Almondell Cafe in West Lothian

Very friendly staff, wide variety of homemade sweets, breakfast and lunch. Our favorite place in East Calder for something delicious.

Really sorry but one of the most depressing cafes ever. The only reason I give one star is that it was warm on a cold day. Baked potato inedible.- reheated several times i reckon. Service - girl seemed fed up . Atmosphere - none whatsoever. Good coffee though.

Looking for a place to eat we found this garden center with coffee shop inside The shop is huge and has lots of different items to sell. The plants are really nice. It is a one way system to enter the coffee. It also has a big space with 13 tables of different sizes. Three people attending clients with commands, on the till, preparing, serving and clearing the tables. It is busy and they do their best, nothing to complain about as they work hard. We ordered soup, panini, sandwich, tea and a cake. Everything is made with love and very yummy.

What’s the point of advertising open on a Sunday 10am-4pm when it’s closed? Won’t be back because I’m not actually sure what the opening hours would be lol

Nice wee catchup with friends in the cafe, lovely staff and nice afternoon tea very reasonably price well worth a visit.

Food was excellent, good value for money. Very friendly and great service. Will definitely return.

Very cosy and the staff are nice and chatty. The food is made on the premises. Definitely recommend. Best to phone in these times and book a table.

Lovely place 🤗 delicious cake & coffee

Great little cafe, with a wide variety of hot food available all day. They serve good coffee and have a good selection of cakes too. The staff are friendly and thebservixe is quick. The cafe has an area for kids to play with toys and the place is good if you're bringing a pram as it's quite spacious. Overall an excellent cafe.
