Had a great time coming back here again for my anniversary and Samara was such a lovely lady felt welcomed and the atmosphere is cosy with smells of food and the man serving my compliments to the chefs! And lastly thank you Amber you make the best flavourful drinks ever! Thank you team!

Our meal started off as nice, the meat was tasty, some of the steaks were quite chewy, the chips however were cold and seemed as though they had been out a while. When we finished our meal, we were so full and had some meat left over on our plates, we asked if we could take this home and we were told we were not allowed. I just found this ridiculous because it’s food we have paid for, it’s only going to go in the bin, and they do too good to go bags so I know it’s not a food safety problem. Just seemed extremely tight given we had just spend £80 on just two unlimited meats, one coke and one beer. £10 of that £80 bill was service charge that we had no choice but to pay. I don’t feel that food I ate was worth an £80 bill. I am quite disappointed and wouldn’t go back.

We were in London for the 2024 NFL Games. Our Hotel was just around the corner. Saw this place and tried it out. Wasnt disappointed. Really nice service and the meat was really tasty. Cannot say what the salads or other things was like cause we didnt have much more than meat :) so if youre looking for a nice place to eat and you are in the area, dont miss your opportunity there. Greating to the staff from Germany!

Amazing place! Good quality meat and sides just outstanding, especially the Pao de queijo. Chicken thighs are on the dryer side but generally highly recommend!

All good and real Brazilian style

It was not what I think it should be. The choice for salad 'buffet' is very limited, and the starch food was no good. The basic fries were tasteless and soggy. Grills were acceptable, steak, chicken were okay. But the gammon steak was terrible, it was unacceptably salty and felt like they never soaked that into water and rinse that over properly. Eventually paying for 3x pounds but not feeling satisfied.

I was with my work colleagues at Preto Queensway and the experience was fantastic! The meat is one of the best I've ever eaten - perfectly prepared and extremely tasty. The buffet is very rich and varied, and takeaway boxes are also available. The space is spacious and comfortable. The service was excellent, the staff extremely friendly and professional, and I especially appreciate that they explained everything related to allergies in detail. Definitely a place I would come back to!"

Great food, friendly staff, a bit loud when it’s busy but a great night out

Ordered too good to go, paid £10 (unusually high price for leftovers, but I was like considering it will be mostly meat it's fine), got less than 200grams of meat most of it chicken, and some rice and pasta on the side. Ridiculous.

The feijoada was cold, no palmitos(palm heart) tipic from Brazil, meat with no flavour of stake only reheated in that gas thing, cupim cold when it is delicious just cooked not reheated, who knows from when. I had to walk out, and when I asked for a discount for the bad food they only gave me £3 discount. The service was great, the people very nice and polite, but not the food. Sorry, very disappointed.

Lovely food, great service, helpful and friendly

When you only have two choices of "food", it was disappointing. I only wanted salad and it looked left over from lunch, not fully stocked, description of dishes signs were messy and askew, and corn in almost every salad including just the salad base. I dislike corn. Some dishes were missing and never replaced the whole time we were there. Staff were good but it wasn't packed so easy to ask for something.

I’m Brazilian and honestly this was by far the worst place to eat Brazilian food. The meat is very chewy and hard and no flavour at all. Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience.

This place was absolutely amazing, I 100% recommend, the mix of different salads and meats were amazing!

Went for dinner yesterday. All the meat coming out was either steak or pork. I don’t eat pork so just had steak. Meal felt rushed as every bit of steak I had was just full of fat so I was not impressed with spending £30 to eat fat. Atmosphere is nice but the salad bar I’m not too keen on the way people have to literally climb over food to get to the food at the back. Flavours were nice but value for money was not due to the type of Meat that was on offer.

We were turned away just out of racism they were saying that they're 'fully booked' despite being 2/3 empty, with just a couple of families eating, more than 15 empty tables. No wonder why I'm seeing few more similar reviews about them being poor of serving in the right way of doing it .

I had an amazing experience at Restaurante Preto! The food was absolutely wonderful, with every dish prepared to perfection and bursting with flavor. Special mention to Márcia, whose attentive and warm service made the visit even more memorable. We work with clients from Brazil and frequently bring them here, knowing that they’ll enjoy it as much as we do. Whether it's for business, a quiet family meal, or even just to relax solo, Preto never disappoints. The atmosphere and cuisine make it a must-visit, and we highly recommend it!

The serving/rotation of steaks was so fast!

Terrible! The restaurant took 1 hour 12 minutes to prepare my order. And the reality is that is a buffet restaurant. Meaning, they didn’t cook only for myself. The food was ready. Or they forgot my order , or they were extremely lazy to take 1:12h to prepare my order. Extremely disappointed! The original waiting time was 20-35 minutes. Try to avoid to order from them!

Good experience here with variety of fresh hot meats delivered very frequently to the table. Staff all helpful and venue is clean. Good value for money if you are a big eater. Would definitely visit again.

I get sick after eating in the restaurant, and in the end, I have to pay service charge and VAT!!!! becareful if you want to attend this place, because if you see the food on the menu for £10 actuality means £25.

Had an amazing mid-week dinner at Preto tonight! Marcia and the team looked after us very, very well. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to the gentlemen who were serving the meats, they’re amazing!

This place always manage to provide a terrible experience. Ordered chicken wings that seemed cooked days ago, so dry and tasteless with a rub of BBQ. My feijoada (worst I ever tried) could be drunk from the cup it was sent on, literally water down with no flavour whatsoever (terribly disgusting). Not the first time of course this place disappoints but definitely will be the last. Embarrassing

Eaten here many times and found it excellent. BUT.. our meal on 6th Jan was very dissapointing due to all the meat (except lamb) was way too salty. So much so that we just could not eat our normal amount. (Maybe thats what they want?). So wont be going there again.

Been there yesterday and service and food were great! Will be back for sure for the rump steak and drinks! Staff very friendly and they look excited and happy! It’s a small piece of Brazil right here on Putney Bridge!! As a British native who loves everything brazilian, it’s great having this place around! The employee Márcia is very rude, she doesn't care about customer satisfaction regarding places and tables and I felt pressured to eat quickly and leave because of the way she said it and almost told me to leave. I even asked if she was the owner of the way she treated me the first and last time at this place.

Amazing service and staff today! Everything was top notch. Both the Waitress and the manager were very attentive and helpful. I am a regular at all brazilian restaurants in London and whoever post a bad review about this particular place is either very unfair, mean or both. This place is the best branch of all Preto’s chain, although ALL of them are equally great, except this one has got a even more humane service and that’s the reason I love it!

We had a birthday here and it was such a nice experience 😌 The food is very fresh and diverse. There is something for everyone. The staff is really sweet.

The meats were cooked perfectly, and the salad bar was fresh. This is the best preto I’ve been to, from the food to the Service, it’s probably because the members of staff are all Brazilian so they take pride in their work not like some of the other branches. shout out to waitress Marcia who was also very lovely and helpful. Had an amazing time at Preto. The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. All the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We are planning our next visit!!

Our experience here wasn't great unfortunately. You think you get all you can eat for £30 but is it really worth £30? The meat wasn't great at all, we only liked the garlic beef which we got twice. The buffet food was shocking, the mash potato smelled disgusting (and I'm sorry for the harsh word, but it really did) - I did try it because I thought maybe I was wrong, but it was very bad/old. I put that away and went back for some salad and the rucola was dry, but I didn't have courage to try anything else than salad. My partner had the grilled vegetables and he said they were old. Plus he had some bad reactions the second he got home - no need for more details. Everyone serving us was lovely, it looked clean and no other issues.

Good Brazilian rodizio steak house. Good selection of different beef cuts, pork , lamb and chicken grilled perfectly and served on skewers directly at your table. It’s all you can eat and there is also a buffet with salad and hot side dishes. Overall it’s a good experience especially if you come with the Neotaste card which at the moment gives you a 2for1 offer.

Eat as much as you can from a nice selection of different meat cuts. Good drinks. Ample selection of desserts, and a delicious coffee.

Brilliant evening fun new way to try different food

PDG Brazilian cuisine with large help yourself salad and carbs bar plus amusing Paradors who came round again and again with freshly cooked cuts of meat they carved at your table....seemingly never ending. Unusual and enjoyable!

First time in the restaurant. The meat was so tender, well marinated and very savoury. Surely it won’t be the last visit.
