Lovely food, always come back for it

Probably the worst take away we've ever had since living up here for 10 years. Opened up today after being on holiday. Prawn crackers were stale, so no idea when they were made. Salt and chilli chicken hadn't seen any salt or chilli. Dumplings - literally tasted of nothing. Duck was cold and slimy. Couldn't even touch it. Special rice - plain rice with a few cold meats thrown on top. No flavour. Distinct lack of flavour, msg, soy - anything. Was like an Iceland buffet. Very disappointed after hearing good things from others. Wouldn't return. 1 star food hygiene rating. Defo wish we would have checked first!!

Fantastic food and the staff are always helpful, even on really big party orders.

Staying in the village for a couple of weeks so good to have a couple of takeaways but would definitely travel to this place. Two meals and both have been absolutely excellent.

I feel sorry for the person behind the counter as they spent the entire time apologising. Ordered salt and pepper wings and singapore noodles. Problem number 1 they couldn't take card and had no change. Eventually sorted that problem. Problem 2 all out of singapore noodles ok fine agreed to switch to normal chow mein. Order arrives regrettably I didn't check the dishes before leaving and the chow mein is ok but the wings have transformed into either deep fried beef or chicken as they are so overcooked difficult to tell. Alas I will avoid in the future.

such good customer service and really easy to communicate over the phone there’s never a long waiting time for the food and always tastes 10 out of 10. been coming here since i moved into the village and really don’t plan on changing that. when we ordered food for our friend with allergies they were so easy going and helped to much when picking out the right food.

The people there are very nice and the food is done quickly and is very tasty I have been multiple times now and has been amazing everytime. I also work here on certain days and the boss is very nice and gives food out sometimes to the employees all around and is a wonderful spot to pick up some Chinese if you are in town and looking for some quick and cheap food.

Not bad, but not great either. Noodles a bit oily, and the (chef special) Kung Po sauce had a distinct burnt/plastic taste (not a delicious wok hei), and I would not order that again - everything else was good. For those of you that enjoy leftovers - Portions in plastic dishes are all on the small side, where other local places are usually full/larger dishes. Cash only is a pain too. It would not take much to make this place a 5* and encourage locals to support a village enterprise.

Great food especially salt and chilli tofu, great service

This Chinese is great. We visited Grendon for the weekend and wanted a takeaway on Saturday night. Really reasonable prices, around £40 for 5 of us and that was a lot of food. They gave us 2 bags of prawn crackers which is great and a bunch of fortune cookies. Would defo recommend.

The food is excellent and good value. Could be quicker though, if they tell you it'll be 15 minutes, I'd give them 25.

Cash only!? Yip, no cards Strong smell of black mould/mildew in the shop front. Food was hot, very tasty and very spicy.

The food here is OK sometimes though it can be very hit or miss as sometimes the food is very tasty but other times it can be awful and the prices keep going up which isn't good in the current climate

Fantastic food, huge portions and friendly service A+++

Ordered Singapore chow mien, mushroom chow mien, king prawn cashew with baby sweet corn, lemon chicken and rice. The chow mien’s were overly salty, almost inedible, the king prawn had one cashew and was 50%onion. The free prawn crackers were ok though

It’s okay food. Not the best, as it doesn’t offer basics like Wonton soup or DimSum - these would be winners here. Also rather than use foil trays why not the recycled cartons like they use in the US.

Went here for first time yesterday. Had chicken curry. Chicken fried rice. BBQ spare ribs and chips. The good was gorgeous. Not greasy and fatty like in some places. Only reason for not getting five stars is my very slight disappointment that they didn't do banana/pineapple fritters

Fab fried won tons and so far we've ordered around half a dozen times and always had lovely fresh food.

The oil the food was cooked in tasted old - yuk!! Ribs tasted cheap - prawn crackers were ok.

Just enjoyed a very tasty meal. Fast efficient service and polite staff.will be back

Good food. Quick service. Cash only though which can be abit of a hassle if you have to go get cash out however cash machine is it down the road in the local coop.

Disappointing... waited 20 minutes and ordered sweet and sour Hong Kong style sauce was like water chicken was chewy, chicken chow mein was ok, chips were incredibly dry to the point that where they needed washing down.

Use it regularly and never had a bad meal😆
