Legitimately the worst pizza I have ever eaten... Granted, this food was ordered via Deliveroo however it took 3 hours to arrive... 3 hours!We ordered the pepperoni pizza, sharer garlic bread and a child's Bolognese... The pizza was burnt on one side, raw on the other and had not even been cut and the cheese tasted like plastic. The garlic bread also had not been cut and tasted like cardboard. The pasta was blatantly old and not fresh as well as being bland and overcooked. I honestly will never eat food from this restaurant ever againThe only saving grace is that we were issued a full refund...

Such a shame!! Service was slow but staff where very polite considering the complaints!! However the food was awful, starters overpriced and thrown on the plate, pizzas dry, burnt, and I saw only two shavings of cheese on one side of my pizza!! Pasta disgusting with one piece of chicken. Deserts average. Such a shame as this was always a great place to eat in a lovely location but we won’t be returning.

When we arrived all the outside tables were reserved but we were told that they weren't, it was to make you have to go through the staff to be seated. This was so they could explain that they were very short staffed so food may take longer to arrive, especially when there was a lunch time rush. We accepted that as only one other table had people on. Food arrived in good time and was all good. We were there for at least an hour and didn't see any lunchtime rush. Maybe the reserved signs put people off.Lovely views, sunny day, nice food and staff were very friendly and attentive. Ideal. We will be back.

Even with the restaurant nearly empty the service and whole experience was poor.The drinks on arrival were being served at the bar. Then not being served at the bar. Then told wait for waitress service. Which didn’t exist for an hour. Then we were told no cash payments. Too late. We’d brought cash. ( why is this info not on the website or told when booking?!)The food took ages to come and finally when it did we had no cutlery, then half the ingredients of the salad were missing, then there was cucumber wrapped in cling film. One thing after another. I hate to think how bad it would be if the restaurant was full!!! I know there was staff shortages due to Covid but tell your guests at yeh reason why you are delayed. Communication is key

Paid for a click a collect meal. Not complex, 3 mains, 1 side, 1 dessert. Took ages to park anywhere near - not really the fault of Prezzo. Eventually got the food, sealed in two paper bags. The mains were ok except my carbonara didn't have any prosciutto as advertised (something they keep forgetting on a regular basis and the most favourite part of the meal as far as I'm concerned,. If I was eating in I would've mentioned it - as usual - but didn't have that option). More unfortunately my pregnant daughter who was craving some broccoli and wanted some fresh veg didn't get what she'd ordered. Instead the broccoli somehow morphed into calamari (yuk from the whole family!) and some greasy chips in a box. Really? Reasonably small order, but couldn't even get that right. Quite pathetic really, not worth the trouble. Won't be clicking and collecting again!

Prezzo fair is standard across the brand, but the location of this Prezzo, in Royal William Yard, gets the prize for best location ever! We sat outside as the weather was warm and sunny. Inside looked very nice too. Customer service was excellent.I still cannot believe how many people turn up to restaurants on a Friday or Saturday night without a booking, especially in Covid times.

We brought my disabled Mother to Prezzo for lunch, all the tables were empty outside and only four tables taken inside. My wife went inside to ask for menus where she was abruptly greeted with do you have a booking. To which she replied no. She was then told that only 1 waiter was working and therefore they could not serve us without a booking. Guess the government has looked after prezzo to well during the pandemic as this is pathetic customer service. If a waiter can not handle 1 more table. Well certainly won't touch Royal William yard Prezzo again and would be hard pushed to touch any of the chain.

This has recently opened in the new Royal William Yard Prezzo is a lovely building. The food is lovely and the staff really helpful. I would give it 5 stars but thought the carbonara was a bit bland.

We had booked for a birthday celebration. Staff was lovely and enthusiastic. We really enjoyed our Aperol spritz and dessert but were let down by our pizzas that were mediocre. They were not bad but the toppings quality/quantity was not up to standard. Seco Lounge seems to be OK for a quick bite but not so much for proper dinner.

Ordered with a group of friends for the England game, carbonara was dry, no sauce and the pasta was completely over cooked with half a soggy mushroom in the corner and maybe 3 slithers of bacon. I'm coeliac and had a reaction from this the next day. I will never visit again and have warned coeliac friends to avoid this place.

We had an enjoyable lunch here with a voucher we were given for Christmas. My partner has several intolerances and when explaining this the duty manager took over our table. He was very thorough with checking the ingredients and advising on suitable options. Eating out can often be a stressful experience for us but the Manager was super helpful and we had a great experience, thank you.

As a Coeliac, I have to be careful what I eat and some restaurants have a very limited choice but not so Prezzos. I had King Prawns in a very tasty sauce together with G-F flat-bread. I had the grilled sea bass, again in a super tasty sauce, washed down with a large glass (apparently you can have wine in smaller glasses!) of Sauvignon Blanc. Well done to Ross who served us. Apparently, it was his first week but you wouldn't have known. Efficient and with a good sense of humour.

Service was absolutely amazing and everyone who served us was very attentive and kind. I’m coeliac and they had good options for me, but to find out what I could and couldn’t have was very difficult and didn’t seem to be much knowledge. The food was very disappointing, I had the carbonara bake with gluten free pasta and it was incredibly dry we had to ask for extra sauce which wasn’t great even with the extra. Ended up feeling very poorly afterwards so I feel there may have been some cross contamination or a mistake been made possibly. All in all a bit disappointing food wise and wasn’t a very good meal, but service was great. Glad I had my student 25% off because I wouldn’t have paid full price!

It’s a pity as the ambience and staff were excellent,but the food was great disappointment to the extent of direct comparison with a supermarket take away…… Both my starter and main course were drowned in tin tomato’s with minimal distinctive flavours….The optional chicken and cheese did save the meal, but these were extras! ZI “proposed” to my wife here a few years ago and we return for our anniversary meal but alas, once again food quality remains average…….

The staff was super nice and ready to accommodate our requests. From the pastas to the pizza and the desserts, everything was perfect, not a bad thing to say. Drinks to try: passion fruit spritz (at least a couple). Very thoughtful and attentive to the needs of the client. We were there with my dog, sat outside, and they were super nice to her, they even brought a bowl of water without having to ask.

Visited during the Bank Holiday in May and had a wonderful meal. Ordered king prawns and calamari for starters and a large pepperoni pizza and sea bass for mains, plus a kids meal. I had mistakenly thought that I would be able to use a voucher but the Manager was really kind and despite the error on my side, he let me use my voucher. It’s things like this that make you feel really positive and keep you coming back. In addition, we were served by Rachel who was so lovely and friendly. She was so keen to make sure that we had a good visit that she couldn’t do enough to help us. Covid restrictions have a funny way of making a place seem unwelcoming but not here! Big thank you Rachel.The food was wonderful and we enjoyed every bit. Thank you for a lovely experience Prezzo. We will be back!

Out celebrating a work colleagues special birthday last night , sat outside enjoying the fabulous views and evening sunshine, but that's where the good bit ends!! We all ordered individually from the app, so things did come out in dribs and drabs, however after waiting nearly 40 mins the majority of colleagues had already received their meals, leaving 3 of us waiting (2 only waiting for chips), we had already asked 3 times and we were then offered a round of free non-alcoholic drinks as an apology, we then asked twice more and waited a further 30 mins, before our food eventually turned up and the chips were cold, but we were too hungry to complain. Another colleague had her food turn up with cheese on it despite being dairy free and noting this on the app, twice before they got it right for a 3rd time and it wasn't that hot either. I know everybody is returning to work after a long period - but I've visited other restaurants since lockdown restrictions have eased and they've managed it, pull your finger out Prezzo!!

Visited on the 23rd with family (including 2 children) It was extremely busy so we waited 20 minutes for our drinks but we accepted that because of how busy it was. Starters came out around 20 minutes after the drinks and they were nice. Mains followed around 15 minutes after that. 3 pizzas and 2 pasta dishes. Pizzas were ok but not great but both pasta dishes were cold. Mine was a penne arrabiata, I also noticed some strands of spaghetti in there which I wasn’t too bothered about however I decided to tell the waitress that my meal was freezing. She took it away and returned about 5 minutes later and said don’t worry I watched them cook it again. I could already tell by looking at it, it had just been reheated with a burnt chilli put on top for decoration but what gave it away was the same few spaghetti strands in it.... And apart from being cold the dish was extremely disappointing, all I could taste was tomato. Never ever order an arrabiata as it’s not authentic at all... Prezzo isn’t cheap either and I feel it’s really hit and miss. It’s never consistent, won’t be visiting again any time soon!

Have been to Prezzo at Plymouth many times, mainly always had good meals, first post lock down visit did not disappoint. New recipe calamari was a great improvement, one point lost for only having three desserts. Staff were friendly and helpful one of which did not stop smiling throughout the duration of our visit. Will be returning soon.

The food Took 2 hours to arrive. It was all stone cold. They didn’t include a starter or a desert but they took our money. I asked to have mozzarella cheese on my vegan pizza but it had less than 1 teaspoon of cheese. It was on a burnt base and had so much rocket I couldn’t See any other ingredient. This is not good enough at all. When we tried to send food back because we ordered through deliveroo the prezzo company were impossible to contact and only a partial refund is offered. No. You can’t serve frozen freezing food with two out of 6 dishes not being delivered and 6 out of 6 so icy cold we couldn’t eat any. This is the quickest way to throw £52 away. They obviously have no respect for deliveroo customers who often don’t complain but this is going further. I can’t accept inedible food from anywhere and this is the worst place I ordered from using deliveroo. Even kfc or macdonalds has hot food and send you everything you order. Full refund request was answered with you will have a small partial refund. No we couldn’t eat anything. And waiting 2. Hours for this, this company should be disgusted with there cooking and service. I’m taking this further.

Considering the place was empty , 7 people total our starters took 30 minutes to arrive and just over an hour for the main ( since we ordered) . The waiter was not hostile but no interaction at all , did not ask how are food was made no effort to talk to us and just no key people skills that you expect from someone in the service industry. The food however was good but did not leave a tip due to the poor service and not sure if we will return.

We booked the table for 1pm needed to be at the cinema for 3pm I had brought one of their offers 3 courses and a glass of wine, which meant a different menu. the choices were fine and the portions were good. the service could have been quicker but for us on this occassion because I had booked so early it did not matter. our waitress was nice and we left happy.

We came as a group for a Christmas meal. Shockingly slow service, our male waiter was extremely rude and took ages to take our drinks and food order, everything just seemed to be too much effort for him. He constantly rolled his eyes and pulled faces if we requested the simplest thing. We waited for our food for over an hour and a half! It only came out because I went up and complained. When it eventually starting coming to our table one of our party was told they didn’t have any left of what she had ordered!! So she then had to pick something else and sit their whilst we all picked at our not so great food. Another one of our groups mains was burnt and had to be redone - the second one that they made was undercooked and not edible! Our waiter had many tables complaining about his attitude that evening, as we witnessed at least 2 other parties complaining. He ended up storming out of the restaurant after a confrontation with another party, past all of the tables, coat and scarf in hand (very dramatic and unprofessional) I have been served by him many a times before this visit and he’s always been so rude. Don’t know how he still has a job there! The only thing that was a plus was that we didn’t have to pay a penny for anything as the service was shocking, our food wasn’t great and we decided not to bother with a pudding. It’s a shame because me and my partner used to love going to President. Unfortunately we paid a £5 deposit each and ideally we would of loved that back too - none of the party will ever be going back here again!

Booked a table for 9pm and ordered food almost immediately, by 9:50 we still hadn’t received our orders. Every member of staff rushed past without giving eye contact and gave no apology nor explanation for the long wait, even when we asked where our food was. Unfortunately the food wasn’t even worth the wait, soggy pasta swimming in an oily sauce. Never again.

On a wet and miserable day we decided to treat ourselves for lunch before going to the cinema. The setting in Presso Royal William Yard is lovely inside and out . It was fair.y quiet and we were served quickly and our lunch was tasty and looked lovely this is our go to pre cinema visit and never disappoints highly recommended.

Well, went there a few years ago and said I’d never go back. But tonight I did, sadly not very happy again. My starter was very late, another of my party’s main meal was also late. The place is lacking any atmosphere, the staff are not engaged in customer satisfaction. Not once were we asked if everything was ok, a lack of leadership and someone to oversee what the staff are doing. Very very disappointed......

We went to Prezzos for an evening meal with friends. The staff were very friendly and courteous and the service was excellent. The meal was excellent. We all had pasta dishes, goats cheese, lasagne and bolognese and they were all freshly cooked and delicious. I especially loved the cheesecake for dessert with honeycombed crumbs.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. We came here last night and was seated at 7.30pm. We ordered flatbread to share for starters. Our starters did not arrive until 20.10 and that was just before I mentioned something as others who were seated before us had ate their starters! Our mains then took an extra 45 minutes and it was nothing special. I left majority of mine and wasn’t even asked if it was ok or anything. The whole night we never got asked for any more drinks we had to grab a waiter who was passing our table! Appalling service and looks like we weren’t the only people who wasn’t happy, there was about 3 other tables who I could also see wasn’t happy with the service / food! Avoid ! There are much better restaurants down the RWY to choose from.

Turned up to be told no pasta and risotto both of the menu, thats half the menu so choice is pizza 1 fish dinner 1 chicken dinner and burger so all 4 of us had burger after watching others get dinner we complained after 40 mins and 2 complaints our dinner turned up what a joke 2 burgers turned up burned so bad you couldn't cut it with a knife and mine turned up minus the fries. To be fair the manager was in agreement and we didn't get charged, but never again.

Myself and 3 friends visited here before the outdoor cinema on Saturday 14 September. Our original booking was for 7.30 but we were an hour early and they managed to find a table for us by the window. Our waiter, Anwar, from the moment we arrived was extremely friendly and attentive to our whole party and all our requests that were made were met with no trouble. The food and drink arrived very quickly and was all very delicious. Definately worth a visit.

We booked a table for 4 on a Tuesday evening which we then completely missed because of a horrendous traffic jam that put us over an hour late for our reservation! We kept calling the staff and apologising and they were wonderful and very kindly kept our table open for us. When we did arrive, Disabled Access is confusingly around the back of the building (through a courtyard and into the store-room because the building is Grade 1 listed so these alterations have to be done sympathetically) where we were guided there by a member of staff. They changed tables for us when the one selected would be difficult to navigate in a Wheelchair and although service was slow due to staffing problems, we had beautiful quality food and even had a meal served on the house as it arrived to the table later than the other meals (Risotto, what can you do?!). Our meal was wonderful and we were able to pay partly with Clubcard vouchers which enabled us to treat our dear guests. There was no shame or disapproval on using the vouchers which you can sometimes get in such nice restaurants and throughout our meal, we were very well taken care of. This building is water-front and well-lit, we even had a glorious sunset accompanying our meal. Thank you to the staff who helped to make it such a lovely evening!

The food was good but the service. We had to ask to order our food and a young waiter raised his index finger rudely and asked us to wait a few moments, dismissing us and making us feel unvalued. The food took a long time to arrive (arrived at 19:30, didn’t get main meals until 21:00). My chicken arrived without a side and despite being told it was coming, I had to chase it up. We weren’t checked on and had to ask for everything e.g. more water, to order dessert, for the bill. I wondered if it was because the staff knew we’d be paying with clubcard vouchers but am only speculating. We were set to tip 10% of the bill despite paying with vouchers but instead tipped nothing as service was so poor.

Visited this restaurant today with our grandchildren, had a taste Card and a yardcard, which my partner gave to the waitress to ascertain what would be the best option to use. We then waited 25 minutes to place our order despite the restaurant being extremely quiet and enough waiting staff to cover the required tables. After we had requested the return of our cards, three times the manager came over to our table to explain that the cards had been given to somebody else and that they had left with them, we stated that we were not happy with this and that also by this point we had waited over an hour for our food, and then when they did bring it out it was the wrong order. The Occasions manager, tHen came to the table to apologise and she was amazing, so a big thank you to Nichola Finch for sorting out what would have been a total fiasco and making our afternoon with the grandchildren a lovely experience despite the loss of our cards and the delay in food. The food when it arrived was amazing.

Cena temprano en la noche, restaurante no muy ocupado. Tiene un menú muy limitado, sé que es Italia, así que principalmente pasta y pizza, tienen una hamburguesa en el menú pero no tenían ninguna, también ensalada de pollo y aguacate que se ven muy bien. La pizza La Milamno es un plato frío, la base de pizza está cocinada, pero la cobertura se come mozzarella cruda, aceitunas negras, jamón y rúcula, pero no la volvería a comer. Para colmo, nos cobraron demasiado debido al cambio de personal y nos cobraron desde el menú a la carta, no el almuerzo / temprano por la noche, el reembolso ordenado por la oficina central podría ser mejor.

Arrived and was taken straight to our table. Drinks order was taken and they arrived quickly. Food order was taken and we didn't have to wait long for our starter's. Then our mains followed quite quickly once we'd finished our starters. Both lots of food were piping hot and really tasty. Staff were very courteous and helpful. A great experience all round.

Visited on a busy Sunday evening and the staff were clearly over stretched. We had a booking and had to wait at the entrance for nearly 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Service was extremely slow all evening (not the waiters fault) and everyone seemed to be waiting ages for their food, there just wasn’t enough staff for the amount of customers. Food was pretty good as usual although my starter could’ve been hotter (I saw it on the counter for a while before being brought to the table). Luckily the location is lovely and there are always good deals as based on the service alone I don’t think many people would return unfortunately.

Reservation was at 5:15 and the place was empty, did not get served for drinks until 5:25, with staff chatting behind the bar. Ordered starters and mains around 5:45, again took waiters a long time to come serve us. Our starters came out fairly quickly however I could see the food on the counter for a good 10 mins so it wasn’t hot. The problem arose when our mains did not come out until 7:15, nearly 2 hours after ordering. Our food only came out after complaining to management, who argued with us rather than trying to find a solution to our problem. My dad got given the wrong food and my calzone has hardly any meat and peppers in it, despite the menu stating it has meat and peppers in it, was more dough than meat. Would highly avoid this place as it’s way too over priced for mediocre food, rude management and poor service.

Well I am writing this review even before the starters have arrived. Been sat here for 45 mins and all we have are 2 drinks which are free due to the 20 min wait for them. Had the Italian humus and hubby had the mushrooms (x4). Food ok so far. Main course. Salmon penne with a kick of chilli. Lovey. Hubby had ravioli which he seemed to enjoy. Plate was cleared.

Went because me and my husband fancied going out for lunch and realised prezzo had some good offers on . We had a great 3 course meal food was fantastic staff were really polite and we didn’t feel rushed. We really enjoyed the mini dessert with any hot drink this is a fantastic idea especially if your quite full but don’t want to miss out on dessert I don’t know of any other restaurant that offers this but we would just like to say this is a brilliant idea! We ended up having a lovely time would definitely recommend the lunch time menu can’t wait to go back and try the evening menu

After eating here on many occasions we decided to book a table for my mums 80th birthday. After looking online a few weeks previous we liked the look of the set menu, a good choice of food for everyone. On the night however there appeared to be much less of choice If you’re vegetarian/vegan/gluten free you can’t go wrong.. meat eaters spaghetti bolognaise/beef burger or an extra charge to have chicken added to pasta.. Most of the party ordered the burger (purely through lack of choice) it was ok but pretty basic for the price, fries arrived 5 minutes later and were dry & bland.. we didn’t make a fuss on the night as we didn’t want to ruin the birthday celebrations but have to say we were very dissatisfied.

Came for lunch. Havent been to pizza express for over 10 years as it used to be overpriced and food was average. Id love to say it had improved but not as much as you'd like. Garlic dough balls are still a massive gimmick. Probs why we were the only ones there and another couple and it was even the day they had a promo on where u got dough balls for a pound but still the place was empty. Service was average, guy was friendly enough he just looked bored and a bit disinterested. The food came out way to quick to be cooked from fresh. Pasta bowl with chicken and chorizo was ok but could've easily been made at home. Just not good enough quality to be restaurant food. Bit like other Italian chains restaurants in the city centre, all chucking out the same average food but charging over inflated prices. App was ok and we got free dough balls but then It still cost over 50 quid for two of us. Could easily spend that at an independent restaurants around the city and food cooked from scratch with love and passion put into it.
