Popped in for a breakfast with my mother in law and 3 kids. All you can eat for all of us was only £21.98! And the food was lovely the kids loved it! Also free parking!

Stayed here for 2 nights for work and the hotel has been exceptional. A premier inn never disappoints but it’s the staff here that really shine. They can’t do enough for you and from the minute you check in, they do everything they can to make your stay an enjoyable one. A big shout out to Casey who has been brilliant from start to finish and makes you feel incredibly welcome. She truly makes you feel valued and provides a personal touch to everything. Please pass on a huge thank you to her for going above and beyond.

Wifi is super slow. If you want workable WiFi, pay extra. The air con is loud enough to make sure you can’t sleep. So you choose sleep with it off or not sleep. By the way it will be automatic on in the morning at 6ish. Don’t know why maybe just to say good morning:(.

My family and I called in for breakfast on the way to a trip out. The breakfast was very good and great value for money, unfortunately on my return home I was greeted with a lovely letter from an private parking firm who have given me a £54 fine for parking, my step mum is disabled so we parked in the disabled spot outside the hotel but I wasn’t made aware that there was a parking charge nor was there any sign posts stating such. I have now tried 8 times to call the hotel to ask them about this and not once have I had an answer. Great place for breakfast but terrible for communication.

My girlfriend and I popped into the Premier Inn Melton for a cooked breakfast on the way to Lincolnshire, and we had relatively low expectations of a corporate business with thoroughly average past experiences at other Premier inns……We set the bar pretty low! However (!!) we were astounded at how friendly professional and accommodating the fabulous staff were- it was fairly tight on their closing time when we arrived, and they could have turned us away. Not only that, the cooked breakfast wasn’t a lukewarm warm tasteless buffet (like most Premier Inns) it was cooked to perfection to order and was absolutely brilliant. Tasty, piping hot, not greasy, and served quickly with absolute professionalism and courtesy. Nothing was too much trouble. How absolutely refreshing?! Truly brilliant and making the local alternatives looking expensive or corporately inadequate. Well done Premier Inn Melton; you were superb and we will be back. Regularly.

Good hotel, but ask for clean towels every time. Staff friendly, rooms clean. The only disadvantage I think is that the shower is in the bathtub, plenty of hot water.

Went for a premier inn breakfast without being a guest. The team of Nicola, Matt and Rhianne were brilliant. Food tasted lovely and reception was spotless. Credit to the team. Will be returning again soon.

A very comfortable place to stay as a family of 4. The staff were so helpful and very friendly. The accommodation was within easy walking distance to the train station and bus stops, allowing for stress-free travel. The family room was very spacious and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the shower hot and a good pressure. The breakfast offered a wide variety of nutritious options. The hot food was cooked to order and was always hot and fresh. We would definitely recommend The Premium Inn Melton Mowbray.

I have recently visited to enquire about the hotel. I have paid for the car park. However, for some reason I have received a penalty from horizon. I wrote to primer Inn with evidence of payment. They have been so helpful.Nichola was very prompt and supportive. The parking charge was cancelled with no fuss. Nichola is so great and helpful. I will look forward for my next booking with premier t.

Bit of a dump to be honest. Room smelt damp which isn't surprising given that the window is sealed. No heating in the shower room not even a towel rail so towel stays damp as the heating goes off during day when you leave room. This is a company that micro manages it costs (which is ok in principle ) but to the extent that it is running down the quality of the building and customer experience; the staff must smell the damp and see the mould every single day ..... Can I add that having to pay for WiFi (free service is useless) and turning the heating off in the room at 08:00 when I’m still in the room is a little irritating.

Room was clean and tidy, bed very uncomfortable! Staff very rude and food was appalling! Very small selection and everything is heated in microwave! Mash potato had more texture than breakfast! Car park is really small but seems good security with lots of cameras, pain to find though! Hotel is on the main road, reception do day if no spaces left in car park you can park around front in disabled bays (4 of them!) Would i ever stay here again - i would rather sleep on the pavement outside!

Hotel and staff are great. Breakfast was great better than most premier inns. The only thing that brings it down is the parking. Car park is difficult to find despite reception giving you a map. Also once I had found it, it was full so had to find street parking.

The staff here are superb, especially Jackie the chef. She's the friendliest most accommodating of people and cooks a wonderful breakfast. We go here for breakfast once a week, brilliant apart from one tiny thing. They should have tinned tomatoes on the menu. That's down to head office though and not the local staff.

Great location, just a short walk to all that Melton Mowbray has to offer! Just around the corner to the market and town centre! The room was a standard Premier Inn room. The room was very clean as always, but we did find a hole in the bedding. This should have been spotted by the staff. We also only had one set of towels. We only found this out the next morning, so we had to share! These were only small things, so we will defo use this Primier Inn again.

We stopped overnight to split our journey. The car park is at the back of the hotel, it would have been easier to find if there were more signs guiding guests, we weren't the only ones who went the wrong way. However, the staff were all lovely and the room was very clean. We had the evening meal and breakfast. The evening menu was very small but we had a lovely meal. Breakfast was also good quality. It was piping hot and very enjoyable. We always have a lovely stay at the Premiere Inns, however, this is definitely one of our most favourite stays. We will be back. Thank you.

Staying for a friends wedding. Arrived at 14.52 so all of 8 minutes before check-in opens. Rudely told check in opens at 15.00 and then had her back turned on us, so we just stood there..... For or five other couples arrived, all ignored by same woman as she sat in a little side room. Few more guests arrived before she finally deigned to grace reception with her presence. "Name?" No welcome to the Premier Inn, no hello just name. Gave name, room number, sign here. And that was it........ Location excellent for our purposes and room was standard. Service - non existent.

We had a great weekend here. Staff were lovely, especially Jackie who was great on the morning of our arrival. She kept the breakfast open a few extra minutes extra for our friends who were running late. All the staff were great, so helpful and friendly. The room was a reasonable size, and the air conditioning worked well (although I prefer a window!). There were a couple of things which could have been better. Firstly, was the dirty toilet in the reception area. We reported it to a staff member mid afternoon and it was still dirty when we went to dinner at 7.30. Secondly, we opted for the meal deal. We've done this many times before and always had a good meal but hadn't realised we must have stayed at a Premier Inns using pubs to provide it's food. The evening meal was cooked in-house. The choice was poor, macaroni cheese, pasta and bolognaise or fish and chips. Whilst they tasted fine the portions were small and there were no accompniments like garlic bread or side salad. Desserts were also limited to ice cream or brownie. Breakfast was very good however, with a really good choice of fruit, toast, cereals etc. The full English was cooked to order. The location is great with the town less than 5 mins walk away.

This Inn is more than premier. We’re talking Champions League level. Rhian showed us the menu and the rest is history. Cody cooked my pizza and goodness me, it was hot. No food poisoning for me (that's always a bonus). Joking aside, the service was beyond anything I could expect. I just hope I sleep as well as they approach customer service x

Firstly, I must say the staff that I met were wonderful. Polite and helpful. Now for the bad bit. Finding the car park is a nightmare especially if you are a single guest. It is behind the hotel and you have to walk down steps to get to the front. My room smelt of stinking feet! The heating and air con weren’t working at all. The window was sealed shut! The fan in bathroom wasn’t working either. No nice finish to the bed. It usually has a mauve strip of material on it The restaurant was terrible. Where did they find that menu. I ordered Mac cheese. It was heated in a microwave and chucked in a bowl. No trimmings , no garlic bread nothing! Not good. Dessert was fruit salad, which contained apple, grapes and oranges, but mainly apple! I asked for a scoop of ice cream to be served with it and the waitress said she would ask if that was possible! I usually love staying in a P. I. As a single woman I always feel safe and looked after. What has gone wrong? I would love to hear a reply.

Illogically, the hotel car park isn't as the picture is shown but in an industrial park round the back of the hotel. I recommend going to the reception at the front and requesting the small map that they have prepared for the many of us that have got lost while trying to follow the many road signs. The cooked breakfast on request is even better than the usual Premier inn arrangement. The shower is rather unpredictable though. Unfortunately & inconveniently, there are no USB charging sockets in the room.

I recently ordered from this pizza place, and I must say, the food was absolutely incredible! We got pizza, spicy wings and nuggets, and they were piping hot and bursting with flavour. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

Came in as a party of 3 and the restaurant was full. We had literally just stepped foot inside and before we could say anything a male member of staff barked at us telling us there were no free tables at the moment and stormed off. He didn’t ask us if we would like to wait for a table (which we would have been happy to do) nor did he tell us how long the wait for a table would be. Acted like we were bothering him. It doesn’t matter how busy it is or how bad your shift is, you don’t take it out on customers and talk to people like that.

Ordered two chicken tikka masalas and a portion of onion bhajis. £21.20. Curries were watery and lacking flavour. Neither of the curries contain chicken tikka. Just plain, unseasoned chicken breast with no char. Bhajis were soggy. Disappointing and expensive. Staff were friendly on collection.
