Premier Inn Wellingborough hotel in Wellingborough

I’ve stayed for quite some time and it’s been great. The entire staff is pleasant and most especially the manager Victoria. She is very helpful, on top of all issues and great management skills. 👍🏽

Hotel is ok, nothing more. Rooms noisy and floor going soft, rooms tatty. Arrived to no card payments available. No draught drinks in the bar. Restaurant absolutely shambles. Slow service poor food. Waited 30 minutes for 2 eggs and a sausage to come out. Tonight guided to a table quickly then nothing, not given a menu, not offered a drink. After 20 minutrs, I walked out! Go to pizza place, much better and friendly service. Never again!

For this price, the hotel actually so good. Very big room, helpful staff and in very good location

Not a great stay here. A very tired hotel with uneven sinking floors in the room, a TV that has no main channels BBC1, 2 or ITV, channel 4 &5 just adult and shopping or garbage TV. The front reception staff never gave any details until I asked about restaurant times, breakfast times etc. Never mentioned booking was required so missed two evening meals here, restaurant was tired when I finally got a table on day 3. I then find that parts of the menu are not available. Breakfast deteriorated as the week progressed, no sausages let toaster broke, coffee machine broke, and 6.30 opening got later and later with half of the stuff not put out like bread, cereals, juices and forced to ask for it. Internet was non existent to gain access. I have had better stays at a Travel Lodge!! I would go elsewhere if I were you, as I will next time.

By far the worse premier inn I've ever stayed at . All night party's going on in multiple rooms that the staff are fully aware of but will not do anything about. This happens regularly according to staff . The premier inns own restaurant is the worse food and service I have ever encountered- half of the menu was not available and when the dishes they did have available come to the table most of the items where missing . Staff said they have run out - very slow moaning staff . The staff finally moved my room at 0330 am but no more sleep. The ceilings are so hollow I could hear the phone conversation upstairs

Stayed here recently and although I had a good stay it was a game of two halves between the hotel and the food. Hotel wise it was good. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was really comfy I slept like a baby. I have no issues with the hotel side of things and would recommend this hotel. Food wise this is where the overall rating drops a star. When I stayed I think they were doing some work at the restaurant so the evening meal menu was limited and then they didn’t have everything that was on it but the quality of the evening meal was still good. The breakfast at hotels is always make or break for me, it’s made to order which I can deal with but the quality of it was poor and not like the evening meal the night before. The poor breakfast isn’t enough to put me off staying here again but felt it needed to be mentioned.

The receptionist (male) was great. He straight away apologised for not having food on site for an evening meal... only breakfast! I went to my room.... the corridor stunk of cannabis. I looked on line to find a different hotel after being told that they would do a refund. (That all happened) Bottom line.... a bit shabby, great staff but NO EVENING MEAL!

Difficult to find with very poor access to the entrance.

The car park lights were shining through the curtain edges So I had to use the chair to pin one side further over to reduce the light coming into the room

Had a good night's sleep. One thing to bear in mind is that breakfast is to-order so add an extra 10 mins into your plans

I stop in a lot of Premier Inns around the country this one was pretty good. The room was clean and tidy, check-in was quick. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is in the Beefeater restaurant which is a short walk across the car park. Premier inn all you can eat breakfast is always great quality, its not a help yourself one though instead the waitress takes your order. Note this hotel does not have a lift, but its only two floors but choose a ground floor if you need it. The room did not have air-con, just a plug in electric fan. The view out the window was looking out onto the football pitch of Wellingborough Town. Deffo would stop at this hotel again.

This particular premier inn is a bit tired, in my opinion, but I still had a comfortable night's sleep.
