Premier Inn Thurrock East hotel in Thurrock

Stayed here for one night room was clean but strong smell of damp...and £7 to park !!!

When we stayed rooms were ok but abit tired, staff were ok.

Good value but staff often away from front desk when you need to speak to them. Food next door was good and we added a meal deal to our stay.

Beautiful interior, great services . Highly recommended

Excellent staff, rooms clean and close to shopping centre only 10 min walk.

Standard Premier served a purpose, would use again without any issues.

Hottel gr8 and comfy but disagree to pay £7 every 24hr..wye when you payed to yous the Hottel..

Great location. We booked for two night. Parked the car up for the weekend and got the train into London from Chafford Hundred, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Lakeside shopping centre is a 20 minute walk from the hotel, so, like us, once parked you don’t need the car till you leave. Rooms are, as always at Premier Inn more than acceptable. Clean and well presented. Staff are helpful and friendly. Although this is probably the noisiest one we’ve stayed in it’s not excessive and didn’t go on too late. I suppose this all depends on the other guests. The only noise that would be consistent is the sound of the fans from the pub/restaurant opposite, but that’s only a dull hum and can be blocked out, just try not to think about it. Parking is payable on leaving. When we stayed it was £7 for 24 hours, discount voucher from reception desk.

Premier Inn used to be good, now they seem to be losing their way in most of them that I stay in around the country.

Check-in staff are very polite and very helpful they go that extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable

Be aware of parking policy at this hotel.Have used this hotel many times on our visits to Thurrock to visit family and have never had a complaint.This time when booking room on the 17/11.2024 I also booked and paid for parking.from 14-00 hrs 21/12/24 until 10-00 hrs 22/12/24.On arrival at 14-02 I checked in at reception and presented my paper work and ask where to park was told anywhere in the car park Left Hotel following day at 07-40 0n the 6/1/25 received a parking charge of £57 from Horizon parking on behalf of premier inn.Booked and payed on line and checked in at reception for parking what more can i do CUSTOMERS BEWARE Would anyone suggest contacting BBC ONE SHOW to inform viewers what is going on with Premier Inn hotels who still show free parking parking on there website

Room won't stay warm. Have to keep putting It back on. When you do even though the heat comes from the wall unit the noisy fan in the room groans constantly. Pub next door is worse than a funeral home. No tv no music nothing on walls no ambience no beer no food and if you use the toilet the light goes off after 5 seconds so they can save money on their electric bill so you have to keep waving your hand in the air. Overall Avoid this place

Had my van broken into and there was no support from the staff. They just shrugged there shoulders and said what donyou want us to do.... Rooms are very dated and smell old and stale. The bathroom has mould and fixing are hanging off the walls. The bed looked and smelled like someone had already slept in it. The pub/restaurant next door is awful no staff and the food (that's if they have it) is very poor standard. I was ment to be stopping for 3 nights, I've know gone to the travel lodge down the road. DONT NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.UNLESS YOU WANT AN AWFUL STAY AND SERVICE.....

Location is OK- traffic can be bad around lakeside. For the hotel: The staff are fantastic (a lock broke on our room, but the night manager figured out how to fix it. He was brilliant - really helpful and kept us up to date with what was going on). The rooms are tired though - we had a little bit of mould on the corner of our room and bathroom ceiling and there was some stains in both the room & bathroom (especially the toilet seat);which was disappointing. The linen was clean though. Paying for parking was also unexpected. Brewers fayre food and service was good.

A group of 5 mature couples annual Xmas stay for Xmas, shopping at lakeside and a meal. We have stayed previously here never again. Awoke this morning to one of our cars being stolen in the night which staff watched happen. To be informed this is a recurring problem with cars being stolen??? The pub next door closed at 9.30 apparently wouldn't serve us??? Rude obnoxious staff in brewers fayre

Stayed here on Friday night and iv got to say lucy is a absolute credit to premier inn and I hope she is commended for what she does. Absolute diamond she is. Zac

Stopped here for a business trip. Nice quiet room, comfy bed as you'd expect. Personally I wouldn't order the breakfast again from Brewers Farye next door as it was very bland.

Good location. Nice rooms but VERY STUFFY with no air con ! Can't open windows wide enough to circulate the air!

Only one chair in room and no sofa bed which meant putting case on floor so not ideal to bend to get things out. We did ask for another chair so we could sit and watch TV which the chair was delivered very quickly.

No airconditioning , very ackward parking spaces , expensive PAID PARKING

Good place a great location for shopping and the docks

The hotel is basic as expected at this price. The reception and cleaning staff are very good. The Brewers Fayre Restaurant attached to the hotel has changed the opening hours. You can get nothing in the restaurant or bar after 21.00 even over the weekend. I never knew they could close the Bar before 23.00 or 22.30 over the weekend. I stayed here over the Easter weekend and the bar was packed and come 21.00 closing time there was a large agreement about the closing time. I never knew an hotel close the bar at 21.00 over the weekend. When I ask for an explanation for the weird closing hours no one could explain. I will not be staying there again until they have some respect for the paying customers.

Long term stay at the "Premier Inn, Thurrock East" all the staff have always been very responsive, proactive and excellent communicator's. Very highly recommended, shall hopefully be staying here until my work is completed in 2025. Thank you, Malcolm Langton.

Nice clean rooms. Only issue was in room 120 the fan wasn’t working and the room become a sauna for us with a window that opens a few inches. Only had one bath towel for two people. Other than that was a nice standard room at a good price for the weekend.

The best place to stay whilst I'm working away from home

Clean recently decorated room. Friendly staff. Quiet location.

Good if you’re going out late in the quay behind lakeside. We walked there from the hotel and got a short cab back. The room was clean and comfortable. It was actually cheaper than travel lodge even though it is nicer.
