Stayed here before an Al,heifers Trek. Service in "Restaurant " was abysmal. Main house took 15 mins to arrive. Dessert never arrived so I left after 20 minutes waiting. No urgency to serve ordered food. Two young waiting staff did their best but the lack of supervision was evident. Went to a near by M&S food store to get a Dessert. Poor service. Best to avoid the Restaurant.

Well looked after by Vicky in the Social Restaurant. Decent well priced meal after a long days cycling on the South Downs Way. Comfortable bed and clean room. Can’t complain.

Disapointing that I couldn't eat when I wanted to, and wasn't told I should book in advance.

The food was absolutely bad Completely overpriced They were children's portions Since there is nothing nearby within walking distance, you have to eat there Breakfast was at least as bad It was just a cook who wasn't unorganized and completely overwhelmed

They must inform you more about the car parking and put in your registration in at check-in. Lovely and clean would stop again.

Absolutely appalling. We stayed at this premier inn for a night before my wedding. We arrived to be told there were no lifts in the building, which having luggage, was ridiculous. We eventually get to the room number 1. There were stains on the bedding, no duvets or pillows. I went down to reception to explain this - we received some clean ones from housekeeping. I then went to the second room, which was across the car park, I had to go up 2 flights of stairs with luggage - again no lift. The put the key in the holder to activate the electricity. I waited 10 minutes in darkness, the lights would turn on and immediately go off. This happened multiple times. I went down to reception to explain this issue, with all my luggage as they instructed. The women who was running the shift, was incredibly rude and condescending, telling me everything was fine, didn’t even look at me while conveying this incorrect information. I proceeded to go back up to the room, after 10 minutes I had to go back down, to be told again everything’s fine, they sent me up with 2 members of staff this time, so I could prove it was broken. They then saw the issue and the electric key holder even fell off the wall - huge safety risk. Another key was eventually produced for me. I then asked to complain about the manager on the shift and was handed a card. They moved me into a new room, next to my original room. This is around 9pm after hours of issues. I attempted to take a shower and the hot water was broken. This was meant to be the evening before my wedding which caused deep stress. Avoid this hotel!

I’ve stayed here multiple times over the last couple of years due to visiting family. I usually enjoy staying here but the 2 night stay we have had has been awful. There is 3 Truronian coaches right behind our room which have woken us and the child up both nights, and when I went to complain about it the worker was very rude towards me about it. They have a good night sleep guarantee and I obviously haven’t had a good night sleep, went to ask why there was coaches running that early as it’s not fair that were up this early and got a “nothing I can do, do you want me to take their keys? Tell them they can’t go to work?”… there’s a whole car park next to the CLOSED pub they could have parked in.

Can't fault it! Friendly receptionist, clean, quiet and comfortable room (we were in the annexe). Buffet style breakfast with plenty of options running from 6:30am, and checkout at 12, all brill!

Always a good nights sleep, but this time we thought we'd have a more accessable room, but found the bed too low & my husband couldn't get out of it! I think they need to have adjustable beds for the disabled as not everyone uses a wheel chair.

IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT BOOKING - DONT. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED - CANCEL. Just awful! Everything, please please please don’t come here. When we arrived I jokingly described it as Fawlty Towers and then the joke quickly wore thin. If you absolutely have to stay here DO NOT USE THE BAR/RESTAURANT. Nobody knows what they are doing, food is awful, service is the worst I have ever experienced.

The only reason we gave a 5 start rating was because of Francis the bar manager, he made me and my wife feel like we were old friends having a good catch up. His personality, presence were amazing, always chatting to us when he had the time and making sure we were ok. He made the evening for us , brilliant guy. Andy at reception was great to, helped us deal with a little issue and resolved it. All the staff were helpful but Andy and Francis stood out the most and we would like a massive thank you to them both for making our stay enjoyable. The only negative thing we had was when we arrived we could have been informed of self check in.

Avoid at all costs. No food no bar no pre warning of this. Rooms absolutely filthy and a staggering 25 degrees. Will be interesting to see how management resolves these issues.

A brilliant Premier Inn. Staff were helpful & kind when we checked in. The room was clean and well kept, simple yet modern. All we needed. Parking is good and free. We had the breakfast included - brilliant buffet style breakfast with a large variety of foods. The pain au chocolates were delicious! Only downfall is that the hotel isn’t within walking distance to anything.

We always choose Premier Inn because you can guarantee a good experience. Unfortunately it's gone downhill since our last two visits. The room had a damp smell, like wet clothes that hadn't dried properly. The window was open so we put the room fan and bathroom fan on to try and get rid of the smell. Still a lovely meal would sort things out. Er, no. The restaurant had closed and there was a bar only. No restaurant was within walking distance of the hotel. Hadn't been told this when we booked and the website still had the menu for the restaurant. Ended up driving through busy traffic to Waitrose to grab some food to go and eat it in our room. Well done Premier Inn. Will not be staying at any Premier Inn ever again. I don't blame the staff, it is all down to mismanagement by Premier Inn / Whitbread management.

This hotel is possibly the worst I have stayed at within the Premier chain, the check in is slow when normally it is very quick. The rooms are fine as normal, nice, and clean, comfortable beds, but my biggest issue is do not book the meal deal as restaurant is not open and if you pre book then it takes several days too get returned thats if you can get an answer from the staff really poor show

Avoid at all costs — Never been to such a disgusting hotel ever-- upon arrival I was spoken to so rudely by the receptionist and told to wait (after she held out her hand at me after I asked how much longer I had to wait when I had already waited 1 hour further my accessible room I booked) we ended up waiting over 1.5 hrs just to get our room. THEN the room was awful, toilet didn’t work. Missing bedside light(wires hanging out the wall) faulty light in bathroom and shower flooded and water ran out into the room — after complaining we finally got told next morning that rooms next door had blocked pipes etc so obviously that was always going to flood our room —— asking to speak to the manager I was also told that if the manager came to see me that she would have to drive several hours do it and that would happen as she doesn’t live near by —- absolutely terrible place —avoid this place at all costs

Absolutely disgusted that we was not informed on booking that the restaurant was closed therefore no food in the evening or for breakfast. Surely this is a main requirement for anyone booking a room. No reduction in price and we use premier inn very often. Will be looking elsewhere from now on. 0 out of 10. Fuming

After checking in we were advised that the restaurant/pub would be open at 4pm, then 5pm....oh and no food available tonight or in the morning!! Why was this not mentioned during booking? We have a business account with prem and use them regularly....this is very unprofessional!!!!

It's decent enough. Rooms could do with a bit more cleaning (cobwebs, rust, windows) and the outside needs some paint, but the bed was comfortable, it was warm and the staff were nice. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Location was nice, quiet but close enough to where I needed to get too.

I was greeted by a really exceptional member of staff. She made me feel as if I was the only person in the world who mattered to her at that moment - that's quite a skill, especially when it comes over as completely natural. The room was the usual - four stars as I'd only give a recently refurbished room five stars. Parking was good.

Great service, just a little bit too far out of the city than I would have hoped for. Would stay again though. Although would not recommend using the on site restaurant (Hampton inn)

Room was a really good size and good standard of cleanliness. If I had to nitpick there were one or two cobwebs but that was it. Had a good sleep and would go again if in the area again. Salisbury not really accessible by foot but the hotel is really close to several park and ride buses which go there on a regular basis . Staff helpful and friendly.

The staff really seem to need better training. I asked a basic question, and the first person I approached didn’t know the answer and just told me to find someone else. I asked another staff member the same question, and again, they had no idea. No one was helpful. On top of that, the staff at the tills move extremely slow — even when it’s very busy. I’m not sure what kind of hiring or training practices are in place, but the store feels chaotic and poorly managed, especially during peak hours.

Solid food and drink and not too expensive given you're a captive market. Good chips and decent portions for the kids meals. Plenty of seating and service is really quick even though it was very busy. Also clean and tidy with good facilities and plenty of staff to keep tables turning over during busy periods. You can't fault Longleat for skimping on staff that's for sure.
