I stayed in this hotel for 5 days and i wished i checked out after 2 nights. I booked this hotel ages ago thinking that i will have a comfortable, safe, and good sleep. BUT 1.) From the day i checked in in this branch in Buchanan, i only seen one female staff (White young lady) that smile when she assisted another guest, the rest looks and feels like you are an inconvenient to them. 2.) The website does not stipulate that the aircondition will automatically turned off in the middle of the night. After few nights, i raise this concern to the young woman (with color) in the reception and she said there is some sort of code that only staff can open this so it was fix on that morning. But on that night it happened again, i woke up sweating as the aircondition was turned off again. I went to the reception that night feeling miserably for waking up sweaty and was told by the manager on duty that the aircon is set and will automatically turned off at a certain hour to save energy. He said to just turned it on back again. So, imagine waking up every 3 hours just to turn on your aircon because the hotel that guarantees a good sleep is saving energy. This manager provided me a fan that night instead. Before the aircondition issue, the first room (1803) that Mark allocated for me has issue as well. The electricity suddenly was not working on my first night so they shifted me to room 911 and provided me a free breakfast to compensate the inconvenience. It took a while for them to inform me that i had to shift, i went down twice to the reception as i do not know why my phone did not charge that night, cannot shower because there was no lights. I sent email as well that was provided by that young lady in color but no one came in my room so i showered with a bit of lights from the outside window. After ages of waiting 2 gentlemen finally turned up and told me that the whole 18 floor has issue with the power. 3.) The new room 911 that was allocated to me has a good bed. The room was standard, clean, quiet, and has basic amenities like coffee, sugar, tea. My only concern was the aircondition that i could not sleep well. The fan did ease a bit though but it is not what you paid for since it is stipulated in their website under facilities that aircondition is provided and a good sleep is guaranteed. My experience in this branch was the opposite - uncomfortable environment with horrible sleep. Perhaps if you stay one or two nights you will not feel that there is an issue. I tried to move out and request a refund, unfortunately i was also told that after 3 days of checking in policy is no longer valid and if i request for a refund or dispute the response from their third party takes between 20 to 25 days. Keep in mind that from day 1 there was already an issue but they compensated it with the free breakfast. I wish i noticed the red flag right away! 4.) The location is walking distance to Buchanan Bus station and other stablishments. 5.) Price is too high considering the inconvenience i experienced. 6.) There is no safe box in the room but you can leave your luggage with your personal belongings in the reception. 7.) You also have to pay extra if you want a high speed internet I don't think i would recommend this branch, and will no longer stay. It has a negative impact to me. Sorry.

Stayed on a Saturday night after visiting the Royal Concert Hall, which is literally round the corner from this hotel. Check in was easy using kiosk with a little guidance from staff. Room was on 8th floor of 18. There are three very fast lifts. Reception and restaurant are on the second floor. Our room was nice. Very clean and quite spacious. The bed was very comfortable, blackout curtains were good, and there was absolutely no noise from anywhere during the night. We slept quite well but would have slept even better with firmer pillows. Also, for guests staying more than one night, you have to “go to reception every day before 12 (to request)if you want your room serviced/more towels”. Premier Inn - Until you change this policy we’ll only be using Premier Inn for one night trips, and Travelodge for 2 night (or more) trips, because they do not make their guests que at reception for this service - you only have to hang a sign on your door handle to request same. I’m not prepared to que at reception every day to ask you to do something you should be doing anyway… We didn’t have breakfast in the restaurant but we did have our evening meal there, and it was really good. The food, service provided and price were all good. Would happily eat there again in future and would recommend.

Only real complaint is the wifi.. if your going to need wifi to finalize tours and what not then you should choose a different hotel. The wifi is terrible, its slower than mobile connection by far just getting directions off google maps for a dinner out is a challenge.

May 2O24... ...Honestly bit disappointed..... Had a Premium Plus room.... Air conditioning was stuck on 19 degrees at night.... Too hot for sleeping.... Staff and maintenance man could not fix it.... Gave us two fans... Partner came home with bronchitis from our 3 night stay.... Also tables, some floor areas... Were always sticky(due to cleaning spray) ..... Her handbag struck to the window shelve,... Left white paint on it.... That didn't please her either.... Menu.... Limited, nothing special. .... But breakfast was good as always! ..... Kind regards....

The room was quite good for the price for one night. It was clean and spacious. Check in and out processes were smooth. Very near the bus interchange and other amenities. However, the free Wifi was non-existent and cellular reception was very poor inside. If this aspect is improved, I would say it would have been perfect.

This was our second time staying here. We love the location. All encounters with the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Especially Katie in the dining room! Beds were so comfortable that I slept better than at home.

Location Location Location, 10 min walk from main train station shops/restaurants on the doorstep. Everything you expect from Premiere inn.Good breakfast.clean rooms freshly decorated. Only a small issue was the building was so tall that you will have to wait for the lifts there are 3. There is no parking onsite, however you can get a good discount on 2 local car parks .We used the cheaper one up the hill it's less than a 5 min walk we paid £8 for 24hrs.

If nothing else try the samosas. The entire experience is great and you won't be complaining. It's certainly African orientated and so expect a laid back and happy time when visiting. Somalia-centric but open to all tastes.
