Pret A Manger in Merton

As a fast food place is not bad, but honestly about customer service there are some details should be improved. My experience today afternoon wasn't really pleasant because when I asked ice to make my tea cooler, one of the staff member that was on the till asked to wait a bit showing me a not very friendly face, then after some minutes I asked her again. Finally she asked one outher staff member for a cup with ice, then she put it on the left side of the till but I was in the right side of the till. The waitress that I spoke first told me "the cup with ice is there and you can take it". I was really negatively surprised with that atitude, not professional and also rude. They can't move themselves to serve the customers, they just stand where they are, it looks like a very lazy attitude too. I had walk and cross the queue to achieve the left side of the till with more or less 3 meters to take it. I haven't felt very welcome to be honest and I will never came back to that place anymore. I really suggest to that company that should be more responsable for their employees behavior and give them more training/education specifically for them to learn how to attend costumers in a proper way.

I had to leave a review for the young staff that work here. I was honestly blown away by their ability to provide great customer service in an extremely busy environment. They are all really polite, hard working and communicated amongst themselves perfectly in order to get orders out to customers. I unfortunately had to be that person and forgot to ask for my coffee to be lukewarm, but obviously was not a problem for this amazing team and they were able to ensure a)it was lukewarm and b)it was given to me and not someone else. Honestly wish I got everyone’s names so they could get the recognition they deserve! Oh and, the coffee was 5/5 :).

He estado soñando con su rodaja de nuez desde que lo probé en la sucursal de la terminal de Heathrow. Estaba muy emocionado de tenerlo nuevamente y lo llevé a casa para disfrutarlo. Desafortunadamente, ahí fue donde terminó la alegría porque era muy seco y sin sabor y nada parecido había sido en mi primera ocasión de comerlo. No estoy seguro de si esto se debe a dónde se hornea y por cuánto tiempo, pero no lo compraré de nuevo con tristeza.

Escombros absolutos toda la semana. La jefa debe estar fuera. Los tiempos de espera en la mañana durante toda esta semana, cuando todos tienen prisa, son inaceptables. ¡Tuve que esperar casi 10 minutos esta mañana para mi café y cuando llegué a la oficina era el equivocado!

El personal amable, el lugar estaba limpio y con mucha variedad, la comida era muy fresca y tenía un precio razonable

I went to have my decaff extra hot late with dairy free milk and my Barista Filip.... was so very helpful! really made my day, to have such service like this is such a good thing. thank you Filip!

Ideally perched for maximum footfall right outside the sloping entrance to Wimbledon tube and mainline station, this branch of Pret is big, bustling and full of activity. There are winning soups available at the moment, and this branch has lively staff, ample seating and good chicken sarnies and baguettes. For a while, now, I've been addicted to the Pret club sandwich. I think it's something to do with the finely chopped celery leaves. It's a good formula, and this branch seems to be thriving.

Just opposite the mainline Wimbledon Station, this is the ideal place for organic coffee and high-quality fresh meals. Seating is extensive with outdoor and indoor availability. Staff are welcoming and friendly and the food never fails in high standards and quality.

I had a bagguet at about 4 pm , it was stale and hardly any filling , I sat outside but people were smoking , so I threw everything away !,,

Same as the other branches of the chain but busier than some of them. They cope well with so many customers

I can’t find the Clapham coffee store but I went there for breakfast today and yesterday. The food was nice however the drinks were inconsistent and today it was a good service. Yesterday’s wasn’t as good

I love coming here normally, I visit mostly in the evening as I wait for my partner who works in the town centre but I come from work so I'm usually dressed smart casual and never had an issue with service. However today I have popped in wearing a scruffy t shirt and tracksuit bottoms and I haven't brushed my hair (think scarecrow!) And I believe due to my appearance a member of the staff wouldn't serve me. This is based on the fact he was serving and it came to my turn (very busy location) and he stopped and started wiping a surface behind him. He was asked by a colleague to serve as there was a que forming but he didn't turn around . A rather charming lady at the end of the counter served me with a big smile and as soon as she did he started serving again. I could be paranoid, but I doubt it. It's not a particularly great feeling that I'm being judged for my appearance and luckily there are plentiful of coffee stores around that will serve with good grace. Yes I'm scruffy looking but my money isn't. And to be judged like that isn't a great advert for a multicultural brand.

Always a nice place to chillax and have a bite to eat and a lovely cup of tea! My friend had a mexican bean wrap (very interesting) filling and tasty with a coffee. I wanted an almond croissant slightly warmed up, but the server told me they didn"t have the facilities to heat it up, and as they couldn't give me what I actually wanted, they gave it to me complimentary, which made my day. It's always a good cup of tea, unlike other tea and coffee shops. Also their almond bakewell is to die for...yummy, and tasted so fresh and home made.

wifi works well which is a real bonus. hot chocolate was fine. its busy whenever i go . a lot of sitting space but small table and chairs i found quite uncomfortable

The food is always fresh and the staff are always friendly. The open plan seating area can make it a bit hard to hear and feel a bit cramped. However, if its lunchtime and you're passing, it is well worth a visit.

Started coming here in 2014 while monitoring building work in our nearby property with their free Wi-fi access. Chocolat chaud and Danish pastries kept us going.

This branch of Pret - directly across the road from the station - does a great job. The shelves are always replenished, and the counter service is stunningly fast. Rubbish is rapidly cleared from tables. The tables are crammed close together - but, as a...
