When I order starters and main with my partner I expect get the starters in the same time of my partner and once we finish then we are expecting the main dish. Drinks offered, We enjoy them and then my girlfriend get the starter and main together, I am waiting and waiting, after a while I get the main, and wait long for the starter. Love food and atmosphere, team friendly and helpful but service was a total chaos.

The manageress took time to sit down with me to help me choose something. It was amazing service. The food is good quality and there is enough of it..I'm more a plane food sort of guy However the chicken and prawn noodles were excellent. 10 out of 10 for the service and friendly manager.

With chains, you know what you are getting so it’s no surprise that the food was great. What really stood out was the accessibility the brand has in place and one waitress in particular. She noticed my nose was 1” from the menu & let me know there was a large print version and would I like it. She even opened it at the section to benefit me as it also has brail. This demonstrated good observational skills, the offer of equity rather than telling me what I needed & a knowledge of what the company offered. We were checked on a few times, a wee bit banter but otherwise left to enjoy our piping hot food. Layout is spacious & wheelchair accessible with various heights of tables. Toilets are mixed gender but all Individual with their own sinks. Didn’t catch the waitresses name, dark hair & atm tattoo. She is what made the visit. Food-Tokyo breakfast cocktail -fresh, delicious. Pork pho & beef rice bowl. Savory broth, plentiful noodles, veg, & genius pork. Slightly spicy tic salad, perfectly cooked. Octopus balls are always a winner & new fried rice squares with avocado & mushrooms. Lovely but the mushrooms are crispy. Personal preference is that it was too much crunch and sautéed would add more varied texture.

The art of making people feel wonderful is quite a gift. It is a combination of many things, compassion, understanding and a zest for life to name but a few. I had brought my little girls to Livingston for a treat and we found our way meandering to Waga Mamas. Becca the waitress brought a vibe to the table that lit my girls eyes up. Listening to her conversing to two twelve year old girls as if she had known them for forever was incredible. I find it hard to put what I’m thinking in writing but I can only try. My girls left Waga Mamas with a big smile on their faces because Becca had gone more than the extra mile to effortlessly make them feel special. She treated them like young ladies who were dining at the Ritz and made me feel so proud of the way they instantly warmed to her. Becca’s parents deserve a shout out too and I hope they get to see this. We all want our children to be the best they can. We invest the most important thing we can which is time into them. You both have done well with your daughter. Thank you Waga Mama for hiring amazing teams, giving young people the space to shine and providing amazing food too. A delighted customer that got much more than he paid for.

Disappointed tonight noodle dish both ours was very dry and stodgy which is not like waggas, plus the dumplings with beef brisket I think and Kim chee where was the Kim chee, we seen none and tasted none and the it's getting pricey.

Table 341 - 9th Feb 6PM - pathetic service. Sending out cold food. Ordered tofu firecracker. Food was cold to touch, maybe a long wait before getting served to me. Veggies were burnt, and dry. Asked for extra firecracker sauce. And I eventually finished the food, but sauce never turned up. Fix your crew! Ask them to focus on serving the customers rather than just being present to clock the hours for pay! You can rather sit in front of a supermarket with a coffee cup, and make that money instead of serving cold food to customers at a big food chain.

When in for dinner last night. Food was amazing and our server Erin was always smiling and very helpful.

We are here as a family of 3. I have a few food intolerances and the waiter asked his manager to come over and take my order, waww! This lady was first class, she recommended a dish and arranged for it to be specially prepared. Never had personal service like it before! A true credit to Wagamama, thanks 🙏

Food took a while to arrive, was 4 of us so not massive group and place was quieter than normal. 3 mains came out then I was asked what my order was, then the starters came out. Not impressed with the very small amount of noodles in my dish. Bang bang cauliflower was not as fiery as other wagamama restaurants not alot of fried greens either.

Absolutely fantastic! Staff were amazing and extremely polite I asked for a recommendation and was not let down by the hot honey fried chicken 😋 Absolutely delicious!!

I recently visited the Wagamama branch in Livingston and had the pleasure of being served by Becka. Her exceptional service truly stood out. Becka was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was perfect. She was attentive to details and made excellent recommendations from the menu. Her warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home.

Great restaurant with a lovely selection of food. My granddaughter loves it here! Only complaint is that the starters are very expensive for what they are and it can get very crowdy during certain hours.

Really good experience here today..Becka is a lovely server and is a real asset to the place. Shes is a very friendly person who went out of her way to make myself and my daugher feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Came to Wagamama for my 30th birthday lunch and had the best meal. The vegan fried chicken in teriyaki sauce was amazing! And the vegan coconut kare and Vegatsu were both delicious as well. Our server was attentive, friendly and we had great seats under a heater which was appreciated on a cold and miserable day. 10/10 and well worth the money! Can’t wait to come back

1st time in Scotland and had the best experience with the staff especially mairi.

I have been here a lot of times and I have never had a bad experience. I come a lot with a friend who has celiac disease - she says she gets the best care from staff here than anywhere else. The manager always comes and takes the order and is very well informed about the choices containing gluten. The food is delicious, although I have noticed the prices hiking up over the years but this is the same across all wagamama restaurants. Highly recommend coming here!

The food was awesome as always. Cooked fresh, always to a high standard. The servers are fast and efficient, Vegan and gluten free options are some of the best. The new menu is great, some of the desserts are absolutely top.

I came in with my husband and mother for lunch. It was a great time, good fun, great service and I will be back again for lunch.

The GM of this branch is exceptional, we visited on a night that systems were down and the restaurant was clearly having some issues but the GM’s calmness and attention to detail made us overlook the slightly longer wait times. This was a night where our experience could have been really poor due to issues outwith staff control but due to the way the GM handled it we will definitely return.

Had a table booked for a birthday. We arrived for 6pm. There were 5 of us there. 1 person got their food. Waited another 5 minutes and someone else received their smoothie. Another 10 minutes someone else received her meal and then two more meals eventually came out. Everyone had finished their meals and I was sat there still waiting for my food. I had to ask two waiters where my meal was. The first person came back to me and said they will take it off the bill and the second person said they would check again and it eventually came. The drinks came half way through everyone eating their meals. We then ordered deserts and same thing happened we had all finished ours and then my partner whose birthday it was had received his after we all ate ours. We again had to chase this up and she did take this off the bill. Very disappointed with the overall service and the lack of help especially when we decided to come here for someone’s birthday.

Great place, friendly staff and delicious food. This time we ordered several starters to share. Everything was freshly prepared and I really enjoyed the burst of flavours. The new Kokopanko chicken was outstanding.

Disappointed - used to visit the restaurant regularly. This time we decided to order a delivery and had to use Deliveroo. Placed an order of £80 value, had confirmation of the order and a delivery window. The order arrived almost an hour late and the food was cold. No apology or reason given for this. I would assume the order had been sitting on the pass waiting for Deliveroo to collect it and it had just been left to go cold. This was midweek so not a case of being unable to cope with weekend spike demand. Food quality has gone down in recent years and clearly the delivery service is not good enough. We have been left with a very disappointing experience and will not be rushing back. 😕

What a disappointment. The saku saku soba with crispy pulled mushrooms was extremely bland, lacked any sort of flavour and there was barely any sauce. Unlike the name suggests, the crispy mushrooms were in fact not pulled and were instead just large chunks. This dish overall was extremely disappointing, especially since I had recently ordered and very much enjoyed this dish at their London Heathrow Terminal 5 branch. There was a little hiccup when we were served the firecracker chicken dish even though we had ordered the prawn version. However, the waitress was very accommodating and we were soon given the correct dish. I wish I could say things improved from then, however the soba noodles we ordered with the firecracker prawn were overcooked, clumpy and very mushy which just made for an unappealing texture. While the chicken coconut kare looked delicious, the same cannot be said for the taste. Again like the first dish mentioned, it tasted very bland. While the food was definitely not up to standard, the staff were helpful and service was pretty good.

Have been to many wagamama’s in the uk. This is the only branch that served the main dish in such a small portion. The chicken yakitori was served cold. Not sure if it was left too long on the counter before serving to our table or it was cooked a long time ago.

Disappointing. The service was absolutely amazing. After having avoided wagamams for 5 years due to not great experiences my wife convinced me to try the Livingston one after a great experience she had with a friend. But after this visit it confirmed my fears and she apologised. The kids menus is great and the staff were amazingly helpful but the first off part was the panko fries chicken. It was rock solid and extremely over cooked. Then my wife's fish curry arrived, the fish was very dry and the whole dish was practically sauceless. My wife was confused "it wasn't like this last time" we asked for sauce (which looked like the sauce they forgot to add) which was at a charge. Then my duck noodles arrived and I have never had a more bland tasting noodle dish with bits of cremated duck that were like balls of oil. The good news was my daughter's kids meal of chicken noodles tasted absolutely amazing. We quickly paid up and headed to dive guys to lower our dine out disappointment. I have attached photos of the meal.

Surprised how busy it was for a Saturday evening in January. Service was great. Not overpowering and never ignored. Only been once before and enjoyed the food then and it was better than I remembered. Definitely will go back and recommend it to anyone wanting good food in a pleasant atmosphere with great staff. Update: back again and happy to say nothing has changed apart from items on the menu. Food was delicious and the service was great. What more do you want for a meal out.

This is by far and above the worst wagamamas in the country for food. I have tried wagamamas from Winchester to Livingston and everywhere in between over the past 10 years and the quality of food in this one is by far the worst. Multiple times my partner and I have come here and on more than one occasion the food is wrong, burnt or simply not up to the standard you can expect to find in a different location. Just after eating here today and must say will not be revisiting again which is highly disappointing being our favourite restaurant. I appreciate food comes at different times but I have finished my main course while my wife is yet to receive anything due to her being brought the wrong order for the second visit in a row. The staff are polite and friendly which is about the only positive I can take away.

Second time here and the food is just very meh. Very bland and/or very wet. Wagamamas is a chain so not the tastiest in general, but this one is particularly lacking with the food.

We decided to give this place another go. I wish we hadn't. It was the most tasteless, underwhelming lunch. The Pad Thai had zero flavour and was full of hard indistinguishable contents and the pork belly buns arrived at the end of the meal, were cold and were like eating over cooked boots. Won't be back to this chain again. Avoid !

I know the food cones out at diffrent times but it was really sporadic between the meals to the point I thought some of it was forgotten good when it arrived though and as expected. The toilets in here need addressed not what I would expect. It was also really cold in the restaurant possibly my personal experience but could have been warmer. Overall good but could be better.

We ordered the teriyaki soba and hoki coconut curry, the portion sizes for both were not worth the money. I have had food at wagamama several times and this was not the case. Also we had ordered a salmon tataki and we got portion size was just appalling. What was even more appalling was that, when we told our waitress this, her reason for the small size was that they were out of stock. Even though the item was taken out of our billing, it's ludicrous to think that the waitress was not upfront about this to us and would've let us pay the full price if we had not raised an issue. This is some new low.

Everytime we come here there always seems to be loads of empty table yet you have to wait for ages to be seated. Lots of staff standing around not doing much when they could be clearing tables. Our server Ewan however was very polite and very helpful. People in the queue being told they’ll have a 20 min wait yet there’s enough tables available to seat everyone. Makes no sense.

I was there with my partner on Friday and the food was amazing we had the beef hot pot and duck Donburi and a side of stud chilli squid and we have been many times before but there has definitely been a step up in quality in food and service, we have left and planning a visit very soon, 11/10 would highly recommend

Always five star great food! I've never had any problems at all but Had a problem with my last order though both ramen was missing eggs and the other bits that come along with it. I order from here on my takeaway days I don't go anywhere else now! I don't want the missing items to effect my rating as I cannot fault them, must of been a simple mistake

Can't fault wagamamas Livingston! Although it was busy we waited only minutes for a table. Staff are very attentive. Recommended dishes. Food is fantastic, full of flavour! Great for kids as well, even get there own kids chopsticks. I always go back.

Billing: Just scan a bar code, put the location and table number, provide some personal details, and pay. It's Fast.

the ramen was cold, the dunburi has too much rice w 1 tiny piece of chicken. Not worth £15 at all. Never ever coming back here. Staff were lovely though.

Last night me and my partner tried Wagamama for the very first time as it was recommended to us by a lovely girl called dahlia who works there, the whole experience was fantastic, as soon as we walked in we were introduced by the lovely manager who sat us and told us all about the menu and dietary requirements (luckily we didn’t have any) then the evening went on and we were served by a extremely friendly girl called Lauren M who made us laugh and feel very comfortable, the food came and the food was phenomenal, every dish was beautiful and the drinks were so yummy too…. The decor in the restaurant is also beautiful - peaceful and relaxing 🤗 the staff all looked like they worked very well together which in hospitality is very important and got on great….. we have found our new favourite local restaurant and will most certainly be back again 😊 thank you too the whole Wagamama team for the experience, I would recommend to everybody to try 🥰

The food was pretty good but expensive, the salad came with the katzu curry you parts of the food did taste like vinegar due to the beets however you could probably ask to not have a salad if that’s not your thing. The customer service was pretty good. If I had to name an issue it would probably be the table lay out. It’s rows of built in chairs/benches wasn’t too bad when I went because how quiet it was but I can imagine it being a little overwhelming during busier periods.

Wagamama, to me, is definitely a five-star restaurant in its price range. There is a good selection of asian food that are designed to also appeal to local tastebuds. I can recommend the ramen, steamed buns, and rice dishes, with a sake on the side.

For some strange reason you have to pay to park in the carpark opposite 😆. But anyway the restaurant is fine. Clean and tidy with helpful staff, they were even helpful with families with little kids. Simple menu with fresh and interesting Japanese style dishes. Had a mushroom starter and some pork ramen. The ramen soup base was not as good as it by used to be at wagamamas so a bit disappointing there. Food was fresh and nice. Slightly less than it used to be for me in my humble opinion.

First time i ordered from here. I dont know where the 5 star reviews coming from.The food is horrible and overpriced. I ordered few dishes Tantanmen beef brisket ramen was awfull and has nothing to do with ramen soup so was the duck gyoza.Its so salty its not edible. The only dish that was ok was the tama squid minus the mayo.15 bucks for ramen soup..never again. I didn't finished any of the food and still got heart burn in the morning.
