I visited a costa coffee store today with my dog just to get some food. As I walked in the "manager" was looking me up and down. I selected some food from their cabinet. I was then walking to pay. The manager says will you be eating here and stared at my dog. I asked why and she carried on looking at the dog. I put the items down and walked towards the door. She said it is our policy and it says so on the door. She then walked me to the door that only had the opening times with no policy. Oh we took it down when the window was cleaned today. I said how was I supposed to know. The way I was treated made me very upset. It is not my fault that there was no sign. Why should I be treated in such a way. Work men with dirty construction clothes can sit in but not me (suited and booted) with an exceptionally well behaved dog on a lead. Their loss and I will be sure that I let people know about how you get treated.

Manage to find this nice Costa just off from Covent Garden. I did arrive just before it closed but the staff were so friendly and between their busy work closing the shop and tidying up I purchased a coffee before it closed. When I am back at Covent Garden I will return to sit and drink/eat as it does look a nice chilled out place to relax with a coffee.

My wife & i visit London regularly & this is always our first stop of the day. VERY consistent products served by really friendly staff.

Great hot drinks and snacks. A nice location that is away from the crowds. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Food place to go.

I visited yesterday as searching for a place I will be going in two weeks ! I needed to go toilet first and whilst in there I came across a mess in the toilet.It appears some people just have no respect for others ! However, after mentioning it to a staff member KRISTINE, she decided that it was worth giving me the coffee I ordered for FREE ! This was great customer service and to be honest the toilet was sorted out really quick ! That said, sandwich was great, coffee hot and place and staff very friendly indeed !

A really nice Costa shop very large and spacious so your not squashed! Very clean and tidy whilst we were they and so were the toilets. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Staff very friendly

Really spacious costa with lots of indoor seating. Service was quick and with a smile. Quality of coffee was average and there are a lot of choices available especially with festive drinks and food

We needed a quick refreshment stop on our way to see School of Rock in Drury Lane. This is the closest Costa shop and whilst it looks tiny though attractive from the outside, it opens up inside. With bare brick walls and displaying lots of eclectic artwork, high ceilings and a open plan layout - it has comfy seating as well as tables and chairs and feels deceptively spacious. The Costa brand of coffee assures you a delicious coffee and coupled with a brie and bacon panini was perfect for our 10 min break before dashing to the theatre.

GET my iced coffee and breakfast from here at 7 am every morning. Staff are always cheerful and helpful, place is very clean and coffee is great.

I have been to many branches of Costa Coffee and usually like the experience. This was not an exception - staff were working really hard yet maintained smiles and helpful service. Coffee was very good and the pain aux raisins really fresh and delicious. I thin this chain is generally very reliable and consistent.

Conosciamo molto bene questa catena e di solito la scegliamo per la colazione, anche se il cappuccino non è certo buono come in Italia. Went in to get a coffee for my wife, take away, but ended up sitting in. Service was good with a nice warm feel to the shop. Visited the toilet, only 2 toilets, one of which was blocked but a member of staff came and fixed it.

Ther is no point in mentioning the food or drinks as let's face it a Costa is a Costa but I do have to mention the staff. Ehght of us visited on Saturday lunch time. We only wanted a snack and a coffee. The staff were great. I don't know if it was because the eight of us with one exception are in our early seventies, the exception being a young girl in her sixties, but they could not have been more helpful. They pointed us to a table then took our order delivered our drinks etc and checked that we had everything we needed. Well done!

The usual Costa fare but the staff are exceptionally friendly and there is a good buzz about this place

As usual this Costa offers all the options we'd expect but being in Covent Garden it is in a fantastic setting.

I visit Costa quite a lot around the country and I have to say this is one of the worst I have been in. The air conditioning was on full blast making it incredibly cold and uninviting although the staff did agree to turn it...

Visited today for refreshments during our visit to London. Coffee & hot chocolates were delicious- staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Would recommend this store.

I find most Costa's to be very consistent with their coffee, and this one was no exception. Good service, and great location.

My wife wanted a gluten free wrap or sandwich. The attitude of staff was so dismissive when asked about it. We walked out. Usually a place where you get good service but perhaps if there were English speakers we might have got better service.

Nice Costa Coffee - I like that the quality and taste doesn't seem to change from one Costa to the next - the Costa Snack bar is delicious, and the Granola Square is superb.

Have been here quite a few times recently, it's down a side street. It's often quiet, the food is hot (unlike other costas) the coffee is good and I sit in the window and watch the world go by. It's a great place to sit...
