Pleasant but crowded spot on the waterfront and very convenient for the railway station. Would have been nice to sit outside but too many people. Downside: it's cashless - too many places going that way.

I give Prezzo 5☆ for Celiac and foodintolerances. They gave me a gluten free menu, lots of choice, the food was delicious and labelled with a flag to avoid mix-up. I felt safe, included and had a good time. Thanks Prezzo! I will come back.

Tasty food but quite expensive for what it is, with no tiny side salad or anything included with any meals. I had lasagne and my boyfriend had a large pizza.

My partner and I visited this establishment prior to visiting the cinema. We enjoyed a delicious mozzarella starter and a drink each, we then proceeded to order our mains. Due to the lengthy period between the starter arriving and the arrival of the main we had to ask if we could get the bill for what we had consumed as we needed to leave due to having booked evening arrangements. The waitress was very apologetic and polite, a gentleman then appeared at the table, in which I can only imagine he was the manager. He was also very apologetic and began to Apologies for the lengthy wait and the fact we hadn’t had the chance to eat our meal. We reassured him we are not angry or in dispute as we believe we did not apprehend the business of the restaurant, we were happy to pay for our consumed items, however, the gentlemen insisted we had our items on the house. We were hugely grateful and believe the service we experience here were second to none. We will attend again for sure.

Just walked out at Lincoln Prezzo, we arrived 5 minutes late for our booking. Unfortunately, I’m in the police and so can’t always get there in time. We were greeted by a very rude waitress, who stated we didn’t have a booking. We were then told to wait and sit down while she got a table ready. The whole restaurant was empty, so 10 minutes waiting seemed ridiculous. When we finally sat down she left the menus and just disappeared. We witnessed another waiter who equally didn’t appear to care about customer service. We walked out without giving them the time of day. No idea if the foods good but the poor service put a bitter taste in the mouth. Won’t be going here again. Cheers Prezzo, sons crying now x

The food was great, the waitress very friendly and chatty, really enjoyed our experience. The sea bass was to die for - crispy skin, meaty fish and the salad and veg included was well cooked and tasty. Hubby had the spicy carne calzone and really enjoyed it.

Myself and my husband came here for dinner. We had not booked but we did not have to wait long for a table even though it was a Saturday night and was very busy in there! The food was really good and the pizza oven being open is brilliant to watch. Our waitress Abi was lovely, she worked really hard, she was always cleaning tables or setting tables but always had time to come to us if we needed extra drinks or anything. She wasn’t intrusive like some can be. Abi is an asset to the Prezzo team and is a very hard worker! We will be returning. Great food and service!

First the good bits: food was excellent, service prompt and friendly and although I'm not a fan a unisex loos they were clean and well serviced (apart from the hand drier - about as efficient as my Nan trying to blow out her birthday cake candles). Now the reasons why it only gets 2 stars. 1. On arrival we, and a lot of other people arriving, had to wait 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our presence and show us to our table. Surprising as the place was nowhere near full.2. The place was cold. The fact that us and everyone around us were sat with their coats and scarves on should have been a cause for concern. The outside door was constantly left open and the closer hinge was obviously not working. Only once did a member of staff go out and close it. It was a cold and windy night and so not surprising the draught through the inner door was the cause.3. We had asked for a view over Brayford when booking. What we got was a view of the smokers crowded around the door - it was mainly them coming and going who left the outer door open! Why isn't there a proper smokers shelter for them so new arrivers and leavers don't have to walk through the haze?4. The loos were almost impossible to get to. Tables on the route to the loos were so packed together that whichever way you went you had to disturb diners sat at them to squeeze past. All these problems are so easy to solve - pity that managers haven't done so.

We booked weeks in advance for our party of six on the Saturday of the Christmas Market. As expected the restaurant was packed but the atmosphere was great. Despite the business the service was prompt and polite with no delays in any of the food coming. We all chose different variations of pasta dishes which without exception were piping hot and good sized portions. A couple of desserts - huge sticky toffee pudding and delightful cheesecake with honeycomb. We loved it and would definitely return.

Only in Lincoln for the market. But met friends for dinner. Was able to book a table even though it took several phone calls. Good service and good food. Nothing was too much trouble.

First impressions were great. The restaurant is in the best part of town. The building is impressive as was the food and the service. We were impressed by the menu and the wine was a reasonable price. At the end the overall cost was reasonable for the first class food we were served.

Booked a table for 8:30 and waited 50 mins for the starter to arrive. The waiter was superb. Asked if we wanted him to request our main dishes now! (makes you wonder if normally they are not put through to the kitchen until the starters are cleared). We both had pizzas that weren't expected to be HOT. Wonder if the chilli oil got mixed up with the olive oil. Next time we will expect less and prepare for the whole evening to be spent there.

Our party of four adults visited on Saturday 25th at 7pm. We got a table with views of Brayford Quayside and were served by Beota, a very pleasant and amiable waitress who was excellent. We had 3 courses from the a la cartel menu and all were tasty and colourful. My King prawns in chilli sauce starter had an enjoyable bite to it without being too hot. I had Chicken with mushrooms and chose a side salad included in the price. It was filling and good tasting. We all chose a mini dessert, which includes a hot beverage. The whole meal was satisfying without being too much as I sometimes struggle to eat 3 courses. The whole bill came to £88.80 after Gourmet Card discount and included alcoholic drinks for three of us and juice for my partner. The dinner was enhanced by our waitress who is a credit to Prezzo and went out of her way to make it a very enjoyable evening. We will visit again.

Excellent food, much enjoyed by us all. Service was very good, save for a long wait for drinks, with the order having to be given twice. We would happily return, notwithstanding.

We visited on Tuesday evening, about 8 tables were occupied. We were ignored by the (only) female waitress for 10 minutes while she cleared tables around us. And eventually had to call someone to seat us and the couple who were also waiting behind us. The female waitress proceeded to be extremely rude to us during our entire meal and stared at us with a horrible expression continually. When we were finally seated we had to go to the bar to ask could someone please take our drink orders, another five minutes passed before this was taken so we decided to order all the food and drinks together. The food arrived and we then had to ask for parmesan which was thrown all over our table and our clothing by the waiter while he ‘grated’ it. Half way through our meal he came back to take our plates away in a bid to hurry us along. No one checked at any point if we would like more drinks or if the food was ok. The food was at best, disappointing. It was cold and absolutely awful. I will attempt to contact the restaurant directly to explain my issues this week. Would not recommend this place.

Food was shocking, my pasta with chicken/bacon in a tomato sauce was awful. Super dry, no flavour, sauce was clearly from a can. My husband had the pepperoni pizza, which was so spicy, I swear the chilli's were only added to hide the fact there was no flavour. The music is just odd, I swear it was just an iPod on shuffle, no consistency. staff were alright to be fair, no problems with the service, and the food, albeit terrible, came out quick enough. Why people love eating here, baffles me! Gino's in the bailgate, 1,000,000X better! Even Ask Italian is better! Don't bother, unless you want flavourless basics for a stupid amount of money.

Below average food served cold with incredibly slow service and disinterested staff. A real shame as the setting is great, just poorly managed. I won’t go again and would recommend steering clear

My hubby and I had a 50% off mains voucher code, so went to Prezzo’s and had our favourite Calzone pizzas......absolutely delicious! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Hubby decided he would like to sample the chocolate salted caramel tart with raspberries and cream.....needless to say he thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful!

Pretty good pizza to be fair. The chips had some powder on them which was nice. We got the meal deal £16:50. Turned up very hot and pizza was made well. Not just sloppy and thrown together.
