Pret a Manger in Camden

Terrible service and no manners from staff. Me and my family went in to have a drink and talk at 5:30pm on Saturday, but we all got kicked by the staff (Indian man) before 6pm shouting at us: WE’RE CLOSED GET OUT GET OUT. I checked and this Pret was supposed to be open until 7pm, however what really bothered us was the staff. The place wasnt full, he could’ve approached us and talked to us. I don’t know whats happening with the hiring standards nowadays, but that’s no way of treating customers, for sure we’ll never go again.

Shakira was a diligent and cheerful person who made really delicious drinks. I hear that sadlly she is leaving which will be a great loss. She was a popular and hard working .

I visited A pret Manger in Holborn 2 weeks ago. Monica’s kindness and dedication truly stood out during my visit. Despite the item I wanted not being available on the shelves, she went above and beyond to prepare it specifically for me and personally brought it over. Double charged for same order! Pret did sort it within a week but should not have happened in the first place.

One of the best Prêt locations in my book. Always kind at the till, always clean, and the lighting from the many windows really makes it a great space to hang out or get some work done.

Clean, spacious cafe with affordable prices. I went almost my entire stay in London to have breakfast or lunch there. Of all the Pret A Manger that there were, I would say that this is the one that I liked the most because of its cleanliness, its distribution, its spaciousness and its service.

Very spacious, clean place, the cappuccino was very delicious, I also ordered a pastel de nata (small) which was very delicious, I would definitely return to try all their options (they have many sandwiches, salads and sweet bread)

Has plenty of seating for individuals and plenty of sockets- UK and USB! And free wifi! A work oasis.

I am a regular customer; I get my morning coffee every day from your shop (125 High Holborn). Every day, I have a strong coconut latte. I have been a customer here since 29 April 2024, so about 6 weeks. Unfortunately, four times (and today was the fourth) I have received a regular coconut latte, instead of a STRONG one. When they put my coffee on the counter (the barista literally throws it), they always say what coffee they have made - in my case it would be "strong coconut latte". After the first only "coconut latte" I have been observing the barista how they make my coffee. It has happened twice, and the second time was today, that they said "coconut latte" and when I asked them if it is strong, they just simply said "Yes." - As I have this coffee every day, I can taste the difference between a regular and a strong one. I pay £30 for my subscription every month, so I would like to get the coffee I order. So, please keep an eye on your barista, their attitude and if they make a mistake, they at least should admit it and make another coffee or make it strong. If I experience that they are trying to make me stupid again, I will contact your head office and make a formal complaint. Next day.... Today, I went to this Pret shop again. Unfortunately, same problem: my coconut latte was not strong. Plus, the barista was unprofessional: he put three cups of coffee on the counter without telling the customers what kind of coffee they were. Then I talked to the manager, who was very friendly and understanding. I explained her the whole situation and she assured me that she would talk to the staff. She kindly made a STRONG coconut latte for me, so a big thank you to her (young blond hair lady).

This is a cool spot conveniently near the tube station. The ambiance is pleasant and the inside is modern and bright. Too many laptop users occupy most of the seats, but the seating is generally alright. The food is a mix of great and fine. I had the Chicken Caesar & Bacon baguette, which was amazing and fresh. But other options are just ok. The coffee is poor though, which was disappointing. Service is usually brilliant. The staff are nice. I think this a fantastic place with decent food and coffee. On a good day, it's wonderful; on a bad day, it can feel like rubbish. Nevertheless, the location is superb for a quick stop in central London.

I've been waiting for 20 minutes and they don't open, it should have been open for 30 minutes! Shame!

Nice sandwich and coffee on the way to the theatre

It's fairly big, only one toilet and a disabled one. Somehow this Pret is staffed with rude people, probably it's the management. Too many laptop users occupy most of the seats, similar to the one down the road, packed with laptop users.

Decent food and coffee. It was uncrowded during my visit, so I felt comfortable and was able to relax.

A coffee shop that no longer sells the most basic coffee known to humanity and that's a black filter coffee. Wow, just wow. This coffee is available at every other pret for £1.70.. Instead I was forced to buy a Americano for £3.20. Talk about greed, I guess a black filter is to little of money for them. Won't be coming back here at all.

Nice location and interior. Fresh sandwiches. Great variety of snacks and drinks available. Chai latte is great.

Latelly the Mocha has not been well done. They are mistaken on that. But in General still the best coffee place so far. The sandwich Its pretty nice.

The food is always fresh, tables are not too clean and there's no toilet. But it is on a very convenient location

This is a great location for meetings, work remote. Nice and spacious. Didn’t find the food as appealing as it use to be, but this is overall in London. I love PRET’s drinks and almond croissant.

The service was very very poor. The staff was very rude and literally not doing her job correctly, the way she was dealing was just so chaotic. She mixed up my orders, so had to wait almost 10 minutes for my actual order while she was prioritising other people. She didn’t give me my receipt but someone else’s with different orders. After this poor and disgusting service I just wanted have my cash back which didn’t happened. I just decided to leave without taking my PAID items. Hopefully someone from a higher management will see this and just fix their disgusting service that their staffs provide.

Can you let your manager know that cafes must have toilets if they have more than 20 seating! That’s the law! You’re serving thousands of customers a day and people can’t wash their hands! It used to have, now we are being told that it’s blocked! 3 months now! Very bad management!

Asked if my 3 year old could use the toilet as she was about to wet herself. I was told that it was out of order, that’s fine. As I walked away though, the staff said something to each other and started laughing. Maybe i am being paranoid, but I didn’t appreciate it at all, and they weren’t very helpful. If they were parents themselves then I think they would have had more empathy.

Always dirty, poorly stocked and last time told the fridges don't work - explains why all the drinks were warm. Overpriced, poor quality, dirty and can't even maintain thier fridges.

My worst Pret experience ever. They no longer do filter coffee forcing you to purchase the much more expensive Americano. They handed it to me without a sleeve burning my hand. The jambon tasted like fish. No napkins and then to top it off the toilet is out of order and has been blocked for days they said (an excuse to not have to clean the toilets after the public I bet)

I used to be a Pret fan, but the food and beverages disappoint these days. The croissants can be too dry, and the flat whites should be much stronger.

Food and drinks as always in Pret is good and not a problem. Its the clientele, in this branch, without drinks or food some sat with laptops and others just stinking and feet on the seating. They need moving on. And the toilets is worse than dirty. And most of the tables wobble.

The tall guy with facial hair was very rude and miserable. I know we all don't like our jobs now and again but it's not my fault you don't like yours. And to top it all off I got to work and there was ONE slice of bacon in my bacon roll, for £3.65. rip off. Not happy ☹️ (just like the bloke who served me)

Not very impressed with the service today. I asked for a ‘tall latte’ by mistake which is what I normally order from Costa. The lady who served me had to ask her colleague what a tall latte is to which she replied ‘no idea’. I did make a mistake in not knowing you only serve a standard size coffees but tall lattes do exist and are rather common. No need to pretend that they don’t because ‘we at Pret’ do things differently.

I’d consider this the UK equivalent to Panera Breads in the US. Very reasonable if you just need a quick bite and some coffee on your way to something else.

Large, convenient branch in Holborn. At 4pm it didn't have much by way of gluten free food available.

It was my slowest pret experience EVER, the staff warming up the Toastie put one in at a time which meant me and my husband had to wait twice as long, when it came out was shoved back in which meant the cheese was no longer in the toastie. No care and really slow staff

Cappuccino was not as good as the usual. One male cashier was very impatient handling cash. Forgot to put in one item of my two item order. Kept shaking his head because I wanted to pay by cash, not sure why he even has an attitude about it.

Worst pret in London. Staff are so so rude. Been there few times now. Wrong coffee/food orders given (I have severe allergens too) toast dropped and then second one given to wrong customer. Really rude staff in general. I am a huge fan of pret and have been for many years but never had such a rude experience than the one here.

Solid food and easy to get if you are in a hurry especially. It isn’t very cheap, but there is a good variety of sandwiches and soups.

Sandwiches are really old and mushy, with way too much butter. Have bought the same ones at other Prets around the city where they were way better.

Ordered iced coffee that was just ice and perhaps some coffee. It justvtasted of water with a mild coffee flavour. The place has no toilets for customers either. Or if they do, they didn't want to share with me. The place itself was nice and cool.

Some of crew seem to be very rude and clashing between themselves. Ola is passive agresive towards staff and customers at times. Very dry customer service.

I came to London for a month, so I bought a monthly subscription for drinks, they had a 50% on in as well so I paid 12,50£. For that I could 5 coffee/frappe/milkshakes/smoothies every day, which is unbelievable! Sometimes some drinks are out of stock, but I can live with that, if I can drink more than a hundred time for that prize. All the drinks have good taste too!

Order 2 coffees and received 1 5 minutes later I received the second after 2 people who had ordered after me not good service

The coffee is really good and I love the coffee subscription, but I regularly wait for 15+ minutes for my coffee here. Just today I witnessed two girls order after me but get their order way before I did. Very disappointing.

I had a quick baguette here. For lunch afternoon on a Monday. Wasn't too busy. One thing to note they have multiple entrances but only the left most one is currently open.

Always having to wait for drinks.

I like Pret food,but this time ,wasn't good. Soup was cold ,so had to tell one staff ,who took another soup from the shelves and went to reheat in microwave. Was quite cold outside and was looking forward to a hot 🔥 soup. The toilets were not clean and sat there for a bit as waiting for someone and still same after 1H :(( Toilet was blocked 🚫 Toilet brash cost only £1 ,sure you can replace more often,as were dirty. This branch-that day seems very stress,staff in training,manager quite rude as have ordered a ham toaster and was not told that it wouldn't be brought at the table,so waited and waited for a good 15min.and nothing so went I went at the till ,my sandwich sat there and got cold The manager said: we don't bring at the table,told her, she should have informed me . A day before went in Algate East-staff and managers were brilliant, manager attitude was very professional and welcoming ,in a very good mood,just nice atmosphere.. They've even brought ham toast at the table. The branch in Holborn-needs more work and training However in both beaches- toilet were not to a good standard. In Algate East - even had a big bin that was blocking the entrance in the toilet,far to big for that small toilet and not safe at all ,it has a hazard for injury and in case of a fire.

The friendliest workers and the most well prepared pret a manger I've been too. The workers make this place a great cafe.

This is the branch opposite / near Sainsbury's and a few doors away from My Old Dutch. Some of the photographs show the incorrect branch. Pleasant and friendly service. Take away only lockdown 3 COVID-19 pandemic. Limited selection and reduced hours as per most places at present. Big branch. Clean. Social distancing well managed. Definitely one of the better branches in terms of service and cleanliness. Great for coffee, breakfast and lunch. You will always find something. Love the fact they display calories as well. Some of the salads however are higher in calories than the sandwiches! I hope they bring back the full range soon.

La chaîne qu'on retrouve tous les 500 m à Londres propose un choix de sandwich raisonnable à des prix eux aussi raisonnable. C'est bon, c'est pas très cher, on a pas du pain français mais pour une grande chaîne c'est satisfaisant.

Nice branch. Huge selection of sandwiches. Great selection of hot food. Good service. Checkout queue needs improving. When ordering a hot drink, they sometime say to stand on one side. Then they forget about you and you are waiting for your drink. I think Starbucks by far has the best system.
