Pret A Manger in City of London, Westminster

Overall good food. Try the Tuna and cucumber sandwich. Really excellent. Courteous and reliable staff but no wipes! Solve the problem! Fairly positive experience.

All the food is fresh, they make it daily. Lots of variety. Their range of coffees are quite good.

The Coffee and food it's amazing! Staff in general really nice but in this shop the staff was not. they didn't allow me to use the toilet facilities (of course I was having a bite and coffee) and the blond guy was not nice at all. Should treat better your costumers!

Friendly but no bathroom so big let down

Total disgrace. Slow,half awake baristas, unwelcoming lady on the till. The original team,before the lockdown, was above and beyond in customer service, welcoming,smiling, and just nice. Shame,now this place is no go for me.

This is a great Pret branch. It has a lot of food and drink options. We enjoyed sitting there and eat an healthy and tasty breakfast.

Bought.a sweet choco bar that was quite dry. Didn’t seem fresh. Place also needs more staff to maintain it, as it s high priced .

Nice place to have a cup of coffee while enjoying the view of Tower of London. There is no toilet in the cafe, though. The closest toilet is in Starbucks just across the cafe or the public toilet not far from there.

Hot Barista Drinks only, no cold drinks (Lattes, Smoothies or Frappes) available.

Difficult to judge a chain. All I had was a tea, it doesn't feel fair to judge the chain on that but, as it's required, it's ok, 3 stars!

Not a very good experience! I like my coffee strong! I am very happy about the Pret monthly card, that you can use it to get many coffees daily over the month! I have been a Pret customer for many many years and have always loved their attitude and attention towards their customers! If there was ever any little problem they would go out of their way to rectify it, giving me free coffee etc. i always felt valued and appreciated at Pret! Until today in their Great Portland St branch! I asked for my usual strong coffee with two shots! I was charged for the extra shot! When i got the coffee it was very weak! Gently asked the guy at the till for a stronger coffee or to put some more in my cup to make it stronger. Instead of doing it he started arguing that their coffees came like that, that he didn’t want to miss coffee at the end of the month, etc etc Even though i reminded him that i was charged the extra , he continued on his way with the other lady making the coffees! Even though i reminded him that i can have any type of coffee included with my Pret Card, he was insisting and finding ways to argue about it and made me feel so embarrassed in front of the other customers! Not a nice feeling at all! And different from all Prets i have been to over the years! After much discussion they put some more coffee in my cup! But the experience left me very disappointed to say the least! And on top of everything? Still it was the worst Pret coffee i ever had!

Does all drinks HOT cold frappe shakes. Nice staff . Nice drink.

This particular outlet served just a bit warm (not hot) Latte. While Pret offers very good food with variety, there is only on standard size for latte or cappuccino. They should consider regu6, medium and large size serving offering for hot drinks.

Usual range of drinks, sandwiches, soups, etc. Service is fast, and there is a reasonable chance of finding a seat if you want to eat in.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the Manager and the gentleman who served me yesterday. I was already having a terrible day after a visit to Harley Street so I popped to get a coconut milk latte to relax. I ended up spilling the entire thing in the middle of this Pret and burst into tears. The manager instantly got me a new coffee and told me it was okay and while I was waiting (still bawling my eyes out) another gentleman asked me if I wanted a cookie to cheer me up. Thank you very much for being so kind to a very embarrassed cry baby!

One of the nicest Pret in the area. It's quite clean compared to others. If you visit Pret, I recommend having this yoghurt.

The food here was tasty and fresh. I especially liked the mango banana parfait cup, it was delicious!

New speakers play music too loudly. Food is ok but always overpriced.

What can I say. Pret is a formula, but this is a nice branch. Good seating area, efficient service and happy staff and usual Pret food. You cant really go wrong

Good organic coffee and croissants. Basic fare but convenient. Ok service. Flat white coffee only served in 8 oz cups.

I go here every day for my morning coffee and chocolate croissant. Most days the croissant is served crushed - same as all other Prets. Tongs are used to get the croissant from the oven to the tray (crush 1) then tongs from tray to bag (crush 2). I love Pret, go for lunch too!! But don't understand why they can't simply pick the croissant up by hand using the paper they use on the serving tray if you eat in and put it in the bag. Its their staple product, why are they treating it and the customer with such disrespect?

When I go out and I'm paying for a service I expect that I'm and certainly my wife are treated with respect and professionally, sadly on this occasion this was not the case. We selected our food and went to the counter and was engaged by a man who asked for our drinks order which was fine however he then went onto ignore us when the other member of staff was going through a complaint with a customer. I wouldn't have minded if the guy had treated us with a little bit of respect but he totally ignored us as we where trying to give him out order so he could speak to this other member of staff. I was on the verge of walking out but my wife preferred to stay. Totally not the level of customer service of manners I'd expect

This was the least crowded of the row of coffee shops. The toilet was out of action which was a pain. Staff were pleasant enough though.

Standard branch of Pret. Good coffee, tea, cold drinks, wraps, sarnies, some hot food. Not cheap. Sit in or takeaway. Near London City tourist sites and offices. Not comfortable for sitting long. Service good. Clean. Appeared to be no loo, or it may have been well hidden.

I always like the soup at lunchtime. It is always tasty and hot enough. It is very busy at lunchtime as you would expect - but I found somewhere to sit. Only criticism having been in for lunch most days last week and again this week is that the menu does repeat each week, and gets a bit boring. Still better than most of the competition and definitely beats taking food back to the office.

Rude staff! I asked to eat 'out' and then was told that I had paid for a 'take-away' after sitting at an outside table! Obviously like many places they charge extra to eat 'in' (I presume this means ALL tables), which is a common 'con' in anyone's books... This is a rule that must change!' Went to Costa just up the hill, which has much better coffee!👍

Warm welcome, very staff heavy with everyone playing their role with a friendly atmosphere. Great selection of meals and drinks. Manager was approachable welcome customers and ensured that the seating area was smart.(I think manager... wearing a suit and was also giving a staff member a little guidance)

This is the best coffeehouse in the area. The coffee tastes good, the place is clean and cool. More than all of that, the people are amazing. The staff are very helpful, friendly and always with a smile. That makes a huge difference when you are working and take a break. Alex, Marc, Alex and Marcello are amazing! Give it a shot and you'll like it too!

I've become an instant fan of Pret but this one has a single toilet for everyone and it isn't restricted to paying customers only. It was dirty, too.

Over in the City and passing by so needed a snack and a coffee. Lot of City people use this and the queue was quite bad and not even lunch time! Anyway got my coffee and small salad, standard Pret Fare. Service a bit slow. Popped in February 2017 not crowded which is good to stop and have a coffee

Typique d'un sogood français , le prêt-à-manger offre tout ce qu'il y a de rapide et simple ( sandwichs, wraps chauds et même soupe miso !). On s'en est sorti pour 13£ avec ma compagne et en prenant les boissons, un fruit et la fameuse soupe. Très bon endroit pour casser la faim bon et pas cher. Je recommande.

Ready made sandwiches, soups, warm wraps, parties and coffee. Very little seating, this is the perfect place to grab a quick breakfast or take away lunch. Their is another Pret further up the street with more seating if you're meeting someone.
