The site used to offer venison steak and burgers, I miss that offering since it changed hands otherwise it is a good honest burger bar. They do offer steak roll that is good value. Other dishes are good also.

Farm Steadings, Starlaw Rd, Bathgate EH48 1LL, United KingdomHave stayed here many times. This trip was yet again a good experience. Staff were helpful at check-in. Room was comfortable, with really good shower. Breakfast is help yourself with good options. Pity there's no square sausage, or haggis. Lady in breakfast service was very friendly and helpful. Many thanks.

8 South StreetWaited 20 mins before drinks order taken and menus given. 50 mins from being seated to starter coming out. Food was bland and too hot. One waiter asked if I wanted the bill before mains were out. Music didn't suit restaurant. Felt ignored and service when given was abrupt and rushed.
