Great pub and will definitely be going here again if we play them again, owner and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming and they also put chilli and nachos on for us which they certainly didn't have to. Highly recommend for any away fans visiting Hillsborough and Sheffield Wednesday when they are down here

Did a lunch after our Sunday hike, had the carvery for around 11 quid, extremely friendly and helpful staff with great food, will definitely be back

Just been in with my next door neighbours to watch the Owls playoff. Beer was excellent and the landlord brought out a free Chilli & Nachos at halftime. Thanks. Much appreciated.

What a transformation since Liz and Ian have taken over. The pub looks really welcoming outside (especially so at night) and the inside is just as nice, with it being clean and well decorated. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the bar is very well stocked. The new decking area outside is really well made and looks so cosy at night. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Present management just recently taken over, have totally revamped, cleaned and updated beers and ales.Well worth a visit Been again this weekend, busy little pub and great atmosphere. Just been in for fishing meeting and they put beef sandwiches and roast potatoes on with some pulled pork 😋 awesome 👌

Good local pub with a nice atmosphere. The staff and owners are very friendly and there is a good atmosphere. The pub has a good mixture of age groups and there're decent prices at the bar.. The car park is located at the side.of the premises. Inside there is a main room a best room and a pool room. Football is frequently played on the televisions.

I have not been here for more than 5 years,unfortunately. I visited yesterday,only because my local, the Rose and Crown has been closed until further notice. I found the pub to be extremely friendly, with very helpful and friendly bar staff who made me feel welcomed, despite the fact that they had not seen me previously. The pub was well presented, clean and tidy, and also had outside seating in an enclosed grasses area, very safe for kids, and also additional bench seating adjacent to the parking area, an area that catches the sun till late evening. Pool and darts are also available, together with a lovely "saloon" bar area. Definitely worth a visit!
