same order. Unfortunately didn't like the taste so it was wasted. Rest of the order was fine and as ordered.

Celiac friendly with great service!! Not only do they offer GF options for most of the menu (& pizza bases that taste & are crispy like sourdough ones), they also commit to no cross-contamination (unlike so many). Plus, Paula's service is both friendly and professional; she flitted easily between customers chatting, smiling and checking in as needed but not obtrusively. If you want good food in a friendly and atmospheric sitting, this is your place.

Delivery time was initially 45mins. Time kept being adjusted to later and later. Food eventually turned up almost 2 hours after ordering. Food was cold, dry and tough, like it had been sat under a heat lamp for over an hour. Very expensive for a very disappointing meal.
