Premier Inn Pontypool hotel in Torfaen

The hotel was as expected. The rooms well equipped and the breakfast was above average in my opinion. One very satisfied customer 👍. Reason for 4 out of 5 stars? It would have to be extraordinary for me to give 5 stars 🌟

I had a nice little stay in this Premier Inn. Handy location on a main road, free parking and not too big. The hotel is a little different to alot of Premier Inns I’ve stayed in as they don’t have a bar, which is a shame as you’re forced to use the unrelated expensive and busy Harvester next door. They do have a small breakfast room though which was lovely. The breakfast is a little different too as it is table service where they take your order rather than buffet. This means it does take a little longer to come but it was really fresh which was nice. The stand out for me was the lovely staff, really friendly.

Clean comfy but watch the all you can eat breakfast they order from you and ask how many sausages bacon etc ITS NOT COOKED LIKE A BUFFET STYLE. So don't ask for 245 beans and 17 fried eggs as it won't happen.

Our host at breakfast Rhi was very welcoming and Alison cooked a lovely breakfast with a smile. The receptionists couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful.

Stayed here once before, came back yesterday and wasn't disappointed. The receptionist was really lovely, friendly, welcoming, room was lovely and clean, everything you need, cooked breakfast was amazing, Rhi was serving and taking orders, lovely lady, welcoming, friendly, chatty, highly recommend this place 10☆

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner over the weekend for the Comic Con. Was amazing. The room was immaculate. The employees were fantastic and was just an overall amazing experience!

Good location for looking around the area with a harvester next door and fuel station across the road.

Handy place to stay, comfy beds, friendly staff at a good price. Exits onto a very busy roundabout.

Absolutely love this premier Inn the staff and food are brilliant but the bed was to high

Standard Premier Inn offering: good value, although I feel I got better value elsewhere for the third night as prices rise dramatically on weekdays. Given most guests seem to have large vans, a rethink of car park spaces is needed outside. Difficult to fault and is the first chain I check for when travelling. Friendly smiling staff although two non-working lights reported on the first evening were never fixed.

Lovely location breakfast cooked to perfection

Clean, tidy and comfortable room. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the continental selection was plentiful. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, plenty of parking. They were very helpful and moved me with no fuss when I had a loud snorer next door.
