Prestwich Balti in Bury

I got myself a keema vindaloo khabuli rice and 2 chapatis, and it was one of the best curries I ever had not overly spicy with layer upon layer of taste it was amazing, and the chapati were nice and thin and super fluffy amazing food I will be back soon for more.

Although it was only 5 minutes late (our address is not the easiest to find) The food was absolutely fantastic! We highly recommend this place!!!

I had a Balti special Biryani £9.99. Alltough the meal was OK there wasn't much meat ect.The Balti sauce was a bit bland not much flavour. All in all I wasn't impressed with the overall experience. 3 out of 5 from me.

the jali bhuna from here is outstanding this is the place to get a curry trust me you won't be sorry

Ordered tonight for the first time and couldn’t fault it!! Delivery was really quick and food was piping hot. The portions are really generous, got the meal for 1 and an extra curry and was more than enough for two people, really tasty food!

I literally dream of their spicy butter chicken. Eating it is a transcendent experience.

delivery took a while, but this was explained when I ordered and I was sent updates and was to be expected on a Saturday evening, that didn't bother me as the food was absolutely worth the wait, big generous portions and so tasty, will definitely recommend here and will be ordering again.

Best curry takeaway in the area... its a bit of a trek for me...... and I could telephone order but I enjoy the chat with the guys. Friendly and helpful.

Very poor just recieved what can only be described as a god awful takeout food standard not upto its usual I’ve used here many times and sang its praises for food taste and quality this was so sweet pre-made not fresh spices looked like baby puree sauce bright orange no depth to it and poor amount of chicken and cold soggy chips very disappointed as always had good food needless to say it’s in the bin and will not repeat the service

Ordered a medium curry it come hot. My children couldn't eat the curry or my partner. Chips were soggy and cold. And order was delivered late.

I placed an order through Uber Eats. Half an hour later, I had a call from the takeaway asking me to cancel the order because their system had crashed, and they couldn't fulfil the order. I got in touch with Uber Eats, who said they couldn't get in touch with prestwich balti. They clearly couldn't be bothered fulfilling my order, and it was on me to try and rectify the situation. I'm an hour into talking to Uber eats support, and I'm not getting anywhere. Don't order from these guys. They don't have any respect for people placing orders with them and try to deflect responsibility.

Tell you what. Proper cuisine served at this establishment. Ended up flying in here after the game tother week, ordered two kebabs and an handful of chicken wings. Thanked bossman for his fantastic service and raced off into the moonlight. Only went and forgot my keys to the abode dint a. Tried ringing the doorbell, to no avail. Next option was getting my mouth as far in the post box as possible and shouting “Tinaaaaaa!!!!!” Still the Mrs did not come to the door. Finally I’ve got the prop from round back and banged it ont window. After about fifteen minutes of consistent tapping on the double glazing the light’s come on and she’s come and got me. Kebabs frozen and she’s greeted me with divorce papers. After another twenty minutes of verbal jousting with my significant other, I finally tucked into my Indian cuisine. Top, top gear.

I asked for mild rogan Josh it was very hot and spicy what I received so couldn’t eat it.

Gorgeous food and quick service! One of the best places for a curry takeaway, so much to choose from on the menu too. Disappointing to see reviews that give a low rating because of ‘religious paraphernalia’. When i was there, there were two small copies of the Quran on a window ledge, I wasn’t forced to read it and recite verses from it to be given my food.

Was sad to find the food not up to standard and also to find Islamic paraphernalia mostly all over the public waiting area I don't want to see any religious books ? And paraphernalia in any public food? shops. And back to the food 3 out of 10 was very disappointed.

If want to know about Islam I'll go to the library not a Bangladeshi take away

I ordered a set menu for 1 with King Prawn Curry - it was so GOOD and very generous portion! Delivery was quick.

Chicken and donner on naan would not recommend meat was tough and tasted like it was frozen and reheated, very poor will not order again 4/10

1hour 40mins for an order for 2 people. Called when delivery was late and just got "its on its way, thanks bye" not the service I would expect, 1st and last time i will be ordering from there!

Terrible food was a hour after just eat said order was on the way! Customer service was awful such a bad attitude when just asking where food was!

Good is really good but tonight they gave me the wrong rice. I called up and they said they would give me the right one next time and that they were busy. They then hung up.

This is an amazing takeaway..the food is so tasty and plentiful..it never fails..We have moved away from the area and really miss PB..was visiting on Thursday and couldn't come away without a PB takeaway-V happy customers!!👍😊❤

This is the 3rd time we have ordered , and the food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the mix grill for two,the lamb was so tender and tasty, and not rubbery like other places.Our favourite sauce atm is the spicy Coriander 😋

Ordered this weekend as we have done as a family for around 20 years I wanted something hot and tasty and was recommended the Jali Bhuna this did not disappoint, very tasty and hot would definitely recommend. We got the set meal for two chicken tikka masala was gorgeous also and the onion bhajis and naan bread can’t wait to order again soon! No Indian takeaway compares in prestwich !

We order from here occasionally, always satisfied. The food is 👍, we have never had any issues. The madras is outstanding, very tasty and great value for money, the quality of the food always tastes fresh, delivery is great, usually its earlier that the expected time. Always a great curry from Prestwich balti, an impressive menu with a history of the curry/flavour profiles included. Literally never a bad experience, food is always outstanding, flavoursome curry sauces with tender meat. Impressive range of side dishes too, would recommend the Paneer.

Waited 2 hours for 1 curry my baby was starving rang 3 times and lied every time how long it was going to be never order from here again

The kebabs even though they are a great size I didn’t realise they came with out salad as it didn’t say in the website so I found that very disappointing also the Donna was cold and very over done! And there were a lot of hard bits in the meat which made it very unpleasant to try and eat the Nann bread was cold and tough and the chips were also cold! I am disappointed as it’s a lot of money to pay for food when a takeaway has been recommended to you and the food isn’t up to much

Wouldn’t have an Indian from anywhere else, we have recently moved to bury and still travel to collect our takeaway it’s that good ! Garlic chicken chats are amazing ! Always hot and quick service.

Kebabs are a NO for me donner meat and chicken tikka rock hard as though it’s been warmed up 6th time now i’ve give them a go but been terrible everytime go to saffron express down the road fresher and nicer, wont be going back ever again
