Great stop, rooms clean, quiet and comfortable Dining room and breakfast top notch. Freshly cooked breakfasts and plenty of choice. ONLY ONE BLACK MARK THE DREADFUL XMAS TREE!!! what a shocking mess, it's only just October and an awful, cheap, nasty, Charity shop reject of a Christmas tree. So wrong on many many points. If you can afford a decent one don't bother. It really does bring standards down to rock bottom.

Unfortunately to begin with, I won’t be ever returning… So arrived at approx 12pm 2nd sept with my daughter to be met with the receptionist who I can only describe as having a ‘dogs manner’ I knew check in was at 3pm but we only wanted to leave our bags. There was no hellos or hi’s but some sort of ‘grunt’ about not checking in till 3pm. She Preceded to take our bag like we were unwelcomed guests. ( didn’t catch her name ) but definitely needs some kinda training on people skills. Came back after 3pm to be meet by another receptionist called Mya. Such a breathe of fresh air.. Advised by the disgruntled receptionist that no bar/restaurant was opened for the foreseeable, no vending machine working and watched how she dealt with another group leaving the hotel which was awful. Had the same receptionist there when leaving and no goodbyes, nothing that was 12pm on 4th sept. Rooms were very clean and the cleaner was so nice and friendly. They do a brilliant job by the looks of things. No fridge in room, WiFi is very poor, ( you can upgrade £5 for 24 hours) Windows are all locked. Homeless people sleeping outside too which can be intimidating. I knew it was a budget hotel but felt like I was sleeping in the sad receptionist spare room and not wanted….

Hotel or the rooms are comfortable and provide a person with enough comfort for rest. Personally, I missed the refrigerator as part of the amenities and the glass wall of the shower did not catch much water, but I was still satisfied with the given standard. The staff is nice, helpful and will provide you with a lot of information about the city. The hotel is generally well located in the city center and close to public transport stops. If you came to the city for hiking, watching football, visiting stadiums or museums, this is an ideal choice. You can also keep your luggage at the reception before check-in.

Visited for Sunday lunch at 1pm. Was told there was no roast potatoes or Yorkshire puddings. We were disappointed. Didnt expect at 1pm they would have run out of Yorkshire's and roast potatoes.

First time staying in Premier Inn and was pleased with stay. Excellent location to central shopping and just by St Peter's Square tram stop. Room had everything needed with great shower. Breakfast was outstanding and as much as you wanted, had dinner meal deal before 6 pm and the price can't be beaten food was tasty. If in Manchester again would not hesitate to stay.

I found this a very pleasant and convenient stay at this hotel. I used it as a base for my participation in the 2024 Great Manchester Run. Within walking distance to the start.

If you want to goto sleep my suggestion is find somewhere else. The trams run right under the windows from 5am ish till 1am Premier inn are auppsoed to offer a sleep guarantee but when I went to check out after only 3hrs sleep I was told... "Nahhh mate that hasn't happened since before covid" even though they have a massive sign on reception in neon lights. I was told to fill in the questionnaire that will come via email. When I got to the hotel, I had to self check in, the staff right infront of me said so. I got to the floor o ly for the key not to work. I went back down and then proceeded to have another 4 keys before one actually worked Did I complain in the night.... NO. Why..... Because moving my complete room to another room in the middle of the night to possibly have the same issue doesn't wash. I mentioned I was a light sleeper and could I have a quiet room.

Very very good place to stay. Good food and exeptional service from Dagma. Later i have find out that she is a manager of this place. She treated me very very well. She has treated me and her employes as best as possible. Very right place for her, a lot of hotel managers should lern from her. She made me feel upright like a family, not just like a visitor. Definatly going back there

Me and my mum had a lovely stay at Premier inn central, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of non-alcoholic fizzy drink, chocolates and a card for my birthday in my room after coming back for the day. We had a lovely chat with reception staff (Kayleigh and gentleman with blonde hair and glasses (apologies didn’t get your name!)) the male staff member was so good at advising food spots near by and both staff members were ever so pleasant and friendly! Thank you! :)

Popped in for a couple of drinks before going home after going to see paloma Faith at Bridgewater Hall Theatre . Service at the bar was good, location bit out the way in a quiet area. But all attractions & shops and theatre are within walking distance

This location is amazing BUT the Trams outside are noisy and you will hear them as you settle down to sleep. It could definitely do with an overhaul as the deco looks tired. That said the staff were amazing 👏

I had a lovely one night stay at the Premier Inn. The staff were very helpful, super welcoming and accommodating. Upon arriving, they saw I was struggling with my bags so offered to help me carry them up the stairs. They also allowed me to borrow an iPhone charger for the night as I forgot mine. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I’m really satisfied with this great service and would gladly come to this premier inn again.

Ancoats restaurant now closed, unfortunately, as we found out when following Google Maps! Rang to book a table not realising I was speaking to their place in Altrincham. I'm sure it would have been very nice...

Always friendly and helpful staff. Great coming up from Cornwall for the weekend and able to pick up much needed ethnic groceries
