Exceptional place and service! Flavio offers the finest cuts of meat with a warm, personalized touch and unmatched charisma. Marcia’s friendliness adds even more charm to the experience. The food was absolutely outstanding, capturing the authentic, comforting flavours of home and Brazil.

The meats were cooked perfectly, and the salad bar was fresh. This is the best preto I’ve been to, from the food to the Service, it’s probably because the members of staff are all Brazilian so they take pride in their work not like some of the other branches. shout out to waitress Marcia who was also very lovely and helpful. Marcia was absolutely amazing! Over the top service! Plenty of food, very good quality, huge variety: beef, pork, chicken, lamb; huge buffet with plenty of vegetarian options and true Brazilian flavours. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing time at Preto. The food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. All the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We are planning our next visit!!

Our experience here wasn't great unfortunately. You think you get all you can eat for £30 but is it really worth £30? The meat wasn't great at all, we only liked the garlic beef which we got twice. The buffet food was shocking, the mash potato smelled disgusting (and I'm sorry for the harsh word, but it really did) - I did try it because I thought maybe I was wrong, but it was very bad/old. I put that away and went back for some salad and the rucola was dry, but I didn't have courage to try anything else than salad. My partner had the grilled vegetables and he said they were old. Plus he had some bad reactions the second he got home - no need for more details. Everyone serving us was lovely, it looked clean and no other issues.

Good Brazilian rodizio steak house. Good selection of different beef cuts, pork , lamb and chicken grilled perfectly and served on skewers directly at your table. It’s all you can eat and there is also a buffet with salad and hot side dishes. Overall it’s a good experience especially if you come with the Neotaste card which at the moment gives you a 2for1 offer.

Brilliant evening fun new way to try different food

Eat as much as you can from a nice selection of different meat cuts. Good drinks. Ample selection of desserts, and a delicious coffee.

PDG Brazilian cuisine with large help yourself salad and carbs bar plus amusing Paradors who came round again and again with freshly cooked cuts of meat they carved at your table....seemingly never ending. Unusual and enjoyable!

First time in the restaurant. The meat was so tender, well marinated and very savoury. Surely it won’t be the last visit.

On Monday evening, delicious food. Very friendly, great service. Felt like I was at home the way I was treated, great atmosphere. Marcia, Rafael and nimbael were awesome. We come here often and always feel we get great service!

It’s a shame… management needs to get down here before it’s too late. 1 Wasn’t offered table water. 2 No check on how food was the whole time most 50% of staff look like they didn’t want to be there and grumpy 3 when I wanted anything I had to get up and do it myself 4 had to get up to ask for the bill not enough checking for customers eyes looking for help. Meat 🍖 seems to be overcooked on the outside don’t calve me the outside! Would you eat what looks like a burnt critter Guys sort out your restaurant, A place with great potential like it used to have.

It is veeeery rare for me to leave the review, but today’s visit in preto was just ridiculous.. i have been to preto for first time as i heard it is nice and tasty place so i gave the chance. The food wasnt that great, it was ok-ish. But its more about service, it looks very chaotic. I would suggest do waiter’s sections where ONE waiter care for particular tables. Today within my visit we have been asked around 30 times if we were ok - every time different person, like they were wandering around.. i believe they want to be nice, but it is really annoying, one of the waiter came to us twice asking if we were done when we clearly weren’t. I dont think so i will go there again. Nearly burnt chicken in the picture, where previous ones were undercooked.

Been coming here for quite a few years on and off. Food and service has always been brilliant

Editing my review from more than a year ago because they were used to have pretty good portions and sausages. Currently the portions are much less and worse quality, the sausages and the meat changed (quality and quantity wise) and the prices increased considerably. Always sending 4x sausages on the mixed grill as per menu photos but now sending 2x and worse quality ones. Picanha also not very good as before and poorly cooked. Chicken is very bad. At the restaurant bad smell near the stairs. Service charge very expensive. This restaurant is going down the hill. I was a regular customer but won't be again. No longer recommended (eating in or 2good2go or delivery = all currently very bad)

Food was delicious and service was great the only downside to this restaurant are the prices and the fact that they add a service charge on an already high bill. People should have the option if they want to pay it or leave a tip. If they lowered their prices they would probably make more money as people would go more often.

Don’t know how this place is not packed on Saturday night! Staff is super welcoming and friendly and it’s all you can eat meat galore. And dear oh dear the meat is grilled perfection! Beef, lamb, chicken and pork are seasoned to perfection. You can also have salad, chips and rolls with your meat but I would waste the space. Queue in the meat sweats!

2024 Review Update: I still think the food is mainly just okay, with a few standouts from among some of the meats. My most recent visit (they were having a 2 for 1 Wednesday deal at the time) they seemed to replenish the sides more frequently, and so they tasted fresher and less defrosted. They also really began to circulate with the meats a lot quicker- some of which were great, some were a little dry- which is par for the course with this style of dining. The desserts were ginormous but not the greatest. I wouldn’t get them again. The main area of improvement from last year is the service. Even though the restaurant was much busier when I went in, the wait staff were attentive, checking in about more drinks, circulating to check that the diners were okay without overdoing it. It was good. Would definitely visit again. ———- 2023 Visit: It was okay. I went on a Monday evening with friends so it was admittedly a little quiet. They didn’t seem to be expecting customers so many of the sides hadn’t been replenished and what was there tasted a bit old and over warmed (from having been out for ages). We had to wait a while for the meat to cook by which time we had filled up on sides and the meat was barely ready. I think it’s better to try to come during busy periods when they already have the grill going and are replenishing the sides so they’re fresh. I can see how this could be good, but it wasn’t good when I went.
