So, I have stayed here and many Premier Inns previously. My room was perhaps not quite as good as last time - of course they all look similar. Having travelled 5 hours from Wales we (Dad, Twin brother) were cream crackered - so we were a bit disappointed we had to wait for 20 mins in reception whilst check in started (a bit rigid). Yes, we could have paid a bit more for an early check in. Anyway, we spent early check in on a coffee instead. For us the location was great - we were visiting our departed brother and the cemetery was only a few minutes by car. God bless you Simon ❤️🩹

Just returned from a weekend at the Holystone premier inn. I was met by friendly and helpful staff that greeted us and directed us to our room. The room was clean, tidy and well aired. The bed was amazing best sleep I've had in ages. That mattress could be on Santa's list this year. The restaurant across the way had nice food. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful but unfortunately from the minute we went in at night felt there was an uncomfortable atmosphere, maybe just us. As I said couldn't fault the food just the service at night was a bit slow. Over all had a good weekend and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Because we had a breakdown during our tour with the camper, we had to look for an overnight stay at the last minute. We ended up at PremierInn. Overnight stay was absolutely fine. The review is mainly for the service. Because we no longer had a camper and no luggage, we were forced to rent a car. But how do you get to the rental company? A more than friendly employee offered to take us. We were very happy with his help! We don't remember the gentleman's name, but he took us safely to the rental company in his own bright orange car. This service means that we look back on our stay in the hotel with a good feeling. The restaurant at the hotel was also a very nice base for us those days...

A well appointed and clean hotel. The bed was excellent and the staff very friendly. Very unfortunate that the wash basin was too small to have a shave in.

Over priced for a basic room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, sadly that was the only positive thing about this place. Asked if we could check in 30 mins early, sadly even though rooms were ready Premier charge extra for this to happen. Would avoid this place at all costs!!!

My room has not been cleaned for 4 days. Dirty bed. Wet towels etc. 2 different nights I had to stand in the car park due to fire alarms. Middle of the night. No communications or visible warden. The non cleaning of my room even though I am staying for 2 weeks is unsanitary and unhygienic. Been in better accomodations with a better attitude on my work journeys overseas in multiple countries. Disgusted.

Just off the A19 Northbound. Not far from the Silverlink roundabout and about 5-10 mins from the Tyne Tunnel depending on traffic.

Stayed in this hotel because the location was good. Pricier than some of the other options in the area. Had most of the amenities you'd expect from a premier inn but no air conditioning and a poor radiator. Main red flag is the extremely poor phone signal; from other reviews I can see others had the same issue. I'm on 5G EE and yet I didn't have a single bar. Hotel WiFi was extremely slow but this is par for the course with Premier inn. Wouldn't stay here again with there being superior options elsewhere.
