We headed here after the Art Fair in Battersea Park mainly driven by previous reviews and we weren't disappointed. The staff were brilliant from start to finish and all of our pizzas were authentic and delicious.

I went on a weekday evening without a reservation and had to wait a bit. It's Neapolitan pizza style. I was glad to see that they also sold dipping sauce. The pizza was cheap, delicious and had a nice atmosphere.

San Genarro has been our go-to spot (for dining in and takeaways) since we moved to Battersea about 18 months ago. We have found the food and service to be amazing every single time. We have brought along family and friends and each time the service has been absolutely fantastic. Everyone tells us we are so lucky to have a local restaurant that feels so neighbourly with a personal touch, which is very hard to find in London and we couldn’t agree more. Tonight we had no booking (Saturday) and needed a table for 4. They very kindly fit us in and we are so grateful for their hospitality and for being so accommodating. Thank you San Genarro! See you again soon.

Probably the best pizza I've ever had. Definitely the most authentic. My partner and I turned up without a reservation on a busy evening, and they made sure they found a table for us. The staff are also very friendly and efficient. If you are visiting the power station I strongly recommend you eat here as it's ten times better than anywhere within the complex.

Quite possibly the best pizza I've ever had. A really nice place to eat with very friendly and efficient staff who managed to find me and my partner a table even though we didn't reserve one. Sadly their card machine doesn't offer a tipping option, and I didn't have any cash on me. I like to leave a tip when I'm being looked after so I hope they rectify this for my next visit. But yeah, you really won't regret giving this place a go.

Very good Italian restaurant, I have ordered takeaway and sit in and both amazing, I had the capricciosa which was great. One of the best Italian restaurants in the area, strong recommendation if you are around Battersea.

The pizzas were Amazing, the tiramisu was great, but the service we received was very unprofessional. We were served by a female with red hair. She was rude, didn’t ask us how our food was, didn’t offer us any pepper which was offered to every other table and constantly kept chewing her gum with her mouth open. The thing that made me most angry is that after she took payment she just walked away. No thank you, no have a nice day. It’s a shame because everyone else were getting very good and friendly service. Great food, decent atmosphere. Horrible service.

The best italian pizza in the city! And if you're not a pizza lover, also the other dishes are delicious! I recommend the burrata and mortadella pizza, my favourite. Or if you'd like some spicy, the Calabrese is very good too.

Great tomato sauce, good cheese, good dough. If you like a Neapolitan pizza this is a very decent option. A little too much sauce for me and I prefer my undercarriage and little more well done. 8.2/10

A really nice dining experience. The restaurant is stylish and homely. The staff are welcoming and polite. The food is amazing! The pizza is a perfect sourdough with a crisp crust. The flavours are a dream, especially with different cheeses, mushrooms, onions and the sweet tomato sauce. Delicious. Miss it, miss out.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting San Gennaro for a takeaway order to enjoy at a work event in Battersea Park. From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. We were greeted warmly and decided to buy a beer while we waited for our pizza, which was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was fantastic, creating a perfect setting to relax and enjoy our drink. As we chatted, the staff learned that we were taking our pizza to the park and generously provided us with a bag of napkins and some pots of chilli oil, ensuring we had everything we needed for our meal. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and flavourful. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into making each pizza, and it definitely paid off. Overall, our experience at San Gennaro was outstanding. The combination of excellent service, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch pizza makes this place a standout. I will certainly be returning to dine in and explore the rest of the menu. Highly recommended!

To my mind it's one of the best local pizzerias in London (if you like Neapolitan style needless to say). The team are always friendly and the food consistently good - as the fact they've been open for over 25 years should attest to!

Conveniently tucked away literally 1 min walk outside Battersea Park Station, and a short walk to Battersea Park, this unassuming pizzaria offers a cozy environment and kickass sourdough pizza - a great place to stop by for a beer and pizza after a nice walk in the park

The best Pizza i had, pure Italian Pizza, nothing can compare in my opinion.

We ordered 10 pizzas online. When we turned up the staff was ready with the boxes and handed them out for all the kids to carry (it was a party for my son). The pizzas were lovely and tasty, and nicely Italian, as always. Thanks!

We had dinner here for our first time and it was delicious! We are Italian and we always look for the real Italian pizza and San Gennaro didn’t disappointed us. Finally a real Italian pizza in London. Atmosphere is also soooo Italian we loved it.

Positive: pizza was excellent and good for value Negative: We were seated quickly then we ordered two simple pizzas. Shortly we were moved because there was a thrio who were ‘ Italian’ which we didn’t mind at the start but after waiting about 30 mins for a pizza the Italians who they were obsessing over were given their pizza first even tho they arrived 15 mins later than us. We were not offered water or anything but the Italian clients were. After this I was ready to pay for our alcoholic drinks and go as I am not supporting a business who is discriminating clearly but suddenly the pizza appeared and the lady gave a lame excuse so we did finish the meal. Overall we were treated very differently due to us being local not Italian tourists and won’t be supporting although the pizza was amazing. You will have a good time here if you can say you are from Tuscany.

I simply love this little unassuming Pizzeria at the crossroads of Battersea Park Road and Queenstown Road. Charming speedy service and the perfect pizzas. Light bubbly charred dough, rich tomato base and in my case wonderfully deep salty umami anchovies. Better still they do a fantastic Primitivo for £24 - Just go, go now.

By far the best pizza in London. I am from Naples, Italy and my husband is a manager in one of London’s top venues. We were both blown away by the excellent food and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a tasteful meal and lovely ambience. It is child friendly, the staff is very accommodating and smiley and the bill was totally reasonable too. I will definitely be back and tell friends and family about it too. Keep up the amazing vibe, hard to find nowadays.

Amazing pizza, one of the best in town. The Pizza at San Gennaro is so tasty that I can not reccomaned better one in all the South London, Sonia also is the perfect host she make you feel at home every single time!! Make sure you order also a portion of her home made tiramisu it esactly how my mum use to make in Italy ♥️

The pizzas are all made with sourdough, and are absolutely delicious from crust to centre. It’s a local favourite for a reason, and the click and collect is convenient and cheap. My favourites are the Parma e Gorgonzola, the Battersea, and Burrata pizzas.

The place has a good vibe, the staff is very polite. We had parmigiana and pizza. The parmigiana was really good, aubergines well cooked but they used more mozzarella than parmigiano cheeee. The pizza we had were very good and the ingredients were good quality. We will come back.

Lovely little Italian pizzeria! I had the burrata e verdere ( burrata and cooked vegetables) and it was really nice! The pizza my friends had was nice! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has a very cosy vibe. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area! Prices are really good as well!

We found this place by accident on our holiday then we went back 3 times in a row! Honestly it is one of the BEST real italian pizzas you will ever have. The dough did not make us puffy after eating it, full of quality toppings and wasnt put on sparingly. The service was friendly and very helpful. We had a special request and after talking to the chef, they said 'no problem, we can do that'. We will definitely come back. Thank you!

Went here on a whim and was thoroughly impressed. Beautiful soft pillowy dough and delicious toppings. Really great pizza and good size too. The place is nicely decorated inside and the staff were lovely. Also, you need to get some of the bread to try, it was excellent.

Great sourdough pizzas at a great price, close to Battersea station. It came up to about £20pp for a pizza and a drink which is pretty solid for this area. Staff was really helpful, too.

Such a warm and welcoming restaurant, the staff are so friendly, with such warm smiles and so approachable. The food is absolutely delicious, the pizza is mouthwatering- I also recommend the Ducale Salice Salentino Riserva red- so good! Have dined in and ordered pizza to take away- ready in 15 minutes or less, and served with a smile :)

This is real pizza. The dough was perfect, the ingredients amazing. Really high quality ingredients. First time I had real burrata on top of the pizza. I don't think I can have pizza in a different way anymore. Simply the best pizza I had in London so far.

Absolutely amazing! Very vibrant environment that you woukd get in an authentic restaurant in the heart of Italy. The pizza I had here was even tastier that the ones I had before in Rome and Milan. It came very quickly it was warm and incredibly tasty. I really recommend the place.

Great place for superb authentic Italian pizza. (They really don't do anything else but pizza. They have some starters but those are really different pizza toppings.) The restaurant itself is artistically decorated in a modern style with shots from Italian films. It is multi-roomed and multi-level. It's kind of modern rustic. If you have a craving for great authentic Italian pizza washed down with an Italian beer or wine, scratch your itch here!

Quite possibly new favourite London pizzeria. The sourdough is beautiful, the ingredients belissima! 👌 Reasonably priced too. Would travel great distances to have a pizza here... Lucky to have it on our doorstep!

We randomly chose this place to grab a bite and boy oh boy, the pizzas are delicious! Their sourdough base is so good, and so many toppings to choose from. We loved the addition of burrata on top, such a fun pizza!
