Premier Inn Livingston (Bathgate) hotel in West Lothian

Excellent value, really good breakfast, staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

Well maintained, clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The reception desk was being upgraded during our stay but the staff did everything to ensure that there were no hazards for their guests.

Just off jct 4 on the M8, easy to find. Great comfy beds, clean towels and chunky pillows, what more could you ask for??

I stayed in room 215 (Premier Plus), which was nice but not as good with the layout of the room as other Premier Inn's I've stayed at. There is no desk for work purposes. However, it has all the usual amenities like a fridge and complementary water and a Nespresso machine. TV remote is worn and not very responsive. My biggest moan about this place is that it doesn't have a restaurant, which means if you have subsistence from work, it is useless. There is a Toby Carvery next door, but from previous experience, I stay well away from it. Beds are comfortable and had a good night's sleep for the three nights I was there.

Have stayed here many times. This trip was yet again a good experience. Staff were helpful at check-in. Room was comfortable, with really good shower. Breakfast is help yourself with good options. Pity there's no square sausage, or haggis. Lady in breakfast service was very friendly and helpful. Many thanks.

Exactly what you expect of a Premier Inn. Value for money paid for a night's sleep. Comfy bed, decent room, good shower. Enjoyed the hot breakfast that's cooked to order. The floorboards are pretty creaky in the hallways, so people walking about can be noisy. It didn't bother me as a heavy sleeper but it may be an issue for some people.

Was here last week family wedding at vue, great hotel, good value. Staff where very helpful. Had breakfast the two nights we stayed. Only negative was my bathroom didn't have a great smell. Bed comfortable.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as i was visiting some friends. The hotel is next to a toby carvery so if you need food or a drink can just pop over but your not to far from local shops etc. The day team are welcoming and friendly and happy to help as i had a slight problem when checking in as the card was not working but they soon got that sorted. Even when i asked for a iron and a ironing board they were happy to assist with that. The lady with the blond hair tied up in a ponytail ( never got her name ) asked how my night sleep was, how my visit been etc. defo a 10 out of 10 I am norm a air b&b person but when i come back up here this will be my hotel of choice.

I was at a local wedding and kept smelling excrement. Little did I know, once I got my room that evening, did I realise that every person who stayed here the night before, had been tainted with the smell of raw sewage. Rancid.

It's a fairly modern Premier Inn and looks to have been refurbished more recently. Rooms are good, if marginally smaller than I remember. Staff here were friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is a dreary looking specimen located off a busy road a good 40 minutes walk from town/restaurants. The Toby Carvery next door is currently under renovation but not sure how long that's going to take as it currently looks like a squatters den. The rooms are clean and spacious, the staff pleasant, the breakfast pretty tasty. Sad to have no proper reception of lounge facility which means the place is devoid of atmosphere. Functional but soulless.

Room was top notch compared to other premier inns - hotel has been recently been refurbished and done up to a good standard. Breakfast was as usual for a Premier Inn. No green chilli in the beans so I will remove 1 point but all in all, would recommend !

David On Reception was helpful when we arrived, and went out of is way when we where leaving.

I stayed here for one night in a family room with my two sons before The Eras Tour. Check-in went smoothly and the room was spotless with everything you'd need. The kitchen staff in the morning of 7th June were so lovely and gave my boys sweets for the evening. They said it was the "nicest hotel they'd ever been to". Thank you so much ❤️

Good for what you get, but the rooms are dated, and the pedestrian access to wider bathgate is very poor

Ye all good rooms clean staff friendly just didn't realise breakfast finished at 11 am we were just a little bit after but they did accommodate us, so thank you for that, beds & pillows comfy

Great night's sleep to be had here, very quiet location.

Stayed at the premier inn Bathgate for a night. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. Had a good selection for breakfast.

My room was easy access and my Daughter was in the adjoining room . Breakfast was a disappointment food had been on service a bit dry.
