Service is ridiculous slow had to ask for order to be taken, food too an age to arrive, had to wait ages for card machine to pay, was at a point of walking out

Went to Prezzo's this evening, have been several times before and found it acceptable. Felt compelled to review after the awful experience I had tonight. We booked the table for 6 pm and it wasn't overly busy. We were sat waiting for 15 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order, which in a half empty restaurant feels like an eternity. Then when I ordered my food (burger italiano) I specified beef burger not chicken burger as both options were on the menu, of course, I got the chicken burger. The waiter apologised and bought the correct order shortly afterwards. The food was fine. When the waitress came to take our plates, she asked if we would like the dessert menu, we said yes, and then after waiting for a further 15 minutes, with no menu forthcoming, we then asked for the bill as we were unsure if we would ever see the dessert menu. A terrible experience all round I'm afraid.

Great food service a little slow

always buy from Prezzo, great food, but this time they forgot about the pizza I ordered, have got in touch with just eat, I hope I get this resolved.

Great pizza and pasta dishes here with friendly staff. Visited on a blazing hot day with a friend yesterday and had pasta rustica- delicious. Nice atmosphere with not too loud background music which is important as my friend had hearing aids. Nice cool aircon too. Super lunch.

Food was lovely, served quickly.

Disappointing Birthday Dinner Experience We recently visited Prezzo for my husband's birthday dinner, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, which was extremely tasteless. For drinks, I had the Spiced Rum Punch, but I couldn’t even tell if it contained any rum at all. For my daughter, we ordered plain pasta with meatballs, which was just as tasteless as my meal. Additionally, we were charged £8.50 for her meal, even though the kids' menu is advertised as a 3-course meal for £8.50. This discrepancy was not mentioned to us at any point during our visit. The food quality and taste were far below our expectations, and overall, the dining experience was very disappointing. Regrettably, this was likely our last visit to Prezzo.

wouldn't bother. charged me ok but then didn't deliver half of the items after making me wait an eternity. we know it's not fresh from Prezzo so no need for it to be hours and then get it all wrong. time they closed the Peterborough branch as theybare bad

Went for my daughters birthday was 9 of us, service was brilliant, food served piping hot and delicious, didnt wait long considering 9 different plates, will definitely go back! Staff were all lovely

Ordered Spaghetti Bolanaise got Spaghetti with Bacon Pieces!??.. I would called up and complained but went to sleep without eating, eating it a day later opened it up and just realised. Sort it out guys :(

Food was great. Service was very fast at first, then terribly slow. We got and finished our mains within 30 minutes. We then waited for 45 minutes (wait staff kept looking at us and proceeding to stand around doing nothing). When my 45 minute timer went off, I had to walk up to the wait staff standing around and tell them I would like to order dessert. The restaurant was basically empty while we were there.

I visited this Prezzo with my mum on a Friday lunchtime in January 2024. We were served by Paula, who was very friendly and professional. We ordered a simple meal of Rigatoni Arabiatta and Pumpkin Ravioli with a side order of garlic bread. Everything was really delicious and hot. The restaurant is huge and there were only three tables occupied, which reduced the atmosphere somewhat but this isn't really a surprise on a cold mid-week lunchtime in January. Paula was excellent, as was the food and I would definitely recommend.

It's a Friday evening, and it's nearly Christmas. The restaurant was busy, yet the staff stepped up to make sure everyone left with a smile on their face. Consistently good.

We went to Prezzos after being invited back for a free meal and drink as our previous visit was a disaster. The greeting we received when we arrived was ok and the service was attentive, both a lot better than the previous visit. We decided we were not going to try the pizzas again so we both went for the Truffle burger. It was tasty but when we ordered them they didn't tell us, due to the gorgonzola sauce, they would only come barely luke warm and the truffle chips just tasted like normal chips and there wasn't many of them. What we did notice was the amount of food being returned especially the pizzas. Prezzo's used to be a fantastic place to go with a good choice of really good food and drink but now it just seems to be overpriced and mediocre at best. It is a real shame it would be nice to see it return to how it used to be.

Tasty food let down by awful service

This was my first visit to Prezzo, it was fantastic! The pizza was beyond amazing!!! I would 100% visit again! Quite pricy but the taste is amazing! Price breakdown 3x pizzas: £15.45 each 2x strawberry lemonades: £3.45 each 1x Pepsi max: £3.45 each The price didn’t add up when it came out at £61.45 which is more than it should have when the math should be £56.70. Unsure why it was more but oh well!

Unfortunately, a pizza was missing from this order. This spoilt the experience for us, as all Just Eat will do is refund, so I had to order the missing item, thus incurring two delivery charges. The actual food was lovely, if only we'd got the right stuff

Unfortunately, this was a second order because our first order missed this item. So whilst a nice pizza, my hubby had to reheat his so we could eat together. I wish Just Eat would sort out incorrect orders, rather than just refund them. It does spoil the meal that's meant to be a treat.

Why would a gluten free chicken and pepper pizza have in London it. This made it almost inedible and the crust was rock hard and Luke warm cos it was so late

Took a group of 10 of us for a meal out. The service wasn't the best. Extremely slow and got our order wrong on a number of occasions. Brought out a totally different meal that none of us ordered. And brought out another wrong meal meaning someone's order was wrong and had to wait 15 minutes before theirs came out right. The meals came out staggered so we couldn't eat at the same time. 10 minutes between when one lot of orders came out to the next. The cost is rather expensive. I had carbonara and a strawberry lemonade, came to £19.45. The carbonara wasn't the best. Wasn't bad but actually thought it was on par with a ready meal. Won't be rushing back any time soon.

Awesome place nice food loved it

We had a nice diner. Ordered some pasta, pizza's and lasagne. The Merlot was fine. Service was good. We enjoyed.

My order turned up and the bag had totally split, sauce was everywhere (I have photos) one of the pasta dishes had completely spilled out of the box covering everything. Some of the chicken was even dropped on the drive way! Really disappointing considering the cost of the meal. The driver even had to clean his boot before leaving. Ruined the whole meal.

Went there when I was in England in April visiting my daughter & her partner. We read great reviews about Prezzo and wanted to try it. What a huge disappointment. The staff were perfunctory and unfriendly. The atmosphere was awful where we were seated. We were ignored for ages until our server finally took our drinks order. It took ages to order our meals and then to finally receive them. The calamari we had as an appetizer tasted as if it was from the frozen food section of a grocery store — tasteless and unappetizing. And our meals (tiny portions!) were also bland and clearly cooked using a corporate formula. I think we saw our server only three times. She never came around to see if everything was all right or if we needed anything (Yeah! A refund!) Adding salt to the wound, the prices were ridiculously high for what we got. They’ve seen the last of us a Prezzo. Save your money and go to one of the better restaurants — or even pubs — before wasting it at Prezzo.

very small portions for the price

Came for lunch as a treat for the kids. 4 adults 2 children. What a dissapounting experience. 2 adult pasta dishes were served luke warm at best, 1 pizza served luke warm which was returned and reheated into a very mediocre warmish pissa. If restaurant had been busy could understand it but it wasnt. Will not be returning Prezzo is not even in the same universe as it used to be many years ago unfortunately. Lesdon learned.

Really good food, but some of the food and drink is hideously priced! Pizza was amazing, but expensive drinks and desserts took the edge off it.

Visited in somewhat of a rush. Thankfully we were given a table. Service was both friendly and efficient. The food was very nice. I'd say reasonably pricey but I think that's common place in the current financial climate.

Very slow service (even for an initial drink) considering the place was almost empty

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. Order was over an hour late, and the driver collected my order but didn't deliver it until an hour later. It arrived squashed and spilt.

Very happy with the staff, food and drinks selection. Service was fast and staff attentive but not overly so. I would say above average for the Prezzo chain.

It was my friends daughters 18th birthday & there was 12 of us. Waitress was so lovely & nothing was too much trouble. It did take a while for the food to come out, but it was worth the wait. Would definitely recommend & return.

Starters over priced and portions too small . Not much flavour. No chicken for my main course I chose,but surprisingly had it for the tagliatelle which means it was pre cooked. Not very hot when arrived. Tasted dry Not enough sauce, and again lacked flavour. Garlic bread texture good but not enough garlic. I see why many other locations are closing. Would I return and review again ?? I don't think so not very authentic they don't even do meatballs.

Felt a little lacking on our recent visit. Wrong order cooked, food not very hot, and felt rushed to leave, a real shame from my memories of eating here in the past.

Every trip my family and I have to Prezzo Peterborough is exceptional. The staff (sveti and paula) are always so friendly, food is delicious and the Ros'e isn't too bad either, keep up the good work ladies, and we'll see you soon

A very nice, relaxing atmosphere and great for a family dinner.

A dreadful dried up, nearly cold meal that we had waited 50 minutes for . Staff didn't ask if our meal was satisfactory. I felt sorry for my grandchildren who had taken myself and my daughter for what should have been a nice Mother's day By the way we had booked a table for 12.15 goodness only knows how long other diners had to wait

My partner had the crab and lobster ravioli i was surprised by the large pakaging but definatley not worth 18 quid! My arrabiata was very standard for the price it was just heated sauce! They did do me 1 favour though, they made my pasta look and taste irresistible compared to their s and to be fair i dont know anything about pasta till today! Im now seen as a capable pasta chef thankyou for standard food at niche prices from these guys that got me my recognition!

Terrible place from being served the wrong drinks to the food which tasted ok, a bit bland really, me and my gf both had gastric problems for 2 days afterwards. I can only assume the kitchen isn't managed properly.

Very poor. The checkout seemed not to f I ncgion and it kept asking me to pY though I had already paid. I had no confidence. That I would get the meal.. I phoned Prezo themselves N d was nott pleased when. They said they knew nothing about it. It eventually it arrived _ all items were old

I mistakenly ordered to the wrong address and I explained this to the driver and offered to pay him to come to the correct address but the driver hung up

I have always wanted to visit. We tried it for my son's birthday on Valentine's Day but we were very disappointed. The Calamari started was all we enjoyed & would have again. The food is also very expensive for what you get. I will not return

Driver didn't ring doorbell or didn't check that I received the order. Just left it at front door and left. If I hadn't seen his car lights, I wouldn't of had a clue that he had made his delivery. Food on the other hand was excellent as usual.

Not impressed with this place at all. Staff were unfriendly, not at all welcoming. Menu was mediocre, food was nice but I can do better at home. Nowhere near as nice as another restaurant that serves italian food we visited previously and quite expensive especially drinks. Won't be going back in a hurry. And they only take card or contact less which we not made aware off when we booked.

Petty average food abrupt staff and very expensive for the quality of the food would not go back there there are plenty of restaurants that are cheaper and far better

Be prepared to spend a bit more than other restaurants around Peterborough city centre but you won't be disappointed. Great quality and service. Simplicity and beauty of Italian flavour.

Prezzo charges 15 pounds for an abysmal salad and 20 pounds for a pizza that they don’t even cut.

1 and a half hours for a delivery driver to be assigned then the food turned up cold 30 minutes later with the chips also being soggy.

Empty restaurant yet slow as anything, young staff not trained fully. Expect a lot better. There’s other Italian restaurants in Peterborough that are better.

selected 12.40 for our food to arrive and it came at 1.30, food would've been okay if it wasn't all cold, overall very dissapointed.
