Prezzo Italian Restaurant Bournemouth Westover Road in Bournemouth

I have waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for my meal and was given no idea on when it would be delivered as the timings just got later, I had no option to cancel my order so was confused wether to order something different then waste more money having had quite a busy day this was very upsetting. Once the food was finally delivered at 9:55pm after being ordered at 8:00 the garlic bread was hard, cold and the pasta soggy as it was sat out on the side, outrageous, I’m honestly appalled by this service.

We celebrated my nephews 9th birthday. Atmosphere, food, staff were great! Thankyou for a lovely evening

Our second visit to this Prezzo due to good location from the beach and attractions. Our little one enjoys the view of the street and watching the buses go by. Good menu selection (desert options look good too) and the food is beautifully presented. My Husband wasn’t impressed by portion size of the newly advertised pizza unfortunately (rectangle, fluffy dough). My food looked incredible but had such little taste. Sadly it’s just not great value for money. Service was OK. They seems to have a problem with small flies as they had quite a few buzzing around on both of our visits (more than a year apart and while sat in opposite locations).

Would NOT recommend. The server Olivia was friendly but very unorganised. I got the chicken Alfredo it was stone cold,I asked the server to just warm it up it came back dry and flavourless. The fries were also stone cold, came back re-heated.

Excellent experience for our party of 6, including two children. So good in fact, we went back again two nights later. Outstanding service, friendly and engaging staff who went out of their way to accommodate us and attend to our every request and need. Glorious food and a wide variety of options available on the menu to choose from. Service was quick, even during a busier period and pricing very competitive.

Service very nice but food so-so. Long waiting time for food, especially for desserts. Pizza not good. Mistakes in receipts....

Service was fine. Food was overpriced for what it was. Order was wrong which was rectified after just adding the correct ingredient to order rather than make fresh. Won't be visiting again and can't recommend.

We have been to this Prezzo many times. The prices are a little heavy given how cheap the ingredients are BUT it is always prepared well and tastes great so happy with that. The service is always good but for evening times you may need to book as it gets very busy as it is just across the road from a popular theatre so people tend to go for dinner and then the theatre. After 7pm it gets a lot quieter 😃

After a very hectic day, a 10 min walk through rain, I am greated at the restaurant by manager Matt. Unfortunately the restaurant was closing in 20 min. That made me even more sad. He came up with the great ideea to help me order as takeway, give me a 25% discount and a free drink to go with my order. Matt is a great person, I am going to go to the restaurant tomorrow and live a great tip. Thanks Matt!

Very happy with meal. At good deal as I had a voucher I could use. With an food or drink options. Although the guy was run off his feet. As not enough staff. On floor at the time.

Nice place with good atmosphere. Great for a family meeting, with friends or a date 😉. Cleanliness 5 ⭐, tables not sticky. Friendly and informative staff. Recommended for people with food allergies or intolerances.

This place was fairly quiet when we went on a Thursday night so it lacked atmosphere. The service and food was ok . I would go to a different branch of the Prezzo chain to be in a better atmosphere.

I booked table online and get rejected table when arrive. Never more in this place.

Lovely but expensive. Dining is enhanced with being served by the wonderful Roxana. Nice views out the window as you are relatively high up from street level.

Arrived and even the box was cold to the touch let alone the pizza

A 17 year olds birthday out with friends ruined by poor service and rude staff. A table booked for 1830 wasn't made available until 1900. The food orders were rushed and the staff seemed keen for them to hurry up. Then then they were told that that they had to vacate the table because it was booked by someone else, a courtesy not afforded to them on arrival. The restaurant still managed to have time to take the full service charge though.

Our entire stay was amazing top to bottom. The servers were quick and efficient, our drinks and food were brough out quickly and the food was warm and delicious.

A wonderful atmosphere great services, very friendly and attentive staff and absolutely delicious 😋 food - we will be back for more

We had a two pizzas one was cold and all off us agreed worst pizza in our life. Do not recommend tre gusti pizza. There was no quality at all. The most important they do not accept cash !

Amazing service from the staff at prezzo great atmosphere and friendly staff was sat down quick and accommodated efficiently there was a small issue with one dish but rectified swiftly.

I ordered the Prawn Risotto. It was delicious but the portion size is very small. I recommend you to order a big starter to go with it. The Chicken Alfredo was very bland, but portion size was good. Strawberry lemonade was delicious.

We loved the fact we could take our dog here. The waiters were so friendly. The food was tasty it was just a shame that we asked for things like tap water for the table, cheese and these kept getting forgotten. After asking a couple of times they did get brought to us. My pasta was delicious and piping hot and my biscoff cheesecake was tasty.

Quite busy because of concert, served quickly and efficiently.

We came there with family and there was empty, outside, few tables inside, we were waiting, they came to us after 15 min. And said all booked and we have no spaces...

Totally my wore experience of a restaurant & customer service I booked via phone as they don’t pick up there phone get given a reservation was passed from both branches that I paid taxi fairs to get to go be told they will not serve me because kitchen closed staff did not care & rude & that was the manager did not show one bit of care that we was let with no place to go for a meal will be posting youtube video to show staff’s attitude will place a link so it can be seen for your self before thinking of booking hear be warned a email or message saying you have a booking means nothing Good Luck but advise any place else

Everything that was delivered was fine, didn’t receive the hummus dip part of the order but received the pitta bread and didn’t receive either cheesecakes or one of the dips ordered with our pizzas. Tried ringing but was kept on hold or sent through to an automated booking service. Overall very disappointed as we just wanted a nice night in in awful weather and this just ruined the early part of our meal.

I love eat on prezzo, this one is my favourite because of the view. The food is amazing, and the staff always kind.

After a poor experience a while ago we decided we'd try again in the hope that this place may have improved slightly. It had in fact got worse. The foods ok. The place itself is ok. The service was shocking. After an hour of waiting we asked 3 different members of staff where our meals were. They all went off to check but never returned. The honest thing they could have done was to explain our order hadn't gone through and not avoid our table in the hope it would soon be ready. No apologies, no have a drink on us while you wait another 20 minutes. Finally after the hour and 15 minutes we waited for a pizza the manager did give us a big discount and apologise but unfortunately the damage was already done. Unfortunately this restaurant seems to employee only 3 staff members to fulfill a full restaurant. Most likely more cost cutting which is affecting what potentially could be a nice place to dine especially being close to the beach and theatre.

Fantastic and authentic Italian food. Really personel and really friendly menager. Highly recommended.

Great staff and service. Went here for my daughters birthday last Sunday and we were very well looked after. There were 11 of us & the service, food and quality was excellent - much better than service and food experienced at the BH2 branch. Would def go back :-)

We had a lovely visit to Prezzo. Bart was our waiter and was smiley and a great waiter, he kept coming back to our table to check if we needed anything and service was fast. Our food was good, and the table was clean and restaurant well presented. Also no service charge on a group less than 7 people, but we left a tip as it was well earned! We would return again.

This restaurant definitely did not disappoint but at the same time doesn’t excited me to value it 5 stars! The atmosphere have an Italian touch and is inviting, he staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food selection it’s ok, but it’s not an Italian taste. I would recommend Prezzo for eat when you are travelling for business without expect a real Italian dining experience!

Prezzo service was top notch. We had eaten there the day before and had enjoyed the warm hearty meals they cooked which were served at the right temperature and ordered more the following night. I definitely recommend. Their pizza base is perfect and not too heavy

Went here many years ago in the summer and sat on the terrace, went back in the middle of winter and had a beautiful pizza, the staff are lovely and so happy it's just as good!

My cold pizza arrived 2hours late and was so thin and crispy more like a baked tortilla than pizza dough.

Great food, but absolutely standout service from the waitress Ashanti. Attentive, friendly and an absolute credit to prezzo. We will return just because of her amazing service.

Food tasted good packaging good not quite hot enough

Ordered ribs and brought within 10 minutes[surprised]. Only be served burnt, hard ribs. The meaty part of it sounded like bones when knocked against the plate. NO APOLOGIES. Only served another half a rack slightly better to make up for full burnt r a ck.

You know what you will get at Prezzo, good Italian food. Not very busy, waitress a little eager to serve us felt rushed.

Have been here a few times and although service can be slow the waitresses are always nice. But last night we experienced the worst attitude with our service - eye rolls, no smile and not accommodating. Almost wanted to leave within the first 5 minutes. Food was lovely as it always is. But such a shame as we were trying to have a nice girly meals for being in a similar industry we know how your service can affect the night.

Probably the best italian meal i have ever had. The spaghetti carbonara was perfect, everything was cooked exactly right. The starters were amazing, and there was a huge selection on the menu.

I did miss an item from my order which was frustrating but overall the meal was quality.

Very disappointed with our meal tonight. Only here for the weekend for our honeymoon and wish we didn’t waste our money. The pizza was bland and the chicken ceaser salad had hardly any sauce despite me asking for extra and I also asked for no egg (as I can’t eat eggs) and it came with the egg so I had to throw most of the chicken as the egg had touched it! Very very upset if I’m honest.

No cutlery and in an hotel. Chips we’re supposed to be large and paid for large but were small plus has a fishy taste and I’m vegan so through away sorry

Ceaser salad was rank, apparently poached eggs are pre-cooked then re-heated in microwave 🤮. Few slices of dried cucumber, dry lettuce and medioca chicken. Waited 20 minutes for a drink. Not impressed.

Fantastic food as usual for a prezzo, but the staff at this restaurant are so friendly and accommodating that it bumps it to 5 stars for me! Even during the busiest time when we didn't have a reservation they found us a table and service was speedy, personal and friendly. I would recommend going later in the evening if you want to dine without every child in Bournemouth though! 😂

Not particularly impressed. Surly waitress. My meal was poor - chicken breast was tough and dry. When I spoke to the waitress about it she wasn’t interested. Disappointing.

Not a good meal tonight .. shame because we like prezzo . The food was cold when served . We were in a bit of a rush as we were going over to the pavilion . The waiter was really nice and apologetic and we did not pay for the mains but not really the point . We wouldn’t go back to this one in west over road . Sorry

Staff was cold and not friendly at all with me and my girl, the waiter following my request to order made a very annoyed face and the others seemed bothered too upon serving us the meal. Manager was great. Food ok.

Lovely restaurant and very helpful waiter, was served and seated very quickly. Helps to pre-book ahead of your visit.

Expensive drinks and food, it was nice what we had but would not rush back!

Service took a long while and food was not the best in taste. Otherwise, everything else was ok.

Got there early,they couldn't find the booking,I felt I was being shouted at by the first waitress,she really needs to dial it down a few decibels.I felt £3.50p for a small glass of orange juice and lemonade was a bit OTT. The waitress that we got to actually serve us was great,but the ambience not great. Not much in the way of greeting,no welcome with a smile,management needs to get a grip on how it's staff interface with people. Remember we all have a choice where we eat.

Good food slow service seems like a lot of néw staff hopefully service will improve in a couple of weeks when they are trained
