Marked as 3 as room it's self was lovely but really cold and the heating didn't seem to work very well but then during the night it seemed to be boiling out of nowhere as if it had randomly kicked in. Food wise the Steak and Ale pie with chips and peas was canny that was included in the meal deal. The chocolate brownie was rotten and didn't get eaten. Breakfast was lovely and although buffet style it was hot for a change witch was great.

Largely fine but two significant negatives: 1) a complete lack of plug sockets next to the head of the bed, 2) CCTV cameras in the corridors and circulation spaces.

Staying at the Premier Inn Sheffield City Centre hotel was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel welcome and ensured our stay was comfortable. The rooms were immaculately clean, well-appointed, and provided all the modern amenities one could need. The hotel's location in the heart of the city was perfect, offering easy access to popular attractions, shopping, and dining options. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the breakfast buffet was a delightful start to the day. Overall, the Premier Inn Sheffield City Centre hotel exceeded our expectations, making it a top choice for anyone visiting the area.

You can't go wrong with Premier Inn. Great value. Great room. Comfy bed. What more could you want?

Horrible rooms. Feels like I’m in the hospital. Everything is old and ugly. Carpet is super dirty. I would not recommend anyone!!!

Upon check in, the kiosk was down as well as the computer system. One of the lifts was out of order for the whole weekend during our stay and the working one was awkward to operate. Room was okay but lots empty and wasted space where they used to keep the iconic Premier Inn chaise lounge. There were no bath but the shower was adequate despite the weird humming noise from the plumbing. WiFi was non existence but that's not unique to this location in particular. Standard more or less okay Premier Inn experience. Nice location and staff as always.

Looks a little like an American hotel room with wash basin in the room (not a problem) otherwise just like any other premier inn. I didnt eat as I was scheduled at the hospital for an operation and was fasting.

Pleasant stay at Premier Inn (St Mar’s gate), child friendly, and good service by kitchen staff (especially Tina).

Location is good, car parking available, service was great, rooms were basic at best and felt more like an old travelodge room rather than premier inn, but all was clean just dated and aged.

Great location for the city and particularly Sheffield Hallam University. The room I was in was a bit tired, broken toilet seat and light not working, not up to normal Premier Inn standard, but comfortable and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is limited.

Premier Inn standard. It’s absolutely fine and worked for what we needed it for. Stayed one night after going to a gig, location was great for both the venue and station. Would stay here again.

AVOID. Extremely thin and terrible location, passing traffic, albeit light, was extremely disruptive. Even when there was a lack cars, white noise. Central heating was very distruptive, when turned on. Couldn't imagine sleeping with it on. Hotel was fully booked, had to leave in the middle of the night. Seen reviews saying rooms where dirty, from my experience they were clean. If you wish to stay, don't consider unless you bring earplugs, but even then i wouldn't advise it as I doubt they would do anything. I would not stay at this hotel even if it was free. There are better hotels in Sheffield at the rate of premier inn. Don't bother thinking you can get a refund even if you don't even stay the night, premier inn refuses to give a refund. What an outrageous - joke of a - hotel chain.

Stayed here for one night. Within easy walking distance to the train station. Close to the main tramline too. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Checking in was really quick and staff pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good and had plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Hotel was lovely and clean staff very friendly and is in a great location near the shopping centre however breakfast was very disappointing, very little cooked breakfast options and hardly any veggie options (only eggs) maybe had to ask but not told or any signs about this, the restaurant area is quite claustrophobic, the basin was in the bedroom and not the bathroom which I wasn’t over keen on and we wasn’t told about the car park being underground initially and waited 20 minutes for someone to then let us in, no one advised us about needing to use your card pass for the lift, don’t think any of it was intentional but it was like there was an assumption we had visited before, we were on the 6th floor but could hear everything from the street throughout the night which meant little sleep.
