Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

I bought porridge but was disappointed. They didn’t offer any toppings, which would have improved the experience. Additionally, the customer service was unsatisfactory.

Sandwiches are frequently stale. Rude, unhelpful staff. Dirty toilets. Over-flowing bins. And there are never any clean tables to sit at. One of the worst Pret’s in London.

Place was packed as it's a busy shopping Saturday in late November. Usual Pret offerings which is good for us. But need more staff to clean up and free up tables etc

I pass by many times this Pret going to work and Im very pleased they are open in such an early hour. Roksana is very kind and I believe can make everyone’s day happier with her caring attitude. Very good service and outstanding flat white. I’ll pop in more often for sure.

They made a simply terrible matcha latte, for some reason they added coke milk, which they didn’t ask about instead of the usual one, they added non-existent orders to the receipt (this happened to me several times already, but I thought it was just a cashier’s mistake before, now it seems suspicious to me)!! This is just terrible, we had to deal with the bill to get our money back, please always ask for a bill so as not to be defrauded( Horrible experience.

Very good quality of products. Special shout out to their coolers. This store is making them with careful attention. They are adding fruits inside to make them even better. Well done.

A nice Pret with lots of seating. Coffee prices however across all Prets are outrageous. Considering pret coffee machines for the best part are all automatic, the barristas do not need to do any puck prep like they have to in most other coffee shops, not much skill required for a basic espresso or americano, just push button. Coffee is mediocre at best. Good point however are that staff consistently seem to be really nice, so they are doing something right in the hiring process. So I still do enjoy visiting pret..sandwiches and salads have always been nice.

Pret has obviously increased prices in line with inflation and I can understand that if, and only if, Pret doubled down on their commitment to outstanding service and a brilliant customer experience. Once again, Pret's lack of investment in it's stores is clear. This outlet is dirty, in a dire state of repair and staffed by a team that clearly have no interest in maintaining a decent customer experience. Service was delivered devoid of any smile, warmth or friendliness. The store is shabby, tired, in a poor state of repair and filthy. Public toilets are cleaner and better maintained than this site. Tables and chairs are broken, tatty and ripped. Every service needs a damn good clean. The staff are not interested in clearing or cleaning any tables or self-service areas. Pret does have a serious issue with the state of its building repairs and the cleanliness and maintenance of customer toilets as this is the third site I have visited this month which I have found to be disgustingly dirty. I wouldn't mind paying Pret prices if stores were well maintained but unfortunately they are not.

Great place to meet up for a coffee ☕️. It was a shame to see so many 4 seated tables occupied by one person hugging the whole eating and sitting area. Unfortunately we had to stand outside to drink our coffee ☕️.

Overpriced. Toilets were filthy and lots of small flies present. Baby changing was available but required a good scrub with antibac before use.

They call this flat white ! What a rubbish quality. I’m not going to be difficult and I’ll just have it but, it is really disappointing and I always enjoy my mid day flat white it means a lot for me and now I’m sipping something else not sure if this is white Americano or some kind of watery coffee with watery milk.

The card payment machines do not work. When you are paying £5+ for a sandwich, it's kind of the least you expect.

Is happening some days they never open in time is always 5 min late like 6.30 have to open they open 6 .35 am but is start to happen every Monday

Coffee and food always sold with a smile. Love the energy of this pret ! Have been coning here for weeks and not stopping anytime soon. P.S. there is a barista wearing glasses I believe he’s the manager. He’s phenomenal

Toilets out of use second year in a row! What are the chances? No signage to notify in advance of purchase. I suspect is too much effort. Doesn't an eatery of this size require toilets by law?

I’m a regular at this pret on my lunch breaks at work, always a nice place to sit and people watch as it’s warm which goes for something these days. Always had a good experience with servers however the thing that is beginning to detract me from coming is the fruit fly situation. When you sit down to eat your food you are constantly having to swat away at least one fruit fly. I understand this in pubs but just question what is happening in a pret for fruit flys to infest in the way I have seen at this location.

Ordered 2 hot chocolates. Guy serving was fine. 2 ladies making drinks. One hot chocolate came up, the other did not. After them serving another 8 or so people, we managed to get their attention to say we were waiting on another one. Yes, yes, it's coming. 5 mins later, still no drink. Still waiting.... Get a mouthful of abuse about how busy they are, it's coming. Still nothing. Next, we've run out of chocolate powder, just going to get some. Lady comes back with it, and still doesn't make my drink. I have to ask again. She eventually makes my drink and makes it with Oat milk, which I didn't ask for. I take it just to get out of there. Don't bother.

Huge fan of Pret but not having a restroom operating: not cool.

I stopped to get some breakfast. Busy branch but limited seats. Mainly a communal table with low seating! Some normal tables outside. Reasonably clean but it was early. Very unlike Pret to have a clean branch. Despite being busy, service was quick and efficient. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Good selection of food. I had the Five Berry Bowl which was nice.

Got 2 subscriptions: one for me one for my friend. They wont let me use both. Thats the company line but most stores arent annoying about ut.

The worst chia latte I've ever had ,if I had wanted a hot watery milk I would of asked for one ,complained made me another one which had no taste at all ,got my money back from in the end .

As the norm with this chain it is organise chaos trying to get a hot drink….. they need some sort of system in place

had a proscuitto baguette, it was warm even when in the fridge. wish i never ate it now as i feel quite unwell. if i get food posioning, ill be asking for compo. how can you store food in that way. disgraceful.

Rude staff can't make coffee cup full of froth not prets normal standards. Bad location poor staff hence why shop is empty.

Used to be great. Now overcrowded, slow (especially the coffee) and poor quality (especially the coffee). I’m convinced this is due to the subscription - but frankly no point in ordering coffee or visiting unless absolutely necessary.

Absolutely rubbish service. Burnt tuna melt toast, and when you ask for it not to be burnt you get abused by the manager. Plenty of other places to eat I suggest if you want value for money and a polite service you walk away from this establishment. FOR THE FOOD THEY SERVE AND THE PRICE THEY CHARGE. The management needs a better attitude. I won't be going back

Waited for a coffee 15mins. Staff made 3 mistakes before they gave me my coffee. They served 7 people who came after me and they get coffee quicker than me.

Pretty poor service. Rude staff, bit of attitude and basically tossed my change at my hand and missed, and the toilet is closed during opening hours, not out of order but 'closed'.

Bit on the pricey side but it is Pret and it is London. The porridge was a nice belly warmer, but the salmon n cream cheese sandwich was a bit lacking in flavour. Seating area was spacious and the staff were friendly.

Popped into Pret at Soho today with a friend for a coffee. On previous visits I have always been greeted with a friendly welcome, however today was an awful experience. The lady who served us was abrupt and rude. She was aggressive. We gave our order then was told “What do you want” very sternly. If that wasn’t enough we waited 15 minutes for our Oder to come only to be told by another employee “ I shouted your number ages ago’. We were not given a number. Definitely will not come to this Pret again!.

Toilets out of order and no indication of this on entry. Unacceptable, particularly for any visitors with disabilities or indeed anyone that may wish to wash their hands before eating.

This is one of my favourite places to visit, however yesterday I ordered a tea, too much milk had been added and it resembled a cup of hot milk when I requested an additional tea bag I was told by the female assistant that I would have to be charged an additional cost. I found this wholly unfair as it was her error in the first place, I refused to pay for this and had to make do with my cup of hot milk!!

Dirty toilet - only 1 in use - very poor

I enjoy Pret. The staff are happy and friendly and the food is yummy. Maybe it was the time in which I arrived but I remember there being more choice (hence 4 and not 5 stars). Having said that, the food was great and I very much enjoyed the brownie (and so did my daughter). Next time, I'll have to buy 2 (brownies).

Only came in for a coffee, it was all done very quickly, friendly bunch, had no issues.

Door was locked at 7:39pm despite the opening times in the door stating it was open till 8pm. On google it says it is open until 8:30pm.

I semi-frequently visit this institution and find the staff are always working hard, and providing friendly service. It often becomes quite busy and I am often astounded at the rudeness of fellow customers who seem too important to wait more than a minute for their 99p filter coffee when it is clear that the staff are working their hardest to fulfill all the orders. Credit to them for putting up with. Good cheap coffee.

For a fast food place is really great. Healthy-ish food and certain variety makes it a place you can use every week for your work lunch. They offer salads, soups, sandwiches, quiches mong others. Coffe is ok and the juices are offered in plastic bottles only which is not ideal. They have tried to reduce plastic use but still long go to go. Plenty of indoor places to it since has aso upstairs. Toilets are normally clean. Prices are average for London and service is good.

Much as my other reviews for Pret branches. Coffee, teas, sarnies, rolls, wraps, soup, pastries etc. All good quality. A bit over reliant on mayonnaise for me. Crowded branch due to the location. You need the door code from your receipt to use the loo.

Pret is ways a great.fo to place. However the service is slowing down I noticed. The taking of the order is at a pace but then they just have lots of people milling about waiting for drinks. Really do need to find a way to manage the existing people whilst servicing more customers. Perhaps more staff making the coffee processing the orders would help.

Love the plantbased and more healthy choices they are offering. Even free filtered tap water. Always happy when I see a Pret. Today my regular ginger shot, and an oat milk and tried the avo toast. Perfect breakfast aka brunch. And friendly and attentive service. Until next time!

Service was slow, all the tables needed cleaning and there was a permenant cue for the toilets. Avoid this place as the Pret on the other side of Oxford street is much better. Guy at the till was just useless, unusual for Pret. This is where they normally excel.
