We had a great meeting at Brucefield, excellent lunch, and looked after really well by the team. Thank you.

Food was lovely, staff were really helpful and the place wasn’t too busy,

Lunchtime carvery was so disappointing, potatoes were obviously from previous day and don't know how to describe the stuffing, if it even was stuffing.......

Absolutely love this place. Breakfast and the carvery. Well priced aswell. My daughter had her face painted here as they have started doing them that very day, and she loved it. Very professional and well done on her cat face she told everyone she could :) she was one happy girl. Thankyou so so much. Food is delicious Staff are fab! Wonderful inside and out. Made to feel welcome which is always good. The chefs for the breakfast and the afternoon menu are wonderful and quick to refill the buffet. Always done to a professional standard. Plenty of cat parking also.

Had another lovely breakfast, the staff are all great, Yvonne was her usual helpful and cheerful self. It's so nice to be recognised when you enter.

Pay special attention when you use a discount coupon, you may end up paying more: I ordered two three-courses set menu which was £13.99 each as stated on the menu. I asked the staff at the counter whether I can use the Octopus 25% discount on the set menu and she said yes. I thought the “yes” means a furthur 25% off the £13.99 set menu price. I added a cup of latte (£2.89) and a cup of americano (£2.39) which should bring my total to £33.26 before discount. Then I pay for the order without much noticing on the total amount (which was my mistake). I was charged £38.77 instead of £33.26. I asked for the reason and I was told two discounts (set menu was the first discount and the Octopus 25% discount on MAIN dishes was the other) cannot be applied at the same time. So the system just calculate all the stuff I ordered as a-la-carte price which was more expensive, and the discount was only on the MAIN dishes. (refer to photo). I asked can I cancel the payment and pay again by using the set menu price and the answer was a straight no. I can understand that I cannot use more than one discount at the same time, but then I would expect the staff to tell me that before I make a decision on whether I use the Octopus discount or not. Using a discount voucher and ended up paying more doesn’t make sense, am I right? Besides the above, food was good and we enjoy the brownies.

Best food about 10/10, Yvonne service was exceptional. Would definitely be back, will be recommending it to my family/friends

Went for a pizza, love, loved the pizza. I had the blue cheese buffalo sauce. Was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Been going here for years and absolutely loved the dinner/lunch menus. Only recently started going for the breakfast and it's absolutely fantastic there . Good food for the right price. Thank you to our server Chloe who was super friendly and supportive and was able to seat us and make sure our meals were good 😊.

Food wasn’t to great, Hardly put anything on the plate so stingy with it would give the tiniest slices they could, wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a meal cause you don’t get what you pay for, All you can eat but thell try give the least ammount possible even when there’s no customers

Had a lovely meal here today, family of 5 with 3 kids under 5. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and the food was lovely, every plate was cleared which never happens for us. Carvery was lovely with a great selection of veg and a good portion of meat given. Pizzas were very fresh. My 18 month old went crazy for the tomato pasta. Outside play area a bonus and good parking outside. Definitely will be back.

The food was awful and has gone downhill since the last time we were there, service none, standing waiting for someone to serve us and this old woman walks by us and straight to the counter and got served, clearly she's a regular as her and the staff member or manager are chatting away while she's getting ice cream, so the price has gone up and the quality of food and service has gone right down, what was meant to be a nice meal with the wife and family has given us a bad taste in our mouth literally, don't waste your time the nice service and good quality left when the old owners sold on, won't be going back.

What a delicious meal My Husband, 2x kids and I had came here for a meal, the waitress was very kind and helpful start to finish! Carvary was very fresh, hot and delicious! One of the best meals we have had in a long time! Topped off with a chocolate fudge cake&Ice cream! Will be back again very soon🙌

Great food, very friendly staff. Lovely fresh roast beef gammon and turkey with choice of vegetables and also an extensive menu to choose from. Very clean and tidy with a nice ambiance.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Thanks to Chloe who was checked in on us during our meal to double check everyone was enjoying their meal. The food was lovely and also catered for vegetarians, I think this place and its staff deserve a high regard, I’d definitely recommend coming here for a nice meal with a relaxing atmosphere.

I felt so sorry for the staff, so few of them, but working 2 or 3 jobs each, but I bet getting paid for 1. The place was so busy. Tables where we were are far too close together and almost touching the toilet doors, constantly people squeezing past. The food was nice but stingy, especially with the pigs in blankets. Pay extra for them, really? Id say 5/10.

Carvery was nice and so was the pizza. Mac and cheese was decent but the burger was disappointing unfortunately. The atmosphere was a bit quiet for a Sunday lunch but you could easily picture this place when full. The service was great with friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely return.

Honestly the worst carvery wev had. And wth has happened to the chef’s special home made Yorkies? Aunty Bessie’s are fine but we always chose a carvery primarily because of their gorgeous gigantic home made Yorkies 🤷🏻‍♀️

Meat was okay but veg was dry and shrivelled up. Potatoes were all burnt and they changed them as they said they were burnt and the stuffing came up in one as it was solid, dried up and stuck to the spoon. Was actually disgusting offering this to paying customers. They should be embarrassed. Not fresh and edible. Waish I had asked for money back and went elsewhere. Heard others complaining too. Wont be back. Place has drastically gone down hill.

Me and my Fiancé went out for a nice breakfast whilst the kids were at playgroup/school and we enjoyed it very much, set me up for the day. We were served by the lovely Yvonne who looked after us and smile with her joyful character

Breakfast extremely disappointing, definitely gone down hill. Bacon awful, black pudding awful, lorne sausage awful. No longer butter for toast, some sort of margarine. I'd rather pay more for better quality. It's definitely not as busy so I'm maybe not only us that have noticed a decline. In reply to your reply, it did mention it!

Whole experience was a complete shambles. Took 25mins to order drinks and meal. Took another 20mins before we actually got our meal. A trainee on the bar and a young lad doing the carving. One waitress clearing the table. The assistant manager trying to do his best. Why is it that when you do a promotion, you don't put extra staff on ? I felt so sorry for the young lad and the trainee. They knew the customers were annoyed at the length of time they waited to be served. I expected better.....

Unfortunately the food service stopped at 8pm and the whole place closed at 9pm. Bar staff offered to serve us a drink until we could get a taxi. Saturday night, I would have thought it would be open later. I should have checked.

Breakfast was good as always, but menu said there would be breakfast pizza, waffles and 2 speciality weekend items, which there wasn’t. Seems to be a regular thing when we go

Asked for gammon steak got 4 small off cuts of the carvery meat terrible won't be back again

Stay at home first staff obviously not happy in work place, veg looked like been from yesterday had to send dinner to get reheated freezing Aunty Bessie Yorkshire puddings cold meat well again terrible

Love this place. Perfect for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Food has always been great anytime I've been here. I've never had a negative experience.

I can honestly say worst beef burger ever it's a restaurant and the beef is worse quality than a burger van couldn't finish it felt sick, the other guys had a carvery which looked good but burgers should be some good quality meat at that price.
